Chapter 7: Nose

Ten woke up to a seemingly unfamiliar room. He was sure it wasn’t his or Johnny’s room nor was it his cousin’s. He’d only ever spent the night in those dorm rooms unless… Crap! Ten can’t possibly have slept with someone, he was with Johnny and the act of sleeping around wasn’t his promiscuity after all he didn’t find interest in girls and he wasn’t sure enough of his ual orientation to actually be sleeping with guys. However that just might not be the case, he knows how he feels for Taeyong and seeing the latter so suddenly on his peaceful Saturday may have disrupted his sanity. Have I gone insane or too wild last night? He honestly doesn’t know how he acts towards alcohol, he didn’t go to the extent of having too much to drink to actually lose control of himself.

He was thinking too much about waking up on someone else’s room he didn’t realize that someone had opened the door.

“Oh, you’re awake.”

Ten was startled to say the least but what surprised him most was the person behind the door. Realizing it was the slightly taller male he had been trying to avoid, he let out a yelp

“Wha-What are you doing here?” Ten stammered as he shuffled on the bed trying to get away from Taeyong’s approaching figure “D-did something happen last night?”

As Taeyong was about to reply he moved closer to the bed, but Ten was quick to stop him “Don’t come near me!”

Taeyong pulled his hands up in defense and let out a chuckle “Answer me! What happened between us last night?” Ten yelled hugging the duvet as he was at the very edge of Taeyong’s bed trying his best to avoid the latter

“Hm, Let’s see” Taeyong pretended to think “You come up to me at Wendy’s party going on about how small my waist are and you started crying, comparing me to some porcelain doll and claiming that you missed me then you apologize but I’m well aware that you were drunk. I predicted this would happen but seeing as you looked like a lost puppy while you try so hard to find Johnny, I decided to take you home since you started crying and begging me that you didn’t want to sleep in the streets.” Taeyong summed up for the younger and Ten was very embarrassed by his actions. “Nothing happened between us if that’s what you wanted to know.” Taeyong sighed and was about to turn on his heal and leave

“I’m sorry” Ten mumbled out

“What was that?”

“I’m sorry.” Ten repeated “I’m sorry for how I acted but thank you for taking care of me.”

“It’s fine.” Taeyong smiled “We’re fine, right?”

Taeyong waited for a reply but instead Ten got off the bed and walked over to the older. He tiptoed slightly and hugged Taeyong. Wrapping his arms around the older’s neck. Taeyong was caught off guard but he slowly wrapped his arms around the younger’s waist and rested his chin on Ten’s shoulder, letting out a sigh

“I made you breakfast.” He said lowly against Ten’s ear

“Really?” Ten let go and smiled brightly “I really missed you’re cooking Taeyong”

“I know”

Taeyong used to hate Sunday mornings. He’d always wake up with a bad hangover and he was always too tired to cook for himself, but even before that he learned to hate Sundays because no one ever accompanies him. Yuta always has soccer practice early in Sunday so Taeyong would find himself alone until the Japanese lad gets home to have lunch with him. Yuta tried to convince Taeyong to come with him and watch him practice but Taeyong decided against it for he needed as much sleep as he can get and he didn’t want to risk being hit by a football.

But this Sunday morning however was particularly enjoyable for Taeyong.

Ten was sitting on the counter as Taeyong made hot chocolate for the both of them. Ten was lazily staring at him and Taeyong can’t help but glance at the younger every now and then.

“You know you can sit at the dining area now and start eating, I woke up especially early to cook those first.” Taeyong said gesturing to the prepared food.

Ten just shook his head and titled it to the side. Taeyong sighed and continued making the hot chocolate, he didn’t even notice that Ten had hopped off the counter and s his arms around the older’s waist once again, like last night.

“Aish, seriously Ten, just wait for me at the dining area.” Taeyong warned but his toned wasn’t annoyed, it was rather playful. Ten however, gave him a pout but made his way to the dining area.

Once Taeyong finished the two cups of hot chocolate he made his way to the dining area, where Ten boredly waited for the latter

“I thought I told you to start eating.” Taeyong sighed, somewhat frustrated as he pulled a chair next to Ten “Come on, eat”

Ten shook his head and let out a whine. Taeyong concluded that this was probably the aftermath of Ten’s drunken state. This is probably his way of a hangover but Taeyong found it cute nonetheless.

Taeyong started feeding Ten, giving him spoonfuls one by one as he ate from his own plate as well. He didn’t mind one bit because it was Ten and he was actually enjoying Ten’s prescence.

If it means Ten being with him. Then Sundays would grow on to be his favourite day of the week

It was already 2:30 and Ten had no plans on leaving Taeyong’s apartment. They are currently watching spongebob and Taeyong was too engrossed in the episode because apparently spongebob was Taeyong’s favourite cartoon. However, Ten wasn’t having it. He was slightly getting jealous of the yellow sea creature for having Taeyong’s full attention on him. Ten started kicking Taeyong lightly to which the elder replies with a groan of slight annoyance but then getting back on focusing on the cartoon.
