“Jes- Jessica” it felt like his tongue was being twisted

“What? You’re wasting my time. Uhm, I have to go”

“Can you-  can you-“

Seriously, he wants to barf due to nervousness. But this isn’t the right time to barf

“Say it quick!”                  

“Can I be your girlfriend?”

“What?” she let out a giggle while looking at him puzzlingly yet amused. Giving up, she bursted out laughing at his face

“No! I mean boyfriend, boyfriend!”

“Are you serious? We’re not even friends...I’m leaving”

She was about to leave when Donghae blocked her way

“What?!? The program will start in ten minutes”

“I’m serious this time”

He gazed softly into her eyes. He is sincere and serious and true. At first, he didn’t want to admit that he has fallen head over heels for Jessica. It just happened.

“Hey, you’re ruining my toga”

“Oh I’m sorry” he said while freeing his grip on her arms

It was their graduation night and Donghae has to say those three little cheesy  (he thinks that way) words to Jessica before he regrets it.

“Jessica”

“What again?”

“I love you”

The girl just stared blankly at him. Tongue-tied as well, she decided to turn her back on him and walked away. But Donghae blocked her way. Spreading his wide arms widely, as if it’s going to detach.

Saying those words made him feel good. He even thought that he would be puking after confessing but it happened the other way around.

“I’m sorry sir, but you are not my type”

Jessica’s words struck Donghae deeply but it didn’t bug him. He changed himself instead.

On the other hand...what did Jessica just say? They’re all  LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES, NOTHING BUT LIES. It’s not that he’s not her type but she couldn’t decipher the fact that the man she hated the most loves her...truly.

In conclusion, she was also tongue-tied.
