i woke up when i feel the warmth missing beside me , i open my eyes  , and  there was no amy beside me , 

'' its still night , where is she '' i thought

i sit up on my bed and look around and found here sleeping in the floor , i sighs , leaving a warm and cozy bed she is sleeping on the cold floor , why is she like this ,  i  move towards the other side of bed so that i can see her closely , i lie down on bed  and  fall asleep ,

i woke up again with sun rays falling into my face , i sit up in the bed to find amy , but  she is not in the room, i heard some voice outside , and  jump down the bed to see , i look outside from the small window and saw amy repairing a car , it was very old and looks a little rusty , i  go to the washroom and wear my yesterday's clothes , and fix myself and  come out of the hut to see amy , i walk towards the amy and stand beside her , her hands was full of grease , and some of it is on her face ,

'' boo '' i shout from behind to scare her , she jump and look at me , i laugh looking at her face

'' oh  ! you are awake , princess , good morning  '' amy  said and bow to me , i smile ,

'' you should just  call me sooyoen , amy  , i am your friend ,didn't i '' i ask her  , she look at me with amuse reaction ,

'' i am sorry , but i am your slave , i can't do that , its against protocoal  '' she said with a her head hang low , why can't  she be a little selfish 

'' no , you are not slave anymore , you are prince's '' i said , 

''  pardon  me , princess sooyoen , but thats because it was threat that whoever marry you will be killed so thats why i was choose to do that , because i  am an orphan and  no one to wait for '' she said , i hate to admit but that's true , she was choose to be killed , she was choose to bait , 

'' when you know the truth , why didn't you refuse to do , don't you fear death '' i ask her , she laugh 

'' well , i am  soldier , death always around me one or two corner away , beside royal family have done so much for me , from the day one , i know my life is not mine but their's ''she answer me with smile  , 

''  but don't you want to find to find someone and live a happy life with her '' i ask her , 

'' no , princess sooyoen , i don't wanna find anyone because there is no guarantee of my life , and also i married you  '' she said with hesitation ,  then why can't you treat me like your wife 

'' oh! the car is fixed , now you guys can go back '' i heard someone say , i turn around and found cheif behind us , 

'' thank you for letting us stay here and for the car '' amy said to cheif and bow to the him

'' no , captain kim , you saved me back then its the least i can do ''he said ,

'' your husband is very great , mrs kim , she saved me even when she knows she can die , you are very lucky to have her '' cheif said and leave us alone ,

'' let's get going , princess , the road is just little far from here , then we can go to kingdom '' amy said and open the car door for me, i sit inside and she job to the driver seat  , and start driving out of the village , 

the whole journey i  was looking at her rather than seeing the nature , in the middle i fall sleep , wheawoke up it was night , and we were close to the palace ,

'' we are here , princess , you can come out of the car , we reach the palace '' amy said  , i look at everybody , they come to hug me 

'' are you fine , sooyoen  '' miyoung ask 

''  are you okay , unnie '' soojung ask

''  are you fine , sooyoen '' yuri ask

'' i am okay , guys , thanks to amy , she saved me and then we stay at a clan , they were kind enough to give us there car , thats how we reach here ''i explain them ,they all nodded there head , take me inside the palace ,

i go to the room , took shower and change my clothes in my night wears , after that  we all do dinner together and told me that how worried they were about me and next time they will not go for horse riding, especially taeyoen she is still sensitive about soojung's comments on her , after that we call it a night and proceed to the respective rooms, 

i was sitting on the bed waiting for amy to come , it been 11 pm and she still not here , she always finishes the training and workout  before 10:30 pm , i pick up my phone and call her ,but she not picking up the call ,

'' where is this , girl , its 11 pm of night , she drive car all the way here , didn't she remmeber she needs rest '' i said to myself

i call again and luckily , this time she picked up , 

'' yah ! where are you '' i  said with a high tone , i didn't know it will came this high

'' sorry , princess sooyoen , but i have to complete the task  tonight i can't come , i will be there in the morning princess'' she said ,her voice was sound tired , seriously didn't this human needs rest 

'' who gave you permission to do that , come here ,right now , what if some one assaisinate me on sleep ''i said , 

'' there are guards all around the palace princess , i was given orders by general im itself ,its something important , princess '' she said , what type of task she is completing that at middle of night , does she even ate 

'' did you had your dinner , amy '' i ask 

'' no , princess sooyoen ,but minho bought me some rolls from his home , i ate them  '' she answer , just some rolls , she didn't ate whole journey and when i offer her she said she is not hungry , but i know why she didn't ate , because i am royal , it was my fault to say her to not forget that she is till low soldier , thats why she didn't behave like normal with me , 

