“No. No no no no. Nah-uh I didn’t agree to this.” Jungkook was backing away slowly. “I didn’t agree to any kind of sneaking.” He was shaking his head like that would convince the two troublemaker hyungs in front of him.

“Jungkookie there is no other way. Besides, sneaking in is very easy. Trust me, we used to do it all the time.” Taehyung said plopping himself down on the couch.

“No way. I don’t wanna get caught sneaking into a place which I shouldn’t even know of in the first place.” Jungkook sighed. “Wait!” He suddenly lifted his head “What would they do to you if we get caught?” Jungkook asked his voice rising in pitch. “What would they do to me?” He asked horrified.

“Oh! They’ll probably make you forget or something like that.” Tae said waving his hand around like it was no big of a deal. “I don’t know, nothing like that happened before.”

Jungkook whimpered. “Great! I am a guinea pig for this experiment then.”

Jimin laughed. “Kookie don’t be afraid. Nothing will happen.” He patted Jungkook-who was now sitting on the couch-on the shoulder.

“Who said anything about being afraid?” Jungkook sat up straight.

“Whatever you say Jungkookie.” Jimin chuckled.

Jimin and Tae were getting ready for the teleportation spell while Jungkook was sitting with Jin who was Taehyung’s older brother. He was supposed to perform a masking spell on Jungkook but every time he tried to get near Jungkook would become tense. He couldn’t help it, he has always been the kind of person to plan ahead and going into things knowing their consequences so this spell; of which he knew nothing of was making him tense despite Jin’s efforts to calm him down. He was human he had no idea how magic worked and what its effect would be on him or if there would be any side effects. See? His knowledge about this was zilch.   

“Relax Jungkookie.” Jin said for the nth time. “It’s just a simple spell, it will only mask your scent which label you as a human from witches.”

“Hyung I know. I just…..” Jungkook trailed off, he was just feeling so helpless. He didn’t want to be so tense and rigid, it’s just his body which was not cooperating. No matter how hard he tried to relax his body was just not being helpful.

“It’s okay. We’ll think of something.” Jin said rubbing his chin already deep in thought.

“How is the spell coming along?” Jimin poked his head into the living room. “Jimin!” Jin suddenly yelled making Jimin jump. “Come here.”

“I think this would work. No I believe this would.” Jin was saying to himself. Jungkook was looking at him unsure. “What would?” Jimin asked crossing his arms.

“Okay you!” He said pointing at Jungkook “Close your eyes. And you!” He pointed at Jimin.

“Talk to him.”

“What?” They both asked together then turned to look at each other.

“We don’t have whole day just do as I say.” Jin huffed.

Jungkook turned to look at Jimin his eyes wide open even bigger than before.

“JK I told you to close your eyes not open them. Aish! You youngsters never listen clearly to instructions.” Jin said in a single breath.

Jimin and Jungkook who were both surprised at the unexpected outburst blinked twice before bursting out into loud boisterous laughter. “Hyung!” Jimin squeaked.

After calming down to an extent, they did what was asked of them. While Jimin was busy talking to Jungkook about school and just stuff in general, Jin quickly took Jungkook’s hands in his and began to mask his scent.

Jungkook was so distracted by the sound of Jimin’s voice he didn’t notice when Jin took his hands, all he felt was tingle ran through his body and then nothing.

“You’re done. You can open your eyes now.” Jin said. It was then that he noticed how quite it was and that Jimin has stopped talking.

He opened his eyes but he didn’t feel any different so he voiced as much.

Jin chuckled. “You won’t be able to JK. It’s us that feel the difference and let tell me tell you something, you don’t smell like a human to me. What about you Jiminie?”

Jimin smiled. “Neither to me.”

Jungkook sighed and then sinked into the couch. “You okay?” Jimin asked Jungkook nodded. It seemed that’s all he has been doing lately.

“So JK, Jiminie and Taehyungie will hug you at the same time to rub their scent off on you. That way if anyone happened to pass by, they wouldn’t pick anything weird. It’s just for precaution.” Jin said guiding the three maknaes.

At Jungkook’s nod both Jimin and Tae hugged him for a minute straight. Jungkook could feel Jimin’s nose touch his neck and he almost let out a moan. Almost. He couldn’t help it he was really sensitive there. He shuddered imagining the awkwardness that would ensue following that.

No sooner had the both of them let him go that Jin was upon them.

“Only one thing left to do. Are you going to open the teleportation portal to my place or the city?” Jin asked directing his question to Jimin.

