After everything that happened that night, Hyukjae decided to just return home. It might seem that nothing much happened, but to Hyukjae, it was one exhausting night. Hyukjae sighed before taking his phone out texting Sungmin that he returned home before entering his apartment and closing the door behind him. he was feeling down and he couldn’t keep his mind off of Minho’s issue. He felt bad for the couple but he knew that he couldn’t do anything to help if one of them isn’t willing. Frowning at the idea, Hyukjae wondered why Minho’s boyfriend didn’t try to fight for his love? It was so obvious that they both loved each other a lot. So why choose to suffer? Why not fight together for their happiness? Why not try even if there will be some hardships, atleast they’d be together. Hyukjae knew that it was not his place to judge but he just couldn’t help it. He felt bad for the guys, he wants to help, but how? Hyukjae took a deep breath and shook his head, deciding that he’ll try to figure everything out later when his mind isn’t so occupied. Of course even if he wanted to act like he forgot a certain scene, his mind wouldn’t let him. admist all these thoughts, a certain scene keeps replaying in his head. A pair of darkened brown captivating him, making him unable to look away, hot breath tangling with his as a pair of hands wrapped themselves around his thin waist, the distance closing between them slowly by the second, a few inches more and their lips will touch.

“Argh!” Hyukjae groaned ruffling his hair in frustration.

“Get out of my head!” He gritted his teeth, his irritation rising when the scene refused to get chased out of his mind. he closed his eyes, took a deep breath and tried to calm down. After finally succeeding, he made his way to his room and to his bathroom deciding to just take a shower before sleeping. Just as he made his way into his bathroom, he heard his phone ring signaling a new message. Sighing, he walked towards his phone -that he left on his desk beside the door- figuring that Sungmin was the one messaging him now. He took his phone in his hand and unlocked it only to raise an eyebrow in surprise when he saw that the message was from Aiden. Hyukjae checked the clock and saw that it was already 3:30AM. What does he want in this hour? Curious, Hyukjae opened the other’s message.

Aiden:- Hyukkie? Are you awake?

It said. Hyukjae quickly typed a reply. Curious as to what the other wanted at this hour.

Eunhyuk:-Yeah, what’s up?

Hyukjae had to wait for a while before the other finally replied back.

Aiden:- Oh, you are? I thought you’d be asleep....

Eunhyuk:- Nah, I was doing some stuff so I haven’t gone to sleep yet.

Aiden:- I see.

Hyukjae frowned. Aiden seemed quieter than usual right now. Usually he’d be quite talkative. But it doesn’t seem the case at the moment. Something must be up.

Eunhyuk:- Aiden? Is everything okay?

Aiden:-Yeah.

He replied simply making Hyukjae’s frown deepen. Okay, there’s definitely something wrong.

Eunhyuk:- What happened? You seem unusually down.

Hyukjae waited for awhile more while Aiden took his sweet time to answer. Hyukjae sighed, he was getting worried by now. Just what the heck is wrong with the other?

Aiden:- No. nothing happened. I’m just… confused….

Hyukjae read the message. He too was confused. Just what is going on? The other just suddenly messaged him in this ungodly hour just to tell him that he was confused? Confused of what? Hyukjae didn’t understand what was going on anymore.

Eunhyuk:- Do you want to talk about it?

Aiden:- No it’s not important. I’m sorry for bothering you so late at night.

Hyukjae shook his head at that. it didn’t seem like the other will be telling him anything anytime soon so he’ll just let him be and not pressure him to say anything if the other didn’t want to.

Eunhyuk:- it’s okay, I’m just glad that you’re okay =) I’m always here if you need anything okay? Don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Aiden:- Thank you. You should go sleep now, it’s pretty late already.

Eunhyuk:- I will. You too, don’t think too much and just sleep. Everything will be solved eventually so don’t stress yourself out =) Good night ^^

Hyukjae sent his message and waited for awhile for the other to reply. It didn’t seem like Aiden will reply anytime soon so Hyukjae just locked his phone and walked back to his bathroom. He stopped and glanced at his phone before shaking his head and heading into the bathroom. He wondered what was going on but he’s not going to force the other. It seemed like he had something on his mind that he wanted to share but changed his mind in the end. Hyukjae didn’t know why he changed his mind but he doesn’t want to think too much about it. He already has his mind occupied by other things and adding one more wouldn’t help. Sighing, Hyukjae finally started his shower before changing and going to bed after a long tiring day.

ding dong ding dong.

Groaning, Hyukjae woke up from the sound of his door bell ringing. He opened his eyes feeling how a headache started to attack his head, before sitting up on bed. He looked at the clock infront of his bed and saw that it was already 3:40PM. He had slept for almost twelve hours. Sighing in frustration, he got up and walked to his apartment’s door to open to who ever was outside before they break his doorbell. Once he opened the door, he was greeted by his two bestfriends. One was grinning from ear to ear while the other had a smirk decorating his face. Groaning, hyukjae left them at the door way before turning around and walking back to his room. He laid back on his bed and covered himself, completely ignoring the two guys who just wandered into his home like it was their own.

“Rise and shine sleepy head! Where’re going shopping!” Hyukjae heard Sungmin chirp as he kicked the door to his room open. Hyukjae just ignored the other and continued his little sleep.

“Hey now. You better get up before I make you do the ice bucket challenge.” Sungmin said an evil grin drawn on his face.

“They always have the best reaction when they don’t see it coming.” Kyuhyun added, his smirk evident in his voice. Hearing what they said, Hyukjae peaked from under his cover looking at them with narrowed eyes.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

“Oh, we both know, we would.” Sungmin said before motioning for Kyuhyun who nodded and raised a bucket filled with water. Hyukjae widened his eyes before shooting out of bed and into his bathroom. He didn’t know where they got the bucket from; he didn’t see it with them when they came. But he sure as hell is not going to sit around to find out.
Hyukjae took a quick shower before getting out to find the couple sitting on his bed with sungmin playing on his phone while laying down on Kyuhyun’s lap who was patting his head gently with a small smile painting his face. If Hyukjae didn’t know any better, he would have thought that they were cute. Snickering at the thought, he made his way to the closet and took out a simple white shirt and jeans before getting dressed. He put on his shoes before sighing and looking at his friends.

“I’m ready to go. Let’s go.” He said and Sungmin jumped up from the bed excitedly.

“Yay! Let’s go! We need to buy you a new outfit for your date!” Hyukjae frowned hearing that. He had almost forgot about his date with Aiden tomorrow. How could he forget that? And the latter haven’t said anything about it either. This is weird.
