Yoo Youngjae had it hard when in it came to love, the one date he had ended up in embarrassment and disaster. When he finally got a boyfriend, it ended with him in tears. He had a best friend Daehyun, who had no problems at all. In fact he was getting married to his boyfriend, Jongup, he had everything the cute fiancée, the perfect job and the house. Youngjae had nothing but a small apartment, a cat and a bad luck in love. So when he spotted that tall baby faced boy, skating up and down his walk home from work. He knew he was onto something, he was intrigued so the last week or so Youngjae had inspected him. Finding out bits and bobs, he found out the boy was three years younger than him. That he loved to dance as well as skate, and that his name was Junhong but he went by Zelo among friends. Youngjae wondered many times on how he would get his attention, maybe for normal people he tried a little too hard. Once he dressed up so stupid and way out of his character. Youngjae thought he would notice, he didn’t. Another time he pretended to fall over, he didn’t but a creepy old dude did and Youngjae found it hard to shake the old dude off. Finally he tried to learn to skate. That however ended him up in a cast, with a broken wrist. So this time Youngjae may, and may not have purposely threw himself in front of Junhong. He laid on the ground, in complete pain and embarrassment. ‘Maybe that was not such a good idea’ Youngjae thought, but his thoughts were soon interrupted.
“Are you ok? God I’m sorry I just didn’t react fast enough your not too hurt are you?” Junhong asked frantic
“That did hurt...quite a lot” Youngjae replied 
“I’ll pay you back I promise just tell me how I can repay you?” Junhong asked
“Be my date for my friends wedding day” Youngjae said thinking up his plan
“But I hardly know you and your friend….I will feel like I’m intruding” Junhong said worried
“Ok well then meet me in the park tomorrow at 12 we can get to know each other first” Youngjae said serious 
“Oh ok” Junhong replied kind of confused, ‘why tomorrow? Why not now?’ Junhong thought to himself.
Youngjae let the bewildered boy go, while smiling to himself. His little plan was finally working, all he had to do now was make sure Junhong liked him. 
Junhong went home with his mind boggled, entering his small apartment in which he shared with his friend. He threw his skateboard to the side, before heading into the living room. Jongup looks up to Junhong, a frown plastered his face as he spots his troubled friend.
“What's up Junhong?” Jongup asked
“I just ran over this boy and now he wants me to be his date to his friend’s wedding as a repayment don't you find that weird” Junhong explained frowning more 
“Depends...is the boy strange looking? Or good looking?” Jongup asked as he messed with his wedding details.
“Really good looking but more on the cute side...I’m meeting him tomorrow at 12” Junhong said thinking of the boys facial features.
“Well then what's the problem?” Jongup asked smiling 
Junhong shrugs his shoulders, before disappearing to his bedroom. 
“Maybe if you get along you can ask him to be your date for the wedding after tomorrow be good to see you with someone” Jongup shouts in from the living room.
Jongup did have a point there, Junhong wouldn't have to be alone at Jongup's and Daehyun's wedding the day after tomorrow. The boy was good looking and although it was him repaying him, it could be a good idea to ask the boy. Junhong just had to hope, that the boy was nice and that they got on well. 