“The city, I think. I have no idea where Joonie hyung would be at this time. Do you?” Jimin asked Jin but knowing Namjoon, Jimin was sure he didn’t either.

“Nope.” Jin sighed. “But I think the Archive Gem would be a good place to start since he does spend most of his time there. I think it would be better than to teleport to the city, that way you don’t have to hide JK with invisibility spell.” Jin said throwing his suggestion out there but he knew what he said was too good to pass.

“Jinnie hyung that’s a great idea.” Jimin hugged Jin smiling widely.

Taehyung laughed. “Who knew you could come up with something like that? Having wisdom witch as a boyfriend does wonders to your IQ I tell you.”

Jin smacked his brother though he was laughing as well. “Shut up smartass.”

“Namjoom hyung is Jin hyung’s boyfriend.” Jimin explained to Jungkook.

“I gathered.” Jungkook chuckled. He felt right at home with the three witches that had somehow become a part of his life.

They were currently standing in a room which Tae defined as their ‘Training Room’ where they practiced and project spells. It was also the only room wide enough to perform teleportation circle for portals.

 Before starting the spell Jimin cupped Jungkook’s cheeks in both of his hands and looked into his eyes. Jungkook could see the sincerity shining and he could feel himself relaxing. “Don’t worry we’ll be right there by your side.” Jungkook nodded.

Jimin walked towards Tae and Jungkook watched as they stood in front of each other and held hands. Their eyes were closed and they were murmuring something under their breaths.   

“Illuminate the path”

They both said out loud. As soon as the words left their mouth golden glittery smoke appeared around their feet and took form of a circle. The circle was rotating and soon they were both about a few inches in the air with the glittery smoke still around their feet.

Jungkook was watching them in awe. He has never seen such a thing in his life, not even in movies.

They both opened their eyes.

“Let the portal be opened.” Jimin said.

“Let Gemlight be reached.” Taehyung said.

The smoke started receding and their feet touched the ground. There on the floor was a golden circle of powdered gold. Jin motioned Jungkook to join them inside the circle.

“Don’t touch the circle JK. Just step inside it. I’ll see you guys on the other side.”

Jungkook stepped inside, being careful of the golden band. Jimin and Tae both lifted their linked hands gesturing Jungkook to step in between them. So he did.

When Jungkook was in between their bodies they both said. “NOW!”

Jungkook could see the circle lifting from the ground and rotating. He saw themselves surrounded by golden dust and then the feeling of being airborne. He felt when his feet touched the ground and opened his eyes, which he didn’t realize he closed in the first place.

Through the disintegrating golden smoke, he saw that they were no longer in the spacious room they were in but surrounded by…books? Upon inspecting closer he realized they were in some sort of library but it was so different than any he had ever seen. It was quite deserted to be honest but also it was rather clean and dust free. Also there was this really fruity smell around them which he never ever expected to smell in a library before. A perfume shop? Sure. A flower shop? Definitely. But a library? Never.

Besides all that, the bookshelves were golden. Wait! Is that real gold? And the books they were kept in so much better condition than his own. Some books were even chained in heavy chains.

He has no idea why that would be.

“Home sweet home.” Beside him Jimin murmurs. Jungkook turned towards him and saw such a sweet smile adoring his features that it made his chest hurt in longing.

“We are in Gemlight right?” Jungkook questioned.

“Yes!” Taehyung squealed. “This is Archive Gem, Jungkookie. This place has every book ever written, every information and record that ever existed about witches. Namjoon hyung is the guardian of this place. He is also one of the guardians of Lavender stone hence a member of council. This place is Joonie hyung’s sanctuary. He is here most of the time.” “Shall we look for him then?” Jimin chuckled.

“Who are you looking for?” Suddenly a voice said from above them.

Jungkook looked up and saw a man sporting purple hair, his features schooled in that of indifference wearing what look like quite trendy clothes leaning on the railing that is quite probably the second level of the archive. He looked quite handsome in Jungkook’s opinion. Do all the witches look like models?

“Joonie hyung!” Tae shouted. 

“Don’t shout Tae.” Namjoon winced. “And I see you’ve brought that troublesome friend of yours.”

“Hey!” Jimin protested.

Namjoon waved his hand like it wasn’t important. “Come on up.”

When they reached up Taehyung ran ahead and hugged Namjoon. “Nice seeing you hyung. How have you been?”

