Chapter 12 - Realization

It's been a painful long week since Mark changed into kitten. Youngjae tried everything and anything to make Mark change back, but the latter refused to listen to his owner.  

Youngjae was writing an article for a blog while Mark was sleeping in his lap. Every now and then Youngjae would rub Mark's fur to the younger's delight. Youngjae finished his work on the laptop and suddenly stood up, which caused Mark to fell down. The cat screamed on falling and glared at Youngjae. 

"Sorry!! I'm sorry, I forgot that you were sleeping in my lap. Youngjae couldn't help himself laughing on seeing Mark's reaction. Mark stretched his body while glaring again at Youngjae and went into the kitchen. Youngjae followed Mark, still giggling he gave him some milk. The cat happily the milk and meowed in happiness. 

"Why are you punishing me Mark?" The kitten looked briefly at Youngjae, then continued the milk from the bowl, as if saying you deserve it.

"Come back to me Mark" Youngjae whispered as he sat down next to his kitten and rubbed it behind its ears.

It was night time and Youngjae was laying on his bed with Mark beside him. Youngjae was sleeping peacefully, when he had a scary dream.

Youngjae saw himself in the same park where his friends, Mark and him went for the picnic. He saw Mark kissing Jinyoung and he felt his heart break. Then he saw Mark drowning in the lake and he tried to reach him, but he couldn't. 

Youngjae was crying and screaming as he saw Mark drown in the lake and he wasn't able to save him.

Youngjae woke up crying and sweating. Mark who was sleeping beside him woke up on hearing Youngjae cry. Youngjae pulled Mark closer to his chest and hugged him while crying. 

"Please don't leave me Mark! Please!" Youngjae kept on repeating. 

"Meow?"

"I'm sorry Mark, I wasn't able to save you!! I let you die! How could I let that happen?!!! I'm bad!!! " Youngjae kept on talking
