Chorong POV 

I sat at my usual spot in the little shelter I have in my backyard. As usual, my helper Julia, prepares my tea and pour them out for me. 

"Something's on your mind? " her endearing voice called out quietly. 

I nodded my head slowly, no words is needed when it comes to Julia. 

"Well is it about that girl? " 

I hesitated as flashbacks of my life before replayed... 

Flashbacks

I had everything. I was the top in class yearly,  scoring straight As for my exams. I was also an award winning contemporary dancer and on top of that national top three for Hapkido.  Everyone wondered Why was I working so hard for but they didn't understand. Within this shiny outer appearance I had, I am crumbled, I felt empty I felt so exhausted but no-one notices except that one girl.

I work after school on wednesdays to past time I want to keep myself as busy as I can so that it drowns the emptiness I feel within. And on a Wednesday I met her, she looked so dumb.  Yes dumb. I liked how she was unafraid of being herself and I wished I was just like her.  I started having something to look forward to. Every Wednesday she comes without fail, silly girl always ordered a glass of water with sugar cubes. 

At first I thought to myself "isn't she such a weirdo?" then one of the days she told me something.

"You know, you're the first person that did not questioned me why was I drinking water with sugar cubes."

I stopped and turn around to face her as she continued.

"haha!  My dad used to force me into drinking this because my blood sugar's low..  In case you're thinking that I'm a weirdo."

"You're not at all. I'm Park Chorong. Nice to meet you.. " aish what was her name again? I glanced at her name tag and "Bomi-ssi. Nice to meet you"

That was how I met Yoon Bomi the light of my world when it all came crumbling down. 

End of Flashbacks 

"You okay? Miss Park? "

"I don't feel so good Julia.. My head hurts..."

"I don't know why Julia but everytime I try to remember, it hurts so badly." my voice croaks as I poured out those words.

"You don't have to remember. It's okay you have us in your life." She comforted me with her gentleness.

"But Julia, I can't see anymore. "

"That's the beauty of it. You don't see my physical scars like others do,  you see what's within."

Her familiar warmth engulfs me into an embrace as I cry my hearts content.
