Sungaje and Sooyoung meet in his dad’s work place, Sungjae promised her that she can meet his dad today. On their way to Sungjae’s dad room, they meet Yerim and Minhyuk who walking side by side,

“Oppa..,” she’s calling him while running to him, “what are you doing here?,” she asked.

“Then, you, what are you doing here?,” he asked her back without giving her answer, then he saw Minhyuk, “who is he?,” he asked.

“Today, I didn’t have tutor class, so I came here, and he is dad’s partner, Minhyuk oppa,” she said, then she’s looking at Sooyoung, “unnieI, I’m really sorry because I suspicious at you last time,” she said then bowing to Sooyoung, Sooyoung look awkward with this kind of situation,

“No need to give me bow like that,” she said, “If I were you, I would be suspicious too, it’s okay,” she said, Yerim smiling after heard that.

“I hope you’ll find your whole family,” she said then leave them, before that she is whispering something to her brother, “congratulation, oppa.” She knows that both of them are dating now.

Sooyoung just standing there, not knowing what to do after heard the son and the father debating,

“You should go now, or else I want tell anything about her father, I know her father…,” his dad said, Sungjae looking at terrified Sooyoung and decided to leave the room, “but..promise me..don’t say anything that will hurt her,” he said the really leave the room after giving smile to Sooyoung.

Fortunately his dad really want talk to her, he told her to sit with a soft voice, then he bring out a box,

“I’m sorry for hiding the biggest secret, I’m sure you hate me right now,” he said then take a seat in fron fo Sooyoung.

“It’s half half. Half of me is happy that I finally meet my dady long leg, but the other half I’m not really sure what kind of feeling is that,” she said.

“Before I start telling you about your family, I don’t think I can keep my promise to my son,” he said, so the words that he’ll talk to her will hurt her somehow,

“Then don’t keep it, I think I’m ready to cry after this..it’s okay, I already held that tears for years.”

Then he opening the box and take out a photo where there are 4 people in there, 2 boys and 2 girls,

“Who are they?.”

“We know each other since high school, she is your mom, he is your dad,” he said while pointing at the boy and the girl who standing in the middle, “and he is me,” he said.

He told her that they take the photo a day after graduation ceremony, after that they took different path. Her dad took education major while her mom took art major, and Sungjae’s dad majoring in psychology. Exactly, 6 years after that Sungjae’s dad became a psychiatrist and his long time friend, Sooyoung’s dad, want Sungjae’s dad to help him, “my sister need you,” he said and he give him another news that he’ll get married next month, with Kang Heesun who at that time want to start her carrer as model, but then she cancel it because she already having a baby in her womb, that baby is Sooyoung. Then he help him, his sister became his first patient. After a month therapy she became better, but then…after that without knowing the reason she commited suicide and left deep scar in Sooyoung’s dad heart,

“So, where is he know?,” she asked.

“They couldn’t get married at that time because of his sister’s suicide, without telling your mom, he disappeared. So, your mother decided to raising you by herself,” he said.

“Raising me?, she wasn’t the one who raised me, her stylist’s family who took care of me,” she said, because she already know about it.

“Hmm..I bet at that time she really feel depressed,”

He said that Sooyoung’s dad became suspicious of him, his sister look fine that day, but why suddenly she commited suicide. His suspicions toward him became stronger after reading his sister’s diary that mention a lot about Sungjae’s dad. After that day, he decided to take revenge by doing all kind of things so Sungjae’s dad feel the same as him, loosing his family,

“Although I always apologize to him if his sister really died because of me, he never forgive me, until that day,” he stop then standing to walking near to window, “he did that to my son, who in that day waiting for me in the playground,” after heard that, Sooyoung looking at Sungjae’s dad,

“Are you saying that..?,” Sooyoung couldn’t continue her words,

“Hmm..he is the one who kidnapped both of you, at that time..he still didn’t know about you,” he said, after heard that Sooyoung close her eyes, “he got released after 5 years, and I always sent your picture to him, I think he really want to meet you,” he said, Sooyoung stand up and said,

“Where does he live, now?,” she said, after getting her dad’s current address, she leave the room, but before that, “it’ll be fine if I ask all about it to him, right?,” Sungjae’s dad responses it with nodding, “then..after that incident, did you forgive him for kidnapping your son?,” she asked.

