“Appa, I wanna go home.” I said while we we’re eating.

Wanna know where we are eating? Here in my room, hospital room to be exact. I know my disease can’t be cure anymore. Yeah. I am aware of that. I know months from now, I might say hello to death.

“No baby. You need to take a rest, do this for us.” My dad caressed my hair. My mom, she started to cry again. I feel pity for them. I know they are tired of taking care of me. No, they aren’t tired. They are just being strong for me. I know they also pitied me because of my condition but of course, we tried to be strong.

“But Appa, I want to enjoy my life. I want to go to school. Please? Hospital is so boring.” I whined like a kid.

“But-”

“Please Appa?” I pleaded.

“You need to-”

“Please?” I make a cute face to them.

“Baek, just give her what she wants.” My mom said, sobbing.

“But Hyo...” dad glances at mom but mom just glare at him.

My dad sighed.

“Okay.”

“Yes! I wanna go to school tomorrow! Please!” I begged while I was on his arms.

“If you want it. So, if you’re going out of the hospital, 90 days is counting.” He said that with sadness.

“Dad, I love you all and I can’t afford to lose you. Death is inevitable. I am ready to face it so... I want to enjoy my life. Yeah. Joy. It’s my name dad!” I tried to be cheerful.

“Joy, your sister loves you very much.” That is my sister, So Mi. She hug me same as through with my parents.
