Byul waited outside the OR as she closed her eyes and covered her face with her hand when Mino came and sat next to her

“Byul” he said when Byul hugged her

“I’m scared” she said crying

“He will be fine…” Mino said her hair

Mino listening to Byul cry as he lovingly continued her hair

*Maybe this is not the right time to tell her about Mingyu and Yeri…Mianhae if you hate me for not telling you earlier*

Mingyu felt his heart hurt at the sight of his girlfriend crying in the arms of another guy.

*Mianhae* he thought walking away

*Mainhae haraboji*

LATER:

The doctor came out with a burdened expression as Byul looked at him

“How’s he?” Mino asked as Byul looked down

“Geumawo for taking care of my haraboji” she said, her tears streaming down her face as the doctor bowed and walked away

Mino gently pulled Byul and hugged her

“You’ve been strong enough” he said as Byul hugged him back

“Where’s Mingyu when I need him the most?” she muttered.

AFTER THE FUNERAL:

Everyone was dressed in black and it had a gloomy atmosphere. Mino looked worriedly at Byul who kept looking at her haraboji’s picture

*Stop pretending to be so strong* he sadly thought

“This is haraboji’s tree…we’ll come here everytime you miss him” Mino said as Byul kept the rose at the gravestone

“Byul-ah” Mino called as Byul closed her eyes and tried to swallow the pain

“I am here, you don’t have to pretend to be strong” Mino said looking at Byul

“I’m not trying to be strong Mino oppa…I’m just thinking, if I should cry everything away today?” Byul muttered

“I just have lots of things in my mind. I’m thinking if I really am worth living in this world…if I am strong enough to face the world alone, what if I break down?”

“You know you are not alone” Mino said

“I wonder if people think if I’m worth fighting for…what am I?” Byul muttered

“Im TaeByul, you are an angel, everyone’s angel. Anyone would be happy to have you…because you are very precious…” Mino said as Byul sighed

“I’m tired of fighting the same losing battle…” she said as a tear escaped her eye

“I’m tired of crying everyday…I’m tired of expecting…now I don’t even know what love is…” she muttered as Mino wiped her tear

“Gurae…you should cry it all away, the pain and the hurt” Mino smiled

“Only then you can be stronger” he said

“You need to live” Mino said hugging her as Byul stood still

~Because she was so broken and hurt and she thought there was no one by her side, but she failed to see who truly cared for her…~

Mingyu clenched his fist and walked away

*That should be me*

Seventeen was there to attend the funeral and show their tribute.

“Boys, we should probably leave” the manager said

“Can’t we stay for a little longer? Byul is like a family friend to us” SeungCheol said

“Okay” the manager said after sometime

“But I think she’ll not be in the condition to see us…she probably hates us” WonWoo sighed

“Yeah…we were never there for her. We didn’t even know what she was going through” Jeonghan sighed

“You think she might know about Mingyu and Yeri?” Hoshi asked

“Probably” Wozzi muttered

“But we can explain it to her, everything and I’m sure she’ll understand” DokYeom said

“Do you take her for a fool?” WonWoo muttered

“And besides, I think it’s best that we allow Mingyu and Byul to settle it among themselves” WonWoo said as the elder ones nodded

“And isn’t that guy the one who hit Mingyu hyung before?” Seungkwan asked looking at Mino sitting with Byul

“Yeah…it’s Song Mino of ‘WINNER’” Jun said

“Yeah, we know” Dino muttered

“At least she has him to comfort her” SeungCheol said sighing

“How do they each other anyway?” Minghao asked

“Where’s Mingyu?” Hoshi asked as the guys looked at each other

“He went to the washroom maybe” Veron said.

LATER:

“Mino oppa, I’ll go meet the boys” Byul said as Mino looked at her and nodded

“You want me to come?” he asked as Byul shook her head

“Okay…” Mino smiled a bit as Byul walked towards the boys

“Noona is coming towards us” Dino whispered as Veron nodded

Mingyu looked at Byul walk towards them, that girl whom he wanted to comfort so much

*The boys looked at Byul as she walked towards us. Her face pale and her swollen eyes, yet how pretty she looked. The black dress that fitted her perfectly, though she was all dressed in black she looked like an angel…she was an angel…*