Namjoon laughed. “Good. How are you brat? And how’s training going?” He patted Tae on the head.

“Ah! Training’s kicking my and when I am finally stable it kicks me in the again.”

Taehyung whined clinging to Namjoon’s arm.

Namjoon laughed out loud at that making his dimples appear.

Namjoon turned to hug Jimin. “Hey midget! What about you? Dyeing anybody else’s hair lately?”

“I am not a midget!” Jimin pouted returning the hug. “And no, you were enough.”

Jungkook could see the amusement shining in Namjoon’s eyes. He could see that Namjoon enjoyed teasing Jimin and he most definitely doesn’t hate Jimin like what Jimin told him.

“What did I miss?” A new voice said and soon after Jin was walking towards them. Jungkook could see the heart eyes Namjoon was directing at Jin.

“Don’t be gross you two.” Taehyung suddenly said before they could even hug or touch.

Jin huffed a ‘fine’ and winked at Namjoon who chuckled. Jungkook could see that they were very much in love with each other.

“What brings you guys here?” Namjoon asked. “Not that I don’t like it, it’s just you both avoid the archive at all cost.” He said pointing at 95z. Tae poked his tongue in answer.

“Joonie, you see Jimin and JK-” Jin said pointing at Jungkook “-have some questions they need answers for and this child-” he said pointing at Tae “-tagged along just because.”

“Hey! I didn’t just tagged along, my best friend my platonic soulmate is somehow linked to a human of all people- no offence Jungkookie-” Tae said looking at Jungkook “-obviously I am going-”

“Wait what? A human?” Namjoon suddenly interrupted.

“Don’t tell me Joon you didn’t notice JK here is a human?” Jin asked looking at Namjoon with a weird face. “Oh my God…You never miss anything.”

“I-I..” Namjoon was at a loss for words. “How were you able to sneak him in?” “Easy. Masked his scent and blurred it with ours.” Tae said indifferent.

“What? You could get in so much trouble brat if anybody found out.” “But nobody will know, right hyung?” Jimin asked hopefully.

Namjoon regarded Jimin and then sighed. “No they wouldn’t.”

 “So what do you wanna ask?” Namjoon asked now looking at Jungkook.

“Hyung, me and Jungkook both have been dreaming about each other for a long time and Jin hyung helped us figure that it wasn’t a precog so why? He thought you could help us with that.” Jimin answered.

“Can I look at those dreams?” Namjoon asked Jimin.

Jimin contemplated and then agreed. “Yeah sure.”

Both Namjoon and Jimin closed their eyes. “Jimin just think about those dreams.” He instructed.

Jungkook nudged Tae. “What are they doing?”

“Joonie hyung is reading his mind to get a better grasp on those dreams I guess.” Tae shrugged.

He can read minds Jungkook thought in awe.

“Yes I can.” Namjoon said answering his unspoken thought. He regarded Jungkook and then said.

“I can’t read your mind though. I can catch a thought or two when you are shouting in your head but other than that nothing.” He sighed.

“Why is that?” Jimin asked. “I mean, we learned how to block our thoughts because you taught us how to. But Jungkookie?” They all turned to look at Jungkook like they were expecting him to answer that.

Jungkook fidgeted. “Uh..I..uhm…” Jungkook sighed. “I uh always have been kind of reserved? I don’t have many friends and I am not social. I have always been kinda closed off? I mean that’s what Hobi hyung tells me. I don’t know.”

“Oh!” Namjoon said like he got the answers. “You are a Block.”

“I am a what?” Jungkook asked confusion evident. He saw his expression mirrored on the other three witches.

“A block. It means you have your emotions and your thought shielded from others.  Since you are a private and closed off person, your mind became like that.” Namjoon answered satisfied.

The others nodded in understanding. “So how are you going to see his dreams Joon?” Jin asked.

“I can still try to read his mind that is if he allows me to.” Namjoon said looking at Jungkook.

“How…I don’t know how to..” Jungkook looked at Namjoon with a deer in headlights expression.

Namjoon chuckled. “Don’t worry kid, just do as I say.”

Jungkook nodded. “Okay Jungkookie close your eyes and think of what you saw.” Jungkook did as he was told.

“Are you thinking?” At Jungkook’s hum Namjoon continued. “Think you are pushing your thoughts at me……slowly Jungkook…yes just like that…. okay Jungkook you see any opening in that translucent screen….no don’t stretch it don’t do anything to it….okay good…now push your dream through that opening slowly…yeah you are doing good….okay I see it……” After some time Namjoon opened his eyes.

