“Donghae, I’m sorry I can’t. You’ll just hurt yourself”

“But-“

“I love you but only-”

“As a friend? As a brother? Are you sure about your reason?”

“What do you mean?”

Her eyes narrowed when Donghae questioned her reason...and they’re all LIES. We’ll she lied again

“Do you still love Taecyeon?”

“Donghae-“

“I know you’re lying”

“I- I- don’t know”

“Then...you’re still not over him?”

He was anxious to know her answer

“I- I really don’t know. I’m so sorry”

With that Jessica turned away and cried

“It’s hard but I can’t get over him”

“I don’t care. I’ll still wait for you”

He was going to wait no matter what

“You’re just hurting yourself! You’re my friend and I don’t want you to get hurt!”

Tears were falling down Donghae’s eyes. He felt being burdened by all these stupid surpassing heart aches

“I don’t want to be just a ‘friend’ that is why I’ll wait”

“Don’t force yourself”

“I don’t care”

“Why? Why are you doing this?”

“It’s because I love you. You’re the only person who taught me how to love. After our five years of friendship, I have learned to love others and love myself more”

Donghae has reasons too. It’s not stupid nor immature...but it’s real this time.

A deafening silence engulfed the two. And Donghae broke the stillness by saying ‘these’ words once again.

“I will wait. I have never given up yet”

She said half the truth and half the lie. She hasn’t completely moved on but she’s already feeling something special for Donghae...and Jessica doesn’t want to admit it yet. Unfortunately, she’s still in the process of confronting herself about those crazy little tingly feelings she felt when Donghae’s around.

Jessica’s a lucky girl.

Because Donghae is willing to wait for her no matter what the circumstance is.
