SHANNON'S POV

The whole place is turning dark again.

It's scary.

"Honey"

I turn around and saw Reumie with the kids from the dark.

I immediately go to her and give her a hug.

"Were you scared?" She asks.

"Not anymore coz you're here" I said while hugging her.

Then, I notice that the kid Eunjung unnie talked a while ago was crying silently while looking outside the window.

Areumie and I approach her.

"Hey, Jungyeon right?" I ask and she slowly turns to look at us.

"My Mommy" She said.

"Eunjung unnie promised to find your mommy right? Stop crying. I know she's somewhere out there looking for you" I said and wipe her tears.

"Wae? Where are this kid’s parents?" Areumie ask.

"I don't know. I just found her crying wandering around the woods" I said

"Heol. She must've lost. She's just a 1 year old baby if I'm not mistaken" Areumie said.

Eh?

This kid is one year old?

"Are you kidding me Reumie?" I ask.

"Nope. That's how sorcerers grow" she said.

No wonder I only have few baby pictures.

"Now let's close the window" Reumie said.

We are in charge of watching these kids.

We can't see what's going on inside and the monsters were slowly moving towards us but I can hear explosions from a far

We have to be prepared and be alert.

"Jungyeon. What power do you have?" I decided to ask this kid who seems to calm down a little bit.

She shook her head

Areum and I look at each other.

"I can't sense her powers" Areum said.

"Oh my gosh. Could she be a...."

I almost didn't finish my word.

She could be a mortal.

BORAM'S POV

"Ramie"

I saw Soyeon flying towards my direction.

I was up in the air looking at what's going on from a far.

"I'm worried that they would head to the mortal world. Is Jiyeon already awake?" I ask.

"Not yet. I think Qri give her too much" She said.

Qri have to make Jiyeon sleep or else she would drain all her powers to those black fire.

"What do you think is in there that she's willing to let her powers get drained just to put it out?" She ask.

"That's the only thing that only Jiyeon knows." I said.

But I'm really curious what's in there.

She wouldn't be rushing to that place and cry like that for no reason.

There must be something in there that is really important.

"Well, she will be really sad to see that place was already turned to ashes" Soyeon said.

"Yeah, but there's nothing she can do about it anymore." I said.

"By the way. Eunjung remembers" She said.

"She said Jiyeon keeps saying sorry to her before she got pushed. She said she didn't die but rather sealed inside the volcano" She said.

Sealed?

So Jiyeon sealed Eunjung in the volcano.

"I wonder why she would seal Eunjung there" Soyeon said.

"To remove the curse on Eunjung. It was the magic volcano that can melt down any kind of curse" I said.

I'm such a pabo!

Why that didn't cross my mind all this days?

Soyeon became speechless for a while.

"Heol...Jiyeon suffered alone all through this" She said.

"She did it for love" I said and she nodded.

I'm sorry unnie is not with you all this time Jiyeonnie.

"They're getting close. We must not let them near the palace" I said.

"Ramie if I die in this battle always remembers that I love you" She said.

"What are you saying?" I ask and raise an eyebrow to her.

"Tsk. Can you be a little sweeter?" She complains

"Don't die coz we're still gonna get married" I said to her before I lift the ground to create walls from here to the light kingdom

"Whoa. That was a hard work." I said and wipe my sweet on my forehead.

"Nice walls. Now I could create a hurricane behind those walls" she said and created a hurricane outside the walls that I made.

It doesn't help to kill the monsters but at least it does clear the fog.

I can clearly see three monsters in front of us.

What the hell is that?

The other blows fog which is poisonous for sure. I don't know what does it looks like coz it's surrounded by fog.

The other one had long tentacles that goes everywhere and I think it's produces electric volts.

The other one behind them looks like a huge tree that turns to life and Yoona was in there.

I don't know what does the tree can do.

Then, suddenly small versions of the trees appears from the ground

Oh I guess I know now what this tree can do.

"Let's end this fast so we could get married" Soyeon said and wink at me.

I just shook my head and attack with her.

Good thing there's none of these monsters fly.

"Sso. Why they're only three?" I ask.

I know that there's a lot of monsters from the underworld.

"I don't know either." she said.

We've been fighting these little trees to get near Yoona for minutes but they just keep multiplying

"Why I can't feel Yoona's power?" I ask.

"I can't feel it too" Soyeon said.

Is she powerless?

We left the other half-bloods and pure bloods in the Dark Kingdom to go to the Light.

We need plans to stop this.

HYOMIN'S POV

This is the scariest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

Those small walking dreadful tree looking monsters were trying to pass the walls created by Boram unnie.

Damn I badly wanted to help.

I'm here right now in Jiyeon's room watching through the window.

She's still asleep.

We need her now.

It's such a wrong timing for everyone.

Ouch.

I hold in my head as scenes playing in my head.

What is that?

I saw marching groups of monsters.

They're heading to the border to cross.

They're heading to the mortal world too.

That scene in my head stops and then another one plays in my head.

It's the chamber where we find the sleeping pure bloods.

I could still see them there.

Wait....

This is not the future.

It's a flashback

I saw Yoona doing something.

There's a light connecting her and Jiyeon's parents.

The light disappears and now I could sense that Yoona have someone else inside her body.

How is that possible?

Then, that strong power disappears.

Yoona seems powerless now.

That's everything I saw.

So when that someone inside her who absorbs the power of Jiyeon's parents and I think it absorbs her power too was sleeping inside her Yoona was powerless but if it's awake?

Oh my gosh.

I have to warn the others.

I immediately fly outside the window and approach Kyul and Eunjung.

"Yah! Minnie I told you to stay inside" Kyul immediately scolded me.

"But it was important. I saw something" I said.

"You saw something?" Soyeon unnie asks.

She arrives with Boram unnie.

Boram unnie make the walls a little higher.

"What did you saw Hyo?" Eunjung unnie ask.

"I saw that there are more monsters marching towards the boarder than in here" I said.

"What?!" They're surprise.

"No wonder there's only three of them in here" Boram unnie said.

"Let's divide our forces" Eunjung unnie suggested.

"We can't do that Eunjung. We only have enough here to protect the two kingdom or I think this is not yet enough. The other pure bloods were still unconscious we can't leave this place and save mortals" Soyeon unnie said.<