“Oh boy!” He looked at Jungkook. “Jungkook saw more than you Jimin, he has answers to some of your questions. But I think we need to sit down for that. Let go to the conference room.”

As everyone turned to go Namjoon stepped beside Jungkook. “You block really well. Even though there was an opening you forged and I could wiggle there I couldn’t read your thoughts when you were showing me the dreams. You only show what you wanna show Jungkook.” He patted Jungkook on the back.

Jungkook couldn’t help but smile, it seemed he just got complimented and from a wisdom witch at that.

“Okay so let’s get started.” Namjoon said as soon as they settled down on the chairs. “Recap, so both of you dreamt of each other throughout your childhood right?”

They both hummed. “Jimin you saw yourself jump off a cliff but you don’t know why. You think it was for Jungkook though. Correct?” “Correct.” Jimin said.

“Wait! You don’t know why you jumped?” Jungkook asked shocked. “No. Do you?” Jimin asked confusion seeping into his words.

“He does. That’s what we are getting to. Jungkook at age 18 you saw some guards and a woman forcing Jimin to jump off a cliff. Since it was either you or him Jiminie here, jumped. Right?” Namjoon questioned.

At Jungkook’s nod Namjoon continued. “Jimin you have been asking why you jumped it was because you loved Jungkook. You two were lovers.”

“WHAT?” Jimin suddenly stood up. “How is that possible. Hyung! You know that is not possible.” Jimin said his voice rising in pitch.

“Sit down Jimin, let me complete.” At Namjoon’s demanding tone Jimin sat back down sharing a look with Tae. What anyone failed to notice was the hurt look that quickly passed on Jungkook’s face.

“Hyung?” Jungkook voiced out in a small voice.

“Hmm?” Namjoon told him to go on.

“Are these dreams memories or is this the future after all?” Jungkook asked and chanced a look at Jimin who upon hearing the question turned to look at Jungkook so fast that Jungkook feared for the state of his neck.

Namjoon sighed thinking I knew this question was coming

 “Before I answer that let me ask you both something.” He fixed both them with a look. “Are you both in love with each other?”

Jimin stood up again. “Hyung! No. You know it’s not possible.”

Jungkook though was in his own world thinking Love? No, I don’t think so. At least not yet.  Because you can’t fall for someone you don’t know right? But there is this teeny tiny crush though.

‘It better stay only a crush then Jungkookie.’

Jungkook jerked back out of his thoughts hearing that voice in his head. He looked at Namjoon.

‘You were thinking quite loud that’s why I could hear you. Your hearing my voice because I am allowing you to.’

Why? Jungkook tried to shout in his brain.

“Don’t shout. Just speak louder than you normally do and I’ll hear you. Why as in why am I allowing you to hear you?’

 No. Why as in why not love?

‘Ask it out loud’

What?

Jungkook looked at Namjoon who nodded at him but before he could voice it out Jimin said

“Joonie hyung, you know its forbidden.”

Jungkook went still. “It’s forbidden?” went past his lips without him knowing, “Yes it is.” All four witched answered in unison.

“Why?” Jungkook couldn’t help but ask.

The witches and the human turned to look at Namjoon.  

“I don’t know how much you guys know but for Jungkook’s sake I’ll start from the beginning.” Namjoon stated. When no one objected he continued. “Many and by that I mean many many centuries ago witches and human lived in peace with each other. Witches used to live in a village near a human kingdom-nobody know where though-humans used to come to witches all the time for spells be it for prosperity or conception. Witches used to help them and in turn humans would give them food, gold coins or really anything they could. Everything was going fine until one day some of the humans sneaked into the Witch Town to have their way with the young witches they have been eyeing for quite some time. The witches though were young but were quite skillful they cast their spells and turned two of the hooligans into stones. Seeing that the others escaped.

“When the next morning came around the witches went to the kingdom demanding justice. But those thugs have already spread a false story of how they got lost and witches attacked them. No one believed the witches and drove them away. With time less and less people started coming to Witch Town fearing they would attack them too.

“A few months went by and nothing happened, but then a drought took hold of the kingdom. Witches’ part of the town was fine due to their powers but it led the people to believe that witches cursed them and they came to the Witch Town bearing torches to burn us down. Witches were cornered in the Leaders house, it was cramped and dark.

