It's Some Kind of a Disease
When we arrived at the university, she suddenly exclaimed, “Oh my goodness! You teach here?!” I looked at her shocked face and nodded. We walked inside while she was talking. “Do you know Professor Seung-hyun Choi?!” She excitedly asked. I nodded again. “For real? How close are the two of you?” She was like an expectant dog waiting for a bone. “Very close. We've been classmate since University until we became Biology teachers.” I said and I saw her expression brighten up. “I have been crushing on him since the first time I saw him in here.” She said with dreamy eyes. I felt like something had pierced my heart when she said she had been crushing with Seung-hyun. My childhood love was lost in that very instant. “Is he here now? Can we meet him, please?” She held both of my hands pleeding. It was a favor I couldn’t refuse. ‘I might as well do this for her as a thank you,’ I thought and frowned.
We knocked on Seung-hyuns office and he let us in. “Hey Seung-hyun. Sorry to bother you. Do you have time?” Bom was behind me. “Yeah! I was done checking all your class’ assignments why?” Seung-hyun laid all his work beside his desk. “Someone would like to meet you.” I lightly pushed Bom to stand beside me. She bowed and greeted Seung-hyun. “Ah! Bommie! How have you been? Long time no see?” Seung-hyun exclaimed and I thought I saw a slight blush on his cheeks. “I am well Professor Choi. I would like to thank you for helping me out getting the articles and research works of Mr. Kwon that my little sister asked. She loved it very much!” She happily said while she clapped her hands to her chest. ‘I forgot she had a little sister.’ I thought to myself while looking at them. “Oh no! You shouldn’t thank me. You should thank Mr. Kwon right there for being so generous on letting me copy those materials for yo
