I've known Kim Mingyu for a long time, he was always the same stupid dongsaeng who would always cling to me whenever he gets the chance. He's the type to sleep with his stomach exposed and the next morning he'll be sick He's the type to cook for everyone but sneezes right in the food. He's also the type that gets carried away by movies like Forrest Gump and Hachiko, so imagine how taken aback I was when the first time I saw him perform way back before our debut, he puts up a very charismatic front.

I was surprised to say the least. It was not a bad thing, oh no, but I noticed how his charisma tripled since we debuted. His eyes would gleam and sparkle, and I could tell the fans are swooned by that kind of stuff. The way he would smirk would always cause a ruckus in the crowd and the way he would show his canines always brought smiles to the audience. Not only that, but Mingyu would also have a spunk to his rap and he would also do well in his dancing. Mingyu was different when he's working and sometimes I couldn't help but look at him whenever he's on stage.

We're currently in a fansign event. We always try our best to entertain the fans, we try to be as lively as possible as Seungkwan emcees. It was delightful to interact with the people who support and believe in you. My eyes were already fixed on Mingyu, he would show such an enticing side of him. Something that I couldn't do. I admired how charismatic he was while being genuine to his own self. He was seated at the very end, he smiled and laughed at our member's jokes.

It wasn't everyday that I would ponder about him. Even when he was already annoying me in the back of my mind, it's one of those rare ocassions where I would shamelessly dote on him secretly. Ah, our eyes met... somehow my body is warming up. I kind of feel a bit shy, I barely pay attention to him this much in such an obvious manner. Normally, I would just glance a few times and try to ignore him, but somehow, I'm drawn to him.

I was too busy inside my head when I barely heard Seungkwan call for me.

"Woozi-ssi?" Seungkwan asked.

"Huh? Oh, yes?" I raised my brows and looked over his way.

"The fans want to know who do you admire most in the group and why?" Seungkwan darted his eyes on me as if he already knew my answer. I could feel Soonyoung being expectant and I could also see S.Coups hyung's wishing eyes. How did it come to this? I thought.

It took me sometime as I thought, I held my mic tightly before bringing it near my lips. "Minggu." I said. I'm surprised myself, I never thought I would actually answer truthfully. Mingyu's attention was on me and I could feel my cheeks burning up, it was a bad idea to be honest at that moment. "Minggu.. He works hard and I could see his dedication. I think it's really beautiful." The worst. I am the worst. Being so honest... I might as well be digging my own grave because--- And here we go, I see Mingyu coming all the way here.

I anticipated as much as I saw Mingyu's puppy-like smile. And instantly I felt his warm body enveloping mine. I'm beginning to think that he's not doing this just for fanservice, I hid my reddening face on his chest. I want to hit him with my mic but... the fans will be upset if I do. I just.. I just have to endure it. He smelled nice and I think I'm becoming lightheaded from the close contact...

"Mingyu-ssi." Seungkwan said nervously, "Mingyu-ssi, you can let go of Woozi--"

"No." Mingyu cooed.

"But-- Woozi hyung is turning red." I heard Seungkwan break out of his MC character.

Mingyu glanced down and was proven right. I remained silent as I try my best to at least give a boxy smile.

I hear the fans' delighted squeal. Of course they like this sort of thing, but I couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"Sorry, sorry." Mingyu nervously laughed, I guessed he noticed he got a bit carried away. I was back into my own thoughts, silently panicking inside my head when I felt my wrist being tugged. The next thing I knew I was being pulled out of my chair? What? I was aimlessly guided to stand up and W A I T-- Mingyu held me tight as he sat on my stool and placed me on top of his lap.

Calm down, Lee Jihoon. This is fanservice, this is certainly fanservice. 

"Excuse me." I heard Seungcheol's deep voice intervene during Seungkwan's MC-ing. Everyone looked at him, as he pointed at us, "Why are you so lovedovey?"

Ah.. this hyung.. he is making things worse for me. I wanted to crawl into a hole until my redness went away. Why didn't Mingyu just go back to his own stool? 

"Because I'm a fool for Jihoonie hyung" Mingyu said confidently.

Hearing those words.... I really want to hide myself, but I'm a professional. I have to keep myself composed, but the feeling of his arms around me... I feel weak. I heard the audience awes and comments, but I still couldn't believe I was in a situation where I can't get out.Thankfully, Seungkwan's doing a great job running the event along as the focus weren't on us anymore.

I felt weight on my shoulder as I saw from the corner of my eye Mingyu resting his chin. He looked comfortable, so much so that I want to kick him in the gut. He was taking full advantage of this situation. I take back what I said about him. He is not charismatic, he is a wolf diving in every opportunity he gets. The way his hair would tickle my neck and the way his breath would warm up my skin... this is just too much.

"Hyung.." Mingyu whispered in my ear. 

".....What?" I mumbled.

"I'm happy." He said to me, I could see him blushing... 

"....." I remained quiet, I didn't know how to respond to that.

"I'm happy that you think that way. I always worry that I was the only one looking your way, but you were looking in mine as well.... " He was like a shy highschooler, how... how laughable yet cute. "I couldn't help it and the next thing I knew I was already approaching you for a hug...."

I felt a bit guilty. I didn't know he had thoughts like that. He was worried that it was unrequited... It's partly my fault since I barely say or do anything about these kind of things. "..It's okay... I don't mind." I timidly replied.

"I want to kiss you right now... but there are a lot of people." Mingyu's words sent shivers down my spine, this guy is sly...

"....Later.... kiss me later." It took me so much courage just to even whisper that back to him. He tightened his hold on me and snuggled me more. Th-This guy.. really is like a puppy.

Omake:

"For a second I thought you were going to reveal your relationship to the fans." Jisoo commented in a lighthearted manner.

"I almost did--"

"Shut up, you tall lamp post." I interjected as I gave Mingyu a rightful punch on his cheek.
