“More track practice?” I asked Jongup as he set the high jump crossbar back up. Jongup was staying after his soccer practice to practice track, even though track was on break until spring.

“Yeah.” He plainly answered before heading back to his piece of tape.

“Hey,” I started as he was about to run up to the bar, “I know you like Junhee.” Jongup stopped dead in his tracks and finally looked me in the eye. There was a long moment of awkward silence, our eyes unwavering, causing me to feel a bit more awkward. Tearing my gaze away from his, I spoke again, “Um.. I think you should, well, try to go after her..” I rubbed the back of my neck not really sure what I was doing here anymore.

After some awkward silence passed I looked up from my feet to find Jongup walking across the field and towards the locker room. “Yah! Jongup!” I ran after him. Why are they like this, I questioned thinking of the time Taehyung had just started walking away after I had confessed my feelings towards him.
