Words are really scary. They have an unbelievable effect. The words can change everything. people say words are more powerful than guns. And I think they are right.

And one of the most scary quality of them, is that you can’t find good once when you really need it.

So here I am. Being mute on very first breakfast we have together.

I’m not a talkative person and never good in words. But now I do really need something to say. I need to cheer this girl whom I swear never someone gloomier than her in my life time. Is there even anything to make her feel good. She just found about her mother’s death last night. Should I leave her alone for a while?

In the other side I’m still thinking about that necklace. Eunjung didn’t know about that. Where that came from? It’s just so silly to believe that necklace suddenly appeared from nowhere. We are not living I fairy tale. But how can explain it? the only answer Is that Eunjung is playing with me.

Maybe she is a homeless girl that tries to buy my pity and live here? or is a psycho.

No way. I bet on my life that her eyes don’t lie to me. She is so pure.

“Qri.” She cut my words. “I know you’re trying to cheer me but don’t. Your words were so comforting last night. They warmed my heart. That’s enough. You don’t need to do more.”

Her head was still low. I need to see her face.

My words. The words that I don’t know what I thought about when told them. I said that will be with her, that I don’t leave her. But do I? she believes my words but do I believe them too?

I don’t know myself anymore. Every step I take is out of my control. so maybe I need to stop thinking and just let my feet to take me where my unknown feelings want. Something that is really out of my style.

“Want me to stay home? I can take a day off.” I offered her since I think she may need some one around.

“Thanks but I need to be alone.” Still she avoids looking at me and it bothered me.

“Ok. call me if you need anything.” I rose from my seat frustrated and grabbed my bag. “Bye.” I was about to leave when a pair of hands circled around my waist and stopped me.

She placed her chin on my shoulder. “Thank you. So much…Qri.”

Qri. Qri…Qri.. her sweet voice echoed to my head. How she can say my name this beautifully?

She tightened the back hug and I felt blood rash in my face. My cheeks were burning and my fingertips were numb.

I hate it when people touch me without my permission but this sudden and unpermitted hug… I like it.

I felt like being wrapped in a thick blanket in cold weather. Like being in a stony house when there is storm outside. So warm, so safe.

I raised my hand to touch hers, but before I could reach she broke the hug.

“You may be late.”

It’s gone. The thick blanket fell off my shoulders but the warmth was lingers in me.

It was all I could say before storm out of house. I got on my car with my highest speed and let out my breath that I held.

Seeing my pink shaded cheeks in mirror I sighed. “You are unbelievable Lee Qri.”

I was angry at my own for acting weirdly but I don’t know why lips extremely wanted to smile.

The ringtone sound prevented me from scolding myself.