“Time was running out for us, we needed to escape. There was no way out. Few witches went out to buy those inside some time to escape. Our 5 leaders, one for each core power they joined their powers and created a powerful spell. A spell; which created this realm and opened the first portal to ever be opened. That is what we called shift, when witches left human world and came to Gemlight but unfortunately, our leaders lost their lives due to the powerful spell but their spirits, they live. They are what we called our Elders.

“Witches stayed here for many centuries without going to the human realm. But then few who did they came back more controlled and somewhat powerful since the human world lacks in magical energy, the witches learned to do more with limited amount. So when they get access to more they are in control and powerful. It was because of this the 2 year training program started and with that the witches once again started going in and out of human world. Up till then it was fine to fall for a human, to marry and start a family with.

“But few centuries later that’s when everything went downhill. You know about the

Azurewitches?” Namjoon for the first time since starting the story turned to look at them.

Jungkook who was immersed in the story, realizing the question was directed to him answered. “Yeah. Jiminie hyung told me that it was the old name for channelors and that the Azure stone disappeared.”

“Hmm. Seems like this midget is not completely useless.” Namjoon chuckled

“I am not a midget.” Jimin whined.

Namjoon laughed. “Whatever you say shorty.”  Making Jimin huff.

“Back to the story. You were told that the Azure stone disappeared without trace but there is a reason behind it which was never spoken of. The stones they not just mere stones, they are living energies so they choose their guardians themselves. One such Azure stone guardian was Park Minji. She was a really promising individual chosen at quite a young age. After she was chosen she went to the human realm for training and there she met a human boy. She fell for him hard and fast and that’s where the trouble began. The matters of love they cannot be controlled. Minji she fell for the boy but he didn’t. He broke up with her and it broke her heart. She tried to be strong but she couldn’t. She isolated herself from her people and then when it got unbearable she jumped off that same cliff that you both saw in your dream. She committed suicide.

“The stone felt betrayed and disappeared, to never be seen again. When the council which was under the control of Noir stone Guardian who was a shield witch, went to human realm to investigate they came to know of this.

They pinned the blame on human realm instead of Park Minji for the disappearance. The matter of Minji was hushed and nothing was revealed of how the stone disappeared. The witches were forbidden to fall for humans but they never said anything about pursuing relationships. This is where another tragedy struck.

“A witch and a human they started dating and unknowingly fell in love. The punishment was severe; the witch was to be stripped of the power. But the witch; he was okay with it as long he was with his human lover. When the council came to know of this they caught the lovers and brought them here. The Noir stone guardian who was the head of the council at that time didn’t take it too kindly. She forced the witch to jump promising him she’ll spare the human but she didn’t. She killed the human by one of the forbidden spells ‘The Killing Curse.’ One of the guardian summoned the elders in fear and they weren’t happy. She told them she thought the punishment wasn’t severe enough and that such people deserved to die. The elders exiled her on the grounds of using a forbidden spell, the stone chose a new guardian. This incident brought new sets of laws and it forbade any kind of romantic relations with humans. Nobody dared to go against the law again.”

 “Joonie how come we never heard about this?” Jin asked when nobody else said anything.

“Because it’s a council certified information. Only council members at that time knew of this. They were prevented to speak about this by a silencing spell. My great grandfathers were part of the council at both times and you know how wisdom witches pass information down generations? That is how I came to know of this. But I couldn’t tell anyone because I too was silenced by that spell.”

“Then how?” Jimin questioned still digesting all that he heard.

“Because there’s a loop hole. It says if anyone is in need of such information like really in need the spell would not work. It seems this information was needed by you after all.” Namjoon smiled putting his dimples on display.

“Was that us? Was that what the dream was about?” Jungkook asked his eyes wide open.

“Yes Jungkook. The witch and the human that died, you both are the reincarnations of them.” Namjoon said fixing both him and Jimin with a look. “You both died in an un-just manner so life gave you another chance, don’t waste it. Don’t fall in love with each other because the law is still there, nothing good would come out of it.” Namjoon advised.

“You all know that the law forbids the relation but you don’t know what’s the punishment. The new law clearly states that nothing is stopping a mortal to fall for a witch but a witch can under no circumstances reciprocate, if rebelled then be prepared to lose the power and the human living alone in exilement.” Namjoon recited from the book he summoned just by a flick of his wrist. “This means that the witch would be stripped of the power and human of his memories, so the witch would lose both and would be exiled.”

Jungkook gulped and saw his expression mirrored on the witches too. “Any more questions?” Namjoon asked. “No? then get out of here. I need to do some reading.”

