Chapter 3
Death and Destined DeathUsual mornings were full of laughter and jokes. Hugs and kisses. Future plans and past reminiscences. This morning was slightly different.
The usually hyped and cheerful Yoon Bora finished her breakfast in silence.
As she picked up her mug and struggled to the sink, protecting her tummy with one hand, Howon quickly went up to her and took the mug away, "Yah! I will do it! You better rest more!"
She nodded and turned around, ready to walk away when he s an arm protectively around her tummy.
"The bump shows..." He whispered in her ear from behind to which she only replied with a hum. As she broke free and proceeded towards their bedroom, Hoya called out, "Yoon Bora!"
She stopped, as he walked to in front of her and cupped her cheeks, smiling warmly, "I only want you to know that whatever I am doing now, is for a cause. If you, or anyone else was in my place, they would do the same."
"Why...?" Bora meekly whispered, as if she was pleading for an answer.
"Because it involves our baby."
She smiled, "Okay then, and thank you. "

She smiled once again, but then she started closing her eyes. Probably in exhaustion.
"B-bora?" Howon stuttered as he stopped her from collapsing and held her in his arms. Is this because of her disease?! And then she let out a cry as she pressed onto her stomach, and she continued crying in pain. Unable to think, Howon hugged her, "Calm down."

The family was anxious, and tensed. Bora's mother was wailing.
But most of all, it was Howon who was shattered. What if something bad happened to her? Is she going to be alright alone in the operation theatre? She had no idea of what had happened to her! Would the baby be alright? What if... her disease striked in the operation theatre?!
Howon jolted upright and ran to the operation theatre, confusing the family members.
Panting, he banged his fist on the operation theatre's door repeatedly, as he cried out Bora's name.
"Bora! Bora-ya don't die! Listen to me Bora! Hang in there with her! Or him!"
When there was no answer or whatsoever, he banged harder on the door, and harder until the door broke open.
"Oh my, Mr. Lee! Please stay outside! " The doctor yelled.
"Bora!" He shouted upon seeing his half - conscious wife.
"Are you alright, honey?" He asked as he held her weak hand in his.
"Yah... do I seem alright..?" She mumbled painfully, yet she managed to make them chuckle.
