The demon smiled and it was unfair. It was one of those smiles. Seemingly genuine that flashed bright white teeth and crinkled the corners of his eyes. Except his incisors were pointed, almost like fangs, and his eyes were amber. He really was beautiful, dark hair that was styled up, creamy tan skin and perfectly symmetrical face. A stone glittered from his right ear, a piercing.

"Hello," he greeted us nicely enough but his smile took a more wicked turn as our eyes met. "Scarlett," the class one demon raised an eyebrow as if delighted by the use of my name.

I didn't want to know how he knew my name so I turned to look at Susie. She stepped inside followed by another male demon of similar beauty. The class two demon was slightly taller with dirty blond hair he wore brushed out over his eyes, his clear skin a few shades lighter than . He looked quieter, than the other demon, reserved and shut off but equally beautiful.

Susie looked tiny in comparison to the two demons who towered over her. They easily beat Lissa for height and no matter how tough Susie appeared I could tell she was intimidated.

"Susie, what the hell?" Lissa asked, stepping forward. Susie held a hand up, sighing loudly and letting me know she wasn't much happier than Lissa about the two male demons.

"Get inside the kitchen," Susie says tiredly, and amuses me by herding the two tall demons towards the entrance of the kitchen, "I'll explain everything."

I'm the last to enter the kitchen, following right after Lissa so I take the last available spot around the metal table where Susie usually puts together the meals. Across from the demon with dark hair, the class one demon. He smiled at me again, but I swung my gaze over to where Susie stood.