It made all of them laugh breaking the heavy atmosphere surrounding them.

They bid them farewell when Jimin remembered something and ran back to Namjoon.

“Hyung I forget to tell you something.” Jimin said

“What is it Jiminie?” Namjoon asked his attention still on the book he had opened in front of him.

“Hyung the first time I met Jungkookie outside of dream I got really overwhelmed and my eyes turned this insane shade of golden orange and it stayed like that for a few minutes but then they were back to brown. Do you know why? That’s the only puzzle left.” Jimin asked rubbing the back of his head.

Namjoon pinched the bridge of his nose thinking hard. There is something niggling the back of his head, he knows he read about eyes shifting colours somewhere  but for the life he couldn’t remember what.

“I read something about it but I don’t remember right now. I’ll let you know if I find something.” Namjoon told Jimin.

With that Jimin went his way leaving Namjoon with his thoughts. Namjoon looked around the archive trying to remember where he’d seen the book. “Eyes changing Colours” he kept murmuring as he walked around the shelves.

A book caught his eye on the top shelf. He lifted his hand in the air chanting a simple spell levitating it in the air. He turned to walk back to the table with the book following him. He placed the heavy book on the table settling himself for the long night of intense reading ahead.

It had been hours since Namjoon started reading and he still couldn’t find what he was looking for. There was a lot of information about eyes changing colors but nothing on orange-gold.

“What are you looking for?” Jin said placing a cup of tea in front of him.

“The answer to Jimin-ah’s question.” Namjoon replied.

Jin ran a hand through Namjoon’s hair and then massaged his shoulders. “Why don’t you try the book of Requirements Joon?”

“It never opens when I asks it something.” Namjoon replied absentmindedly.

“It doesn’t hurt to try right? May be this time it would.” Jin encouraged.

Namjoon turned to look at his boyfriend and seeing the encouraging look he gave him he sighed.

He stood up and went to the room where the book was on the gold podium. Closed like always.

Namjoon touched the book and it began to glow. The book was charmed.

“What is it that you wish to know?”  The book asked.

“I want to know of the eyes that change colours.” Namjoon voiced out “Whose eyes?” The book asked.

“A witch.” Namjoon answered.

“Colour?” The book asked again.

“Orange-Gold” Namjoon answered already prepared for the ‘try another time Guardian’ that the book always told him but was soon surprise when the book opened and its pages began to flutter. It opened to a page and Namjoon began to read.

The more Namjoon read the paler he got. He read till there was nothing left to read. The book closed whispering a silent ‘now you know’ Namjoon couldn’t help but wish he didn’t.

He shuffled back to his place where Jin was still waiting for him. “Did you find what you were looking for?” He asked excitedly.

“What’s wrong Joon?” He asked seeing the dejected look on his boyfriend’s face.

“Jin do you ever wish to unknow something you already know?” He asked slumping in the chair.

“Sometimes. Why?” Jin asked.

“Nothing. Just asking.” Namjoon said sitting straight up. “I am just tired.”

“Don’t lie to me Kim Namjoon. You know I can see through it easily. Tell me what’s wrong please.” Jin said taking hold of Namjoon’s hand.

Namjoon looked at him regarding him in silence. “Please.” Jin murmured. “Let me in.” Namjoon sighed.

“Hyung, you know what happens when a witch dies at the same time as its lover and they are both thinking of each other? When their souls leave their bodies at the same time with each other’s names on their lips?” Namjoon asked.

“No. Why are you asking that Joonie?” Jin furrowed his brows in confusion.

“The souls are stuck in a limbo hyung. They wait to be reborn. Their yearning for each other won’t let them pass through. And this yearning creates a bond. Unlike any other.” Namjoon whispered, his voice shaking.

Seeing him like that was making Jin tear up himself. “What are you trying to say Namjoon-ah?”

“It makes their souls synched. It’s more powerful than any soulmate out there. The souls who are in-sync are bound to find each other in every life time. And even after that.” Namjoon was visibly crying now.

“The reason Jimin’s eyes turn orange-gold is because his and Jungkook’s souls are synched. It flashed that colour because his witch’s soul recognized Jungkook’s as its partner. Jungkook isn’t a witch that’s why his didn’t turn.” Namjoon turned to look at Jin who too was sobbing at this point.

“Do you mean…?” Jin trailed off.

“Yes hyung. They are bound to fall in love with each other sooner or later. Their souls already do. They will too.”