“How could I forgive him, he left a scar inside my son’s heart. But I feel in pain too after seeing how miserable his life after knowing that he have done something bad to her own daughter who never meet him. I told him that I’ll forgive him someday, but not know..even after 11 years,” he said.

“Then, you must be unhappy after knowing that I get closer to your son, the daughter’s of the kidnapper now is your son’s girlfriend,” she said then she is crying, tears that she couldn’t held anymore,“then, after this hold his hand so he won’t come to me anymore,” she said then leave the room. Sungjae see her come out from the room so he runs to her, but she avoiding him, she is crying and he know that,

“Wait for me here,” he said then enter the room, Sooyoung is leaving the building to go to see her dad, Yerim see her leaving without her oppa so she calling him,

“What did you say to her?,” he asked to his dad, his dad walking to the door and lock it, “what are you doing, dad?,” he asked.

“I already told her that I couldn’t keep that promise,” he said, “but, I’ll keep another promise,” he is talking about holding his hand if he want go to Sooyoung. Then Sungjae’s phone ringing,

“Hmm, Yerim-ah,” he said, “what?, where is she going?,” he asked, Yerim doesn’t know about that but she’ll follow her, “open the door, dad,” he said.

“She said to me that I must hold your hand if you want to go to her,” he said, Sungjae can’t believe that, “you must think about your career too, you are starting to blooming, if….,” he couldn’t finished it,

“I couldn’t do the same thing as her mom who leave her because of her job, I’ll hold her hand because I know her pain, ” he said, still trying to open the door that block by his dad, “dad...,” he is shouting out loud.

While Sooyoung come to a hospital, that hospital is near her orphanage area. Before she enter the hospital, she close her eyes then enter the hospital, Yerim following her with Minhyuk car,

“Why she come to the hospital?, who is here?,” Yerim said then keep following her. Then Sooyoung stop in front of a room,

“I just want to know your face, that’s all,” he said then knocking the door, a woman open the door for her, it’s look like she know Sooyoung because she’s smiling after saw her face,

“Come in, he has been waiting for you since last year,” she said, Sooyoung come in with confused face, “he want to meet you, but he feel embarassed, so he was looking at you from the far,” there, she see a man lying down on the bed with breathing apparatus, “Soohong-ah, your daughter come,” she said, that man doesn’t move a bit although she called him,

“What’s wrong with him?,” Sooyoung asked.

“His condition becaming bad ever since he come out from prison, and now..he couldn’t move his body, even talking became hard,” she said, “you are waiting for her, right?,” then Sooyoung saw tears falling down on his face,

“Then..what should I call you?, you never come to me and introduce yourself as my dad, so I can’t call you by that for now. I want to hear all of the story from you, but why are you like this?,” she said then start crying, “I can see your face, I now know your face..but then I can’t talk to you, I can’t have conversation with you, then what should I do now?, I really want to talk to you, there are so many things that I want to know,” she is crying even harder, Yerim waiting outside the room, she heard al of the thing and start crying too. After 10 minutes, she wipes her tears then talk again,

“I’m doing okay until now, I didn’t looking for my family because I thought that they don’t want me to be with them, I’ll tell you everything about me, everything that happen to me in this past years, so you must do the same,” she said then leaving the room, but before that, “I’ll come again..,” she said, after heard that, Yerim runs far away from that room and she is calling her oppa,

“Oppa, I think she meet her dad, in the hospital,” she said,

“Why hospital?, why is he there?,” he asked.

“Because he is sick, he couldn’t walk, nor move his body. What should we do, oppa?, it’s really sad, why is her life like this?,” she asked, not long after that he end the call and ask his dad, he still there because his dad won’t let him to follow Sooyoung,

“Her dad, is he really sick right now?,” he asked, his dad nodding,

“I don’t really know the detail about that, but..yes, he is sick now and receiving treatment in a hospital.”

Sungjae ends the call and trying to call Sooyoung, but there is no response. While in hospital, Sooyoung walking through the corridor while leaning on the wall, Yerim still follow her from behind. The she start squatting because her body feel really weak, and crying again, Yerim runs to her and hug her from behind,

“Be strong, unnie,” she said, although she is surprised by her appearance, but now Sooyoung really need someone to hug her, so she just continue crying, “just cry,” she said.
