Prologue
Remember Me?I remember her...
"What are you doing, Joshua?" asked a familiar voice. Joshua panicked when he heard the door open. He quickly stuffed something sparkly under his pillow, grabbed his phone, and lied down, pretending that he has been on Instagram for hours. "Are you okay?" the voice asked. Joshua ignored the voice and didn't bother to look up. There was a long, silent pause. "I see...I guess I'll just leave then." The voice sighed and walked out, closing the door behind them.
Joshua sighed and turned his phone off. He sat staring at the ceiling. The room is depressingly dim. The curtains are closed and the light switch has a little dust sprinkled on the top, hinting that it hasn't been touched in quite awhile. The normal city sounds can be heard through the window and whispers can be heard behind the door. Joshua still lay in bed, sulking. "What have I done?" Joshua wondered. A tear drop fell on the pillow.