''amy , lets start preparing for mission , we can't be late '' i heard someone say , what mission are they talking about , 

'' sorry , princess sooyoen , but i have to go , had a good night sleep , princess '' she said and cut the phone , this is the first time she cut the call first , what mission are they talking , is she going to go , no , she needs my permission to go on a mission , she can't go without my consent , i can't let her go anywhere deadly this time , i just realise something for her , maybe love , i can't let her go , maybe they will be talking about something else , i think its better to sleep 

'' good night , my hero '' i mumble and fall to sleep 

author's pov 

what princess sooyoen didn't know was the captain was actually planning to go tomorrow night for deadly mission to kill the royality of ok kingdom ,  and there is also princess sooyoen's birthday tommorow , 

donghae look at amy testing all the weapons and can not help but think sad for her , as she will be going for mission , and the chances of not returning is high 

'' oppa , i check the weapons they are all ready , so who two people are coming with me to the ok kingdom '' amy ask the wonder donghae , when he didn't move , she shook his body and look at him

'' what happen , amy ''donghae ask the amy looking at her

'' i was asking who two people are coming with me till ok kingdom '' amy ask him , 

'' minho and one other soldier from other battilion '' he answered , amy frown listening minho  name as she remmebers she promise that she will not take minho with her

'' cut the minho name oppa , i will only go with one and that to till i analyise the kingdom , i will maintain the contact so attack when i will finish my job'' amy said , he look at her with soft expression

'' kiddo , don't you have fear of your life , you propably won't be back here or if you will live by any chance the ok kingdom , royalty will prison you and torture you till you every skin vanish from your bones , let me go instead of you'' donghae said , amy smile looking at him , first time she saw someone caring for her this much , but she knows she can not let it happen , as the said man have a family waiting  for him at him ,

'' thank you so much , donghae oppa but i am only one who can do this , i know all consquences then also i am going its better for me to go , so no one will be sad after my loss as i don't have anyone '' she said ,  donghae was about to protest but he close his mouth again as he knows that she following orders from none other than general im,

''but amy , its princess sooyoen's birthday tomorrow '' donghae telll amy , amy smile then frowns but she knows its of no use she have to go 

'' so thats why all the workers are working over night , don't worry oppa , this is my gift to princess , as i can't give her anything else '' amy smiles sadly and look at the clock , she knows what she have to do today , its 6 am of morning , 

'' donghae oppa , we have to guard the palace well , as many guests will come today , so lets start the task '' amy said and hold her blazer , 

'' don't you want to take some rest , you were preparing all night ' ' donghae said , 

''its okay , oppa ,i will take shower and go to princess '' she said , and leave the headquaters and walk towards her room , she open her bag and pull out her clothes but she saw a hankey with a name printed on it 'SY' and a royal design indicates its of royalty , 

'' its been years , princess '' she smiles and put it back to place , she touch her neck chain on touch two rings on it , remmeber the sweat memory of the wedding , 

''i hope ,princess will like my gift '' she thought and get ready for last day seeing the princess sooyoen , her love 

at 7:30 am

amy was standing outside the princess room's door waiting for the princess to get up ,she is still confuse weather she should congratulate princess first or not , her thoughts was interupted by a bubbly princess ,amy bow looking at her 

'' good morning , princess miyoung '' she said , and smile

'' good morning , amy , where were you yesterday , we wish sooyoen at 12 am , she was looking for you  '' princess miyoung questioned ,amy bow 

'' sorry , princess but i was assign to finish some task '' amy said , 

'' its okay , we are going shopping today , will eat out and have  a spa so that we can be prepared for night celebration '' princess miyoung said , and beam her eye smile , amy smile 

'' what's the sound outside '' someone from inside come called , 

'' oh! sleeping beauty is awake , i should go inside '' princess miyoung said and go inside ,

skipping the getting ready time 

amy was standing beside the car , waiting for princess to come as prince's said its a girlything so they will not come , 

'' amy '' amy turn around  just to be amazed by princess sooyoen's , 

'' no wonder she is nation's most beautiful girl '' amy mumble but it didn't go unotice by princess sooyoen as she blushes receiving the comments , 

'' happy birthday , princess sooyoen '' amy said and bow at her , princess sooyoen hold out her hand 

'' so where is my gift '' she said  , amy blink her eyes

'' sorry , princess , i didn't have anything to give you , even my life is for nation , but you can ask for anything i will try to fulfil it '' amy said and bow , princess miyoung and ms yoona was looking at birthday girl ,and think why is she smiling ,

