“Wait! Please!” Hyukjae shouted after the guy running, bumping into someone in the process. He apologized quickly before turning around to run after the boy. He was a little far from him now but Hyukjae wasn’t going to let him go so easily. This is going to be one huge misunderstanding if he didn’t explain it right now so he can’t just stand still and do nothing. He cursed under his breath before speeding off and finally catch up to the boy before grabbing his hand.

“Please wait!” Hyukjae tried to reason but the boy started to struggle in his hold.

“Let go of me!” The boy shouted but Hyukjae shook his head.

“No please listen to what I have to say first! This is just a huge misunderstanding!” Hyukjae plead but he only earned a teary glare from the boy and a snicker.

“Misunderstanding? Please do explain how a kiss is a misunderstanding?” He asked sarcastically but Hyukjae just shook his head.

“It’s really not like that,” Hyukjae said almost desperately. I ed up. He thought before he heard whispering around them. He looked up and found the people around were looking at them weirdly. They garnered the attention of people and by the looks he’s getting, they probably think that he did something bad to the crying guy infront of him. Which is not entirely wrong. Hyukjae sighed before letting go of the guy’s hand.

“Let’s go somewhere to talk calmly.” Hyukjae tried but the guy shook his head.

“Talk about what? It doesn’t matter anymore anyway.” The guy whispered the last part, looking down while sniffing.

“No it does! Please, I won’t take much of your time just give me 10 minutes. Anything. Just, listen to me, please?” Hyukjae plead again. The boy looked uncertainly at him before nodding his head slowly in agreement. Hyukjae smiled before motioning towards a café a few stores infront of them.

“Thank you. well, let’s go have a drink there while we talk.” He suggested earning another nod. They walked towards the café before Hyukjae asked the boy what he liked to drink.

“A latte.” The boy replied. Hyukjae nodded.

“Okay, go sit down and I’ll go order for us.” Hyukjae offered. The boy nodded before walking to find an empty table for them. Hyukjae soon joined him with the drinks a couple minutes later. Hyukjae looked at the boy who was lost in his thoughts infront of him before sighing. Now how am I supposed to explain this? Hyukjae sighed. He wasn’t good with this stuff. But he can’t sit around and do nothing. Especially since he genuinely wants to help the couple. Determined, Hyukjae cleared his throat and smiled when the boy finally noticed his arrival.

“I don’t think I have introduced myself before. I’m Hyukjae.” Hyukjae introduced himself with a smile earning a small, almost unnoticeable smile from the boy infront of him.

“I’m Taemin.” The boy replied.

“Taemin.. I’ll just get right into the subject so that I won’t take too much of your time. What you saw is literally nothing more than a little joke. He was just teasing me with my friends. Nothing more.” Hyukjae tried to explain only to earn a suspicious look from the other.

“Why would he do that?” Taemin asked.

“Well, it’s a long story but he was basically helping me get rid of some guy who was bothering me, and my friends then joked about it and one thing lead to another. It literally was only a joke.” Hyukjae tried to explain. Taemin looked uncertainly at him before shaking his head slowly and looking down, tears forming again in his eyes.

“It doesn’t matter. He wouldn’t have done it if….” He bit his lip before looking the other way, wiping away a tear that had escaped.

“No Taemin. Minho loves you. I know it. You didn’t see his face when you left the club. He genuinely still loves and cares about you. Just please, can you talk to him? He’d love to get back together with you.” Hyukjae tried to suggest but Taemin only shook his head at that causing Hyukjae to frown.
