Her eyes“Is it that much serious?”
I grabbed my coat and shrugged my shoulders. “I don’t know.”
She held my arms gently and smiled warmly. “Hey, what’s this face? It’s so normal. She is a young girl, any young girl would have some fight with her parent in this age. Don’t worry too much. Ok?”
I stepped closer and rest my head on her chest. “Thank you, Hyomin.”
She wrapped her arms around me and left a soft kiss on my hair. “I’m always here for you Qri.”
“Thanks.” I broke the hug. “I gotta go.”
“Drive safely.”
“Ok.” I rush out of her apartment and got in my car. Turning on the engine I pressed my feet on speed pedal.
I remembered what Hyomin said me. Normal? How much I wish it was just a normal fight a young girl and her mother, but it’s not. Nothing is normal about my sister or to say it better she is a normal girl but an abnormal sister. It’s not a simple rebel of a girl whom wants to defend her freedom. It’s a silence war she began years ago to show how much she hates me. Wish I knew why. What have I done to be deserved being hated by my sister?
Why she always keep distance from me?
She always refused to attend the same school with me. She never asked me to help her in her lessons. She never let me across the line she putted up between us.
I thought I would get used to it. But this never happened. Nothing could fill her empty that saved for her in my life.
I parked my car in front of the gate and got off. Before I could press the ring the door opened.
“Qri…You come?”
Her eyes… were sad. And I hate it. she was the person in my life that want to smile every day. But how can she smile when her daughters treat each other like strangers.
“How you found?” I pulled my lips in smile.
“I heard your car sound. Come in.”
I followed her in house. “Where is she?”
She lowered her head. “She is packing her cloth in her room.”
I patted her back. “Ok. I’ll talk to her.”
Hope. It was all I could see in her eyes. She tried many years to bring us close but she never succeeded. Poor her.
I knocked door but when I got no response from her I opened the door and walked in.
She just looked at me for a sec then got back on packing on. “who let you come in?”
Such a warm greeting from my dear sister. Although I expect it.
“What are you doing?” I ignored her question.
“Can’t you see?”
“I see. But I don’t know the meaning behind it.”
She smirked. “Mommy didn’t tell you?”
I’m going crazy. She is so strong headed.
“Jiyeon, why you do this? can’t you see how sad Mommy is? What’s all of this for?”
She threw the t-shirt on bed and darted her fierce look on m
