Chapter 6: Hello Earth

It can't be. It can't be him.

Jade closed her eyes and felt a tug. It's the portal pulling her back in.

Slowly, she open her eyes and saw no one there at all. She shook her head and went to the portal, carrying all her bags, not noticing another book was added inside of it.

I must be hallucinating

After minutes feel like hours have passed, she arrive at someplace where everything is white and cold but dark.

The wind blew hard as she clutch the hood of her coat. There are white thing falling that made her reach out and let one fall on her wide open hand.

It's like a star falling on her hand. Like a cold crystal landed on her warm palm with silent almost innocent movement. It's soft, not like she imagine it is

So this is a snow? It's like a frozen star. Did they do this beautiful thing? Do human have powers too?

But then, she remembered what Hyerin said about herself, two days ago

"I thought, I was like them. Completely ordinary and have a simple life. Yet, Destiny has its own cards for me. I found out I have powers like every other Exopian. Not a simple human with typical life, but a creature who have different nature. Not an Earthling without supernatural powers but an Exopian with two different but still the same Exia"

Humans don't have powers like them; she thought.

"Then, how do they have this kind of things here?" She muttered to herself, wondering. Once again, the gust of wind enliven that Jade thinks the temperature dropped a degree. Shaking off the 'frozen star', she inhaled exhaled, gripped her bags and grasp her dark blue coat

She thought as she step forward and walk calmly, enduring the freezing wind blowing in her way

"Hyung I want to go home" A man with blond hair whine at his friend and stomped his feet

"Just little bit more, Sehunnie" With soothing manly voice, He sang a soft tune and the maknae's fluffly hair. That made him drowsier

"Yes, yes One last pose. Kai smirk a little and lean a little to Minyoung. D.O and Sehun stop cuddling and change into these. Then, surround her and look at Minyoung with so much fondness" The three boys scowl at the photographer but do it anyway. Minyoung was grinning from ear to ear at the photographer. Her plan is going smoothly.

Not when someone barge in loudly with angry huffs 

"Who told you to perform this kind of photoshoot?" His gruff voice echoed arround the silence room. No more clicking sound nor obnoxious gossiping staff. Just a hushed breath

"Kai, Sehun, D.O. Get into the car right now. I have some matters to clear up" He said through gritted teeth without glancing at expressionless boys. They nod, quickly change into normal clothes and quietly strided to the door, not before smirking at the shaken photographer and Minyoung.

They knew something wrong from the very start. The sudden contract about a photoshoot from an unknown company, their manager not answering their calls and the fake signature of their manager. They knew these kind of tactics but instead of refusing, they agreed and let their manager throw all the profanities he know to the staffs.

Their manager, Mr. Seo, never blame the boys because it's the media who do all the poor schemes to get Exo, the fame and all.

"Finally. I've been itching to yell at that woman for staying close. Disgusting leech" A tan color male, known as Kai, release a frustrated sound and ruffle his hair. No one bothers to scold him because for what he said is true

Being the calmest, D.O or Kyungsoo fix his hair and hummed a mellow tune while Sehun was clinging on to him like a koala. The three went to the car and waited to their manager that will arriving in five...four...thr--

The door slammed open and the boys sigh. He arrived quicker than they thought

"Are you guys alright? Ah. No scratches. Okay, okay. Guys. You should avoid those people. Those guys--They're paparazzi! And that girl! She's a sasaeng and in her forties--"

"Yeah. We know" The boys answered in unison. Mr. Seo gaped at them.

"What?"

"We suspect from the beginning. They request for all of the Exo members yet only three of us attend and they didn't even get mad. What a bunch of walking coconuts" Kai snorted and play with his phone

"Our conclusion got more strong when we can't contact you to talk about this matter and I saw your phone just infront of one of the staffs's bag." Kyungsoo muttered with composed voice, closing his eyes.

"Then they even send us the paper with your fake signature. Would you look at that, They got your signature but sorry, I copied once your signature so I know every detail of it---" Sehun clamped his mouth with his hands from saying so much. But instead of getting angry, Their manager laugh

"That's my boys" He grinned, revealing his rows of white teeth.

Out of the blue, Mr. Seo's phone rang that made them all jump

"Yeoboseoyo?... Eh? What are you doing there?...Now? But I'm with the boys---Ah yes. yes. Yeobo~ I love you so much---Yeobo?" Mr. Seo sigh and look at the boys with apologetic smile
