Complications
Replaced“You can’t stay here forever, Chanwoo. My break will be over in two days, I can’t even stay here myself. I need to get back to my dorm first thing tomorrow.” Moonbin complained. Chanwoo bit his lip, thinking of another way to get away from his hyungs right now. “Besides, they’re worried of you. Look at how many times your phone rang. You’re in a middle of promoting your singles too, right? Don’t you have schedules?” Chanwoo groaned as he reminded him. They have dance practice tomorrow.
“Just sort things out with them, yeah? They’re your hyungs after all” Moonbin said to him. “I couldn’t see you again if I do..” Chanwoo argued. Moonbin looked at him with a confused look. “Nonsense. Why would you think that?” He asked genuinely clueless to his best friend’s statement.
“They’re not really keen on the idea that I’ve been spending my time with you. I don’t know, I tried to explain to Yunhyeong hyung, but he doesn’t listen. Actually, it’s my first time seeing him that furious of me.” Chanwoo explained to him. Moonbin took a while to process what he said to him.
“That’s weird. Why would they be like that?” Moonbin took a while to sit there and think of a reason until he heard a knock on the door of his room. “Oh, I better get that” Moonbin stated.
“I brought cookies and drinks for both of you guys” Moonbin’s mom announced as she placed them on th floor for them to eat. Chanwoo quickly stood up as soon as he saw his mother and thank her. “You shouldn’t have, auntie” Moonbin’s mom smiled and patted Chanwoo’s hair. “Hey, anything for Binnie’s best friend. It’s been such a long time, Chanwoo. You’ve grown into such a handsome young man. Tell your mother to visit us sometimes, okay?” Chanwoo nodded at the request and say his thanks once more before she finally leaves.
“This feels like I’m back home, back to our childhood memories, y’know?” Chanwoo suddenly said smiling as he eats the cookies that Moonbin’s mother just got for them. “I won’t sacrifice this for anything. Never again.” Chanwoo continued. Moonbin smiled at him in response. He was right; this is exactly what they would do back when they were still young and oblivious to everything. It would be a lie to say that he didn’t miss these moments with him.
“Then tell them how you feel. Maybe they would understand if you tell them how well you’re treated when with me. Tell them that they don’t need to worry whenever you’re with me. I’m sure it’ll work~” Moonbin said cheerfully. “I don’t think that’s the main problem, honestly” Chanwoo mumbled hearing Moonbin’s suggestion.
“You won’t know until you try~ You’re going to inform them you’re okay and get back to your dorm tonight, okay?” Moonbin demanded causing Chanwoo to pout. Moonbin then took his phone, which is being charged, then shoved it into Chanwoo’s direction. “Tell them. Now.” Chanwoo sighed. “No. I don’t want to.” Chanwoo said crossing his arms.
“Fine then. I’ll tell them.” Moonbin said threatening him. Chanwoo looked at him suspiciously. “You’re just teasing me. I know you won’t dare to do it.” Moonbin smirked at Chanwoo, finding the contact of Hanbin in Chanwoo’s phone, knowing that he’s the leader and showing it to his face. “Why do you always doubt my bravery, Jung Chanwoo?” He said right before finally pressing the button and dialing the said leader.
Moonbin waited for a voice greeting him, and after a couple minutes he could hear the latter, asking for Chanwoo and his whereabouts. Moonbin could tell he was very worried. He then took a look at Chanwoo, offering him to go and talk to his beloved leader, but he still refuses to do so causing Moonbin to groan. “Yah, are you serious right now, Jung Chanwoo?” Moonbin nagged quietly making sure HAnbin didn’t hear it on the phone. Chanwoo however didn’t react or do anything in particular.
“Hello, Hanbin sunbaenim, I’m sorry but this isn’t Chanwoo. He is sleeping at the moment. I am Moonb