Next day,

Youngjae found himself washing up his hair, brushing his teeth so hard that they would be clean for a week and making himself look so darn impressionable. He really wanted to impress Junhong, after so many weeks of trying to get his attention. He didn't want to mess it up now, so he put a lot of effort into his appearance. Looking at the time Youngjae had few minutes to get to the park on time, so rushing about he took off out of his apartment. 
Junhong sat on the bench in the park, waiting for the boy to appear. It was now 12 O’clock so the boy was late, and it was making him believe he was being stood up. Just as Junhong thought about giving up, he spotted the boy running towards him out of breath
“Sorry I’m late” The boy pants out
“It’s fine…..you do know that you have odd trainers on?” Junhong replied pointing to the boys shoes
“Darn it...I was in a rush though so it just kind of happened” The boy huffed out embarrassed
“My name is Junhong by the way” Junhong introduced himself smiling
“I kno-oh I’m Youngjae” Youngjae replied nearly giving away his stalking behaviour.
“Why don’t we go find a cafe to go too?” Junhong suggested 
“Sure I could do with a hot chocolate” Youngjae said happily
So they both headed off in search for a cafe, and small facts were shared. Youngjae found out that Junhong was 18, turning 21 this year made him the hyung between the two. Sitting down with their hot beverages, the two got down to knowing each other.
“So you live alone?” Junhong asked curious
“No I have a roommate but he’s hardly home his job keeps him away on long installments” Youngjae explained
“My best friend is my roommate...Youngjae-Hyung do you have any past time fun?” Junhong asked with a big grin
“Well my last few past time events have been helping my best friend with his wedding decor and so on” Youngjae said thinking of Daehyun
“My bestfriend is getting married too” Junhong said grinning
“Look Junhong about repaying me please do it my friend with not let me forget it if I went to his wedding alone” Youngjae pleads
“Ok I’ll go but just when is it?” Junhong agreed
“Tomorrow” Youngjae replied and that’s when Junhong’s face dropped
“My friend's wedding is tomorrow though” Junhong said worried
“Oh right...ok” Youngjae sighed in annoyance
“I’m sure Jongup wouldn’t mind if I left halfway through to attend yours so your not alone” Junhong said thoughtfully
“Wait...what’s your best friend's name? His full name” Youngjae asked catching on to something
“Moon Jongup why?” Junhong replied confused
“Is he marrying someone called Jung Daehyun?” Youngjae asked further questions
“Yes” Junhong said nodding
“Five and a half….I went through all that for nothing...he’s my best friend that was the wedding I was trying to get you to come too” Youngjae explained the situation
“Oh right what a coincidence….but what do you mean went through all that for nothing?” Junhong said laughing 
“I may have pretty much threw myself in front of your skateboard on purpose...I tried for well weeks to get your attention but failed each time until finally” Youngjae confessed
“Why? Just so you could take me to your best friend’s wedding?” Junhong asked laughing as he found the truth funny.
“It’s not funny stop laughing at me….and no I wanted to get to know you and I thought you were good looking...so I made a complete fool of myself just to try and uh I guess woo you...I also broke my wrist trying to skateboard just like you” Youngjae confessed some more
“You could have just came up to me I would have stopped” Junhong said smiling 
“I know but I’m an idiot” Youngjae muttered
“Never mind….I’ll be your date to the wedding” Junhong said smiling softly
Youngjae grins back at him, while in reality he was dying on the inside. He just found out the boy he has been crushing on, well is his best friend’s fiancée’s best friend. He went through weeks of embarrassment and well pain, just to get to know him. When all he had to do was wait for the wedding day, he could have got to know Junhong from there but nope. Yoo Youngjae had to make a fool of himself.

Two years later,

The wedding day was a blast, Youngjae never thought he would be here. A few years ago he was an idiot trying to impress a skater boy, now he was married to the said skater boy. After a year of an amazing friendship, which quickly morphed into a sweet and affection relationship. Junhong popped the question to Youngjae, during his 23rd birthday suprise. It was now time for the speech, and Youngjae offered it to Junhong. 
“If you asked me a few years ago would I be getting married at the ripe age of 21 I would have shouted hell no I was planning to be a professional skateboarder at this age touring the world but then the best thing that ever happened to me decided to throw himself into the mix and what a wonderful mix that was heh I would never had thought that I would marry my best friend’s husband’s best friend if you asked me would I marry my best friend's husband best friend a few years ago I would have laughed in your face but here I am...after weeks of embarrassing himself and really putting the love hurts to good work with breaking bones he ensnared me and now he’s stuck with me for ever more….oh and no more breaking bones just to catch my attention Youngjae for you have it for eternity I love you so much….cheers everyone” Junhong confessed his speech
The crowd cheered and laughed at the embarassing details of Youngjae hurting himself for Junhong. The two enjoyed the wedding day, and the wedding night. Accepting wedding gifts, praises and the amazing gift of a astonishing honeymoon gift from Daehyun. The two newly weds found themselves, on a taxi drive to the airport. A romantic honeymoon in the beautiful Venice, awaited them and so did the many best years of their life.
