Two
Her eyesHeadache, headache , a so damn headache.
It was all I feel all day. I won’t drink again. Never ever.
I sighed as putted the pen aside and leaned my head on my desk.
“Qri-Sshi…Qri-Sshi.”
I stared up upon hear my co-worker is calling me. “Yes?”
“Your cellphone.”
I glanced on it. gosh, why I didn’t hear its ringtone.
A smile appeared on my tired face as see my girlfriend’s name as caller. “Hello.”
“Hi, baby. Are you at work?”
“Yeah. What about you?”
“I’m home.”
“Really? Why you didn’t tell me you will come today.”
“It just happened. I miss you baby. Can you come here after work?”
I looked at clock. “I still have 1 hour to work. I’ll come after that.”
“Ok. I’m waiting for you.”
“Hi, baby.” She pulled me into a warm hug as soon as opened the door.
“Don’t you want to let me in?” I said teasingly.
She broke the hug. And I walked in. she held my hand and headed me to living room.
“Did you miss me?”
I sat on couch and she left to kitchen. “Of course.”
“That’s why you hanged out with your friends and get drunk?”
I pouted at her remark.
She came out of kitchen with two juice. She placed one before me.
“Boram invited me.”
“I make a joke.” She wrapped her arm around my shoulder. “I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept thinking wish I was there to take care of you.” She kissed my forehead. I leaned my head on her chest.
Memories of last night displayed in my mind.
That girl…
She stand by my side till I fell sleep. But she wasn’t real, was she?
“Hey, let’s have dinner out.”
I came back to myself as Hyomin suddenly commented. “Good idea.”
“So let’s go.” She stood up.
I waved a hand to Hyomin as walked in my house. I heard the sound of her car, getting away from my house.
I went to kitchen straight since I was so thirsty. I was pouring my glass when…
“Good night.”
I jumped in my spot. Rapidly I took a knife and turned back. I surprised to see her again.
“Y-Y-You?”
She looked shock too.
So she wasn’t just a delusion? She is real?
“How you get in my house?”
She smiled tiredly. “I was in.”
“What?” I lifted the knife. “What do you want? Who are you?”
“Please put that knife aside.”
“I won’t till you say who the are you and how you get in my house.” I shouted.
“I will. But it’s hard to talk when someone is pointing a knife to you.”
“I can’t trust you.”
“I won’t hurt you. I’m not a bad person.”
“How can I be sure?”
“Because I didn’t hurt you when I had chance to. I was here last night, remember? If I was a thief or murderer wasn’t that best time to do what I wanted?”
I think. She is right. She is ing right. I should be a dumb person to believing a stranger whom I don’t even know her name, but once again I trusted her. and I have no idea why I did.
“Ok.” I putted the knife on cabinet and pointed to dining table. “Sit.”
“Thanks.” She said as pulled back a chair and sat. “Don’t you sit?”
I leaned my back on cabinet
