The palace was decorated in beautiful shades of different colours. Orbs of golden lights floated around the beautiful estate, lighting up the palace during the night; and as if the flowers knew what the occasion was, all the trees blossomed, and many creatures came to pay their respects. The New year festival was an important night as the Almighty one and all the gods and goddess were gathered to pray and welcome the new century. The festival started off with a blessing from each god and goddess and finally the Almighty one will perform the Dance of 1000 Dragons which will place an end to the large event.

Yein was dressed in a traditional hanbok with gold embodied flowers patterns, with a bright red background. She figured that the God of War’s colour was definitely red, and it wasn’t surprising that Jungkook was wearing a hanbok that was in contrary to her hanbok. Yein didn’t deny that she was taken back by his appearance as he styled his hair up, showing his forehead and dark brows. He was without a doubt handsome, but she was still rather disappointed and unimpressed by him.

“You cannot leave me.”

Yein turned to face him with tear stained cheeks but eyes of hurt and most importantly anger. He felt his lips tremble at the sight of her expression, what made it worse; he was the one that caused those tears. She ran to him and grabbed his collar tightly, looking directly into his eyes.

“Why can I not ?”

“Because you are here to save those men in war at the moment.” He muttered in a low voice and Yein eyes widen and she pushed him away from her in an instance.

“You bastard.” She glared at him and he gave her a sympathetic look, “That is a such a low move, even for a god like you.”

With that she walked off and left Jungkook who knew the other gods were listening on their conversation and was surprised how affect he was by his fated to be. Taehyung was especially taken back by the threat that Jungkook used.

Loud drums started to capture Yein’s attention as a beautiful figure made her way into the centre of the stage. All the gods and goddess were sitting in balconies that formed a square while the almighty one bowed deeply to the moon. Jungkook was sitting next to her as each God’s respective partners were sitting with them. Yein had to admit she wasn’t the least but pleased by the situation but still she decided that she would ignore him and enjoy herself as it had been so long since she had attended a festival and she had to admit this closing ceremony was indeed impressive. However that wasn’t what had caught Yein’s attention during the whole ceremony, it was the golden butterfly that had landed on Xiu ai’s hair. It started to flatter its wings and Yein became stuck in a trance as it started to fly off the Almighty one’s head and into the starry night sky.

Jungkook who tried not to let his eyes catch Yein, couldn’t hold it back anymore however she was no longer by his side and that worried him.

Yein found her way towards a garden that was brighten up by the moon’s natural light. She had followed the golden butterfly that had led her to this beautiful garden that was surrounded by water but there were large rocks that lead a path towards the centre of the garden where a large cherry blossom tree stood. She didn’t know how but she was now under the beautiful tree gazing at the pink flowers that occasionally fell. Then a figure appeared wearing a white hanbok with golden embraided flowers similar to hers, she was sitting on the top branch high up in the tree with her red shoes sticking out.

“There you are!” The voice called out to Yein and then the silhouette that was on top of the old tree was now holding her hands and gave her a bright smile.

“You are Yein, am I right?”

“Yes…” Yein nodded and she couldn’t put her finger on it but she felt as if she had met this young woman in front of her. She had long golden hair and bright blue eyes that made her think of a sunny day where her eyes mirrored the bright blue sky.

“Have we met before?”

The young woman didn’t reply to her question but smiled softly as she gently guided one of her hands and took her towards the middle of the garden. Yein was astounded by her beauty and she wondered how could such a woman be as beautiful as her; she truly is a goddess but she couldn’t put a name to her face.

“Who are you?” Yein couldn’t help but ask as she followed the beautiful goddess. The goddess couldn’t help but smile.

“You know who I am.” She finally answered, “ I am the Goddess that brings light to where she walks, that brings rays of hope and sunshine. I am the one that brings an end to all hatred in this world and the one that controls all. I am the goddess of Peace and life.”

“Indeed you are,” Yein agreed as she could feel that much from her presence but that wasn’t her question, “But what is your name?”

“I cannot say, not now at least.” She smiled and caressed Yein’s cheek as she gave her a loving smile, “Come! I am going to show you a dance, it was one that my mother had taught me.”

Yein nodded and like a mirror she copied each step the goddess made, for some unknown reason she started to understand the dance and soon she no longer followed the goddess’s steps but instead they danced together after one another. Yein closed her eyes as she could hear the loud drumming again however this time it was different, it was louder, and with every step she took, a drum would guide her and eventually she was in sync with the music. Then she could vaguely see the golden lanterns that decorated the palace and she could then see each god and goddess as they gazed her in amazement.

It was odd, Yein felt so out of place yet she felt so familiar with this scene and before she knew it, it was all over.

“Xiu Ai!”

Yein opened her eyes only to be taken back by a tear stained Jungkook who was holding tightly onto her small hand that was caressing his cheek.

“Why are you crying?”
