“Eonnie~ Where are you going? It’s late at night…” Lisa whispered as she tried to stop Jennie form going out of the dormitory.
“Shh. I’ll be quick. I’ll have to do something.” Jennie reassured Lisa. “Go back to sleep now. I’ll be back before you know it.” Jennie tapped Lisa’s shoulder.
“But, eonnie.” Lisa sighed. “Okay. Just be back before everyone knows you’ve gone out, alright?”
“Got it. Good night, Lalisa~” Jennie smiled at her.

Jennie was holding the cake she bought the day before as she settled on the bench just near their place. Taeyong and her place. It’s 10:43 in the evening and the night breeze is getting colder near Hangang. She’s just wearing a pullover paired with her denims and it’s not enough to immensely get rid of the coldness. She looked around to check if someone’s around or at least she’s hoping he’s there. It’s been three years. Who knows? He’ll show up or not? Maybe Taeyong really forgot her already. Maybe he even forgot about this place. The tree house, the bench, and everything around here.
“Happy birthday to you, Wonsungi. It’s a bit late. It’s almost midnight. At least. Better late than never right? It took me sometime to gather my courage to come here. You won’t know anyway that I dropped by. I won’t blame you for not coming here anyway. It’s been three long years. Do you even remember me?” Jennie lit the candles up and stared at the cake place on her lap for a while. She smiled as she rub her palms. It’s getting cold and she needs to go back to the dorms in a bit while but something is stopping her from doing so. “Yeah. I saw you yesterday. I know it’s you. I am back. But you’re not even giving some goddamn care, right? Fine. I understand Wonsungi. Sometimes I regret on not coming back immediately. Aish. But I told you it’s two or three years. You’re not just patient enough.” She smiled bitterly. “But I still consider you as a friend even though this happened to us. I should get mad at you, you know that.” She sighed. “But I just couldn’t.