'' i will ask for my gift at night and you have to give it to me '' princess sooyoen said ,as she plans to ask confess amy at night and will ask to her husband ,

'' oh kay, princess, lets go ''amy said and open the door for princesss to sit inside the car , as she birthday girl sit at passenger sit 

'' princess sooyoen , you should sit at the back comfortably ''amy said , as princess miyoung and ms yoona was already sitting at the back 

'' no , i will sit here , miyoung and yoona already sitting there , come on get inside we are getting late'' princess sooyoen said , amy sighs and follow the order 

at the mall after shopping and spa , 

'' lets go back ,its already 5 pm ,sooyoen , we can take some rest before dressing up for night's party '' princess miyoung said , yoona agree with it as someone was bugging her with messages to come home 

'' yes , unnie , we should '' ms yoona said , princess sooyoen look at the back and saw amy crying there shopping bags , 

'' i am thirsty , miyoung , can you buy me some drink from starbucks also take yoong with you '' princess sooyoen said , as the birthday  girl wish both the girls leave to take her highness drink, sooyoen saw a shop of formal clothes and told amy to follow her 

she enter the store and all the workers bow at her , she saw a black tux with a black tie and give it to amy 

'' amy , go try it  '' princess sooyoen said to the clueless guard ,

'' but princess sooyoen , princes's  yuri size is diffrent from me '' amy ask , sooyoen sighs 

'' no , i want you to wear this at night's party '' princess sooyoen said to her 

'' but princess i will guarding the palace , whats the use of it , and this seems very expensive for me ,i can't buy it princess '' amy said  , princess sooyoen have diffrent thoughts 

'' take it as your birthday gift i am buying it '' princess said

'' sorry , princess , but i don't know or have any birthdate , i am fine with my old clothes , princess '' amy reasoned ,but princess knows that the person's blazer is ripped from inside

'' my order go and try it '' princess sooyoen said , the soldier rush to the try room and came out as fast as she came ,

'' princess'' amy said , princess sooyeon turn around and got stunned how handsome amy look in the tux ,the sales girls all were looking at the amy ,sooyeon got jealous and told amy to go inside

'' thats my husband , princes's amy , don't try looking with those eyes again ,''princess possesively announce, all the girls inside nod their heads ,

after buying the stuffs and drinking there drinks ,all of them goes back to the palace , as the girls as usaual starts to get ready for tonights party while the soldier , check all the guards and give them instructions of what to do , 

at 8 pm the ball starts

all the people around was having good time and princess was dancing with prince's yuri , princess doesn't feel anything when  yuri came towards but rather she was looking for her prince , she saw her standing near , and got jealous as many royal womens was fantasing her ,

as the time goes by everyone had fun , it was 10:30 pm when princess found amy at the side hall , 

'' amy , forget what you said in morning '' princess sooyoen ask

'' no , princes sooyoen,  whats your wish '' amy said , 

'' lets dance , first '' princess suggest s as the song thousand years automatically start to play , amy hands was trembling and she was avoinding the princess eyes , princess leans her head on her shoulder when amy's phone rings ,indicate the time 

'' i am sorry , princess but i have to go , donghae is calling'' amy answer , princess sooyoen wants to say it but she thinks to tell her at night at bedroom ,

'' okay , l will wait for you at room '' princess sooyoen's said and leave the hall but before kissing amy's lips 

princess sooyoen's pov

i seriously wanna trash that phone into pieces for interupting our time , i go to the room and change into my pj's and stand at my balcony , i was thinking to confee to amy when i saw her standing  outside the headquaters in soldier's uniform , no it can't be ., i  run outside the palace and stop when i saw general im and king  walk towards her and give her patt on her back , she bow her head at them ,i also saw a van , 

'' unnie , she didn't tell you that she is leaving for her mission today's night '' i heard a voice , it was yoong crying , 

'' no , she can't go , she needs my permission to go'' i said

'' the wedding day , she was going to ask you but you answer her saying you want her dead , so she take it as a yes'' yoong said , i felt my cheeks wet , i look towards her and she walk towards me and bow at me 

'' you can't go , i am your wife , amy ,babo-yah'' i shout and cry on her chest , i put my head on her chest , 

'' sorry , princess but i have to go , its my gift to you, now you are free to live your life and marry prince's yuri '' she said and smile

'' i love you ,babo-yah '' i shout at her  , her eyes got big and look at me

'' no , you are not ,  princess ,you just pity me , i have to go'' she said , i hold her hand

'' when will you return '' i ask her with my crying face, she turn around and smile

'' i don't know, if i will return ,princess '' she said and kiss my hand and leave , i was just stand there crying and left alone without her
