Second year in college and Donghae’s still waiting. He finally gathered up the courage to ask her again.

“Jessica Jung, I have been wooing you for three years and I think it’s time for you to answer my question. Can you be my girlfriend?”

Jessica stood frozen in the corner yet she remained composed. Her eyes...it was full of guilt

“I’m sorry Donghae but you can’t. I even told you to stop because you’ll just hurt yourself”

“But- but why?”

He was shocked,confused and hurt.

“Hey Jess”

A good looking man stood beside Jessica and gave her a peck on the cheek

“Donghae, meet Taecyeon, my boyfriend” she smiled sadly

“Oh, is he the Donghae you were talking about?” the buff daddy asked

“Y- yes”

“Nice to meet you, I’m Taecyeon”

Taecyeon offered him a handshake yet Donghae still accepted it nicely. He forced a smile yet his eyes are already welling up with tears.

“Are you crying?” the other man asked

God, he was annoying him. He wanted to break his neck and crush his knees.

“No, I’m just sleepy” he defended

“I’m really sorry Hae”

Jessica was really sorry. She didn’t even tell him about her relationship with Taecyeon. Donghae felt betrayed at the same time. But Jessica has her reasons too, remember? Why?

Because she’s afraid that she might hurt Donghae but her plan didn’t even go well since her wonderful boyfriend ruined it.

“Did I miss something?” Taecyeon looked puzzled

“Uhm, I’ll be going now. Congratulations Sica, I knew you’ll find someone, someday. Take care of her, Taecyeon”

“I promise”

“Don’t you ever dare Taecyeon, don’t you ever dare or else” Donghae thought

He projected as sad smile to the couple before leaving

Now, it was Jessica’s turn to suffer. Her guilt was driving her crazy

“I’m really sorry Donghae, I’m really sorry” she thought
