Byul wiped her grandfather’s hand with a towel as she lovingly stared at him

“Good morning haraboji, did you sleep well?” she asked at her sleeping grandfather

“Actually I’m so worried. Last night I couldn’t sleep a bit because Mingyu oppa and the boys had to run to different schedules at such a weather.” She pouted

“It’s better now don’t worry, it’s just dark” she smiled when her phone rang

“Mianhae haraboji, I’ll be back” she smiled running outside

“Neh WonWoo, don’t you have a schedule? Won’t the manager kill you?” Byul chuckled

“Byul, hurry to the dorm…Mingyu is so sick” WonWoo said as Byul stared for sometime

“I’ll be there” she said grabbing her phone and sweater

“Song Ajhuma, please take care of haraboji, I have to go somewhere very urgently” Byul said as the nurse nodded.

“Boys! Wake up, we have to head to the saloon to get your hair and makeup done!” the manager said

“Where is Mingyu?” the manager asked looking at the twelve boys

“Hyung, Mingyu is sick” WonWoo said

“Sick? What do you mean?” the manager asked worriedly

“Last night, the rain” Hanseol said

“Are we leaving already?” Mingyu asked walking to the living room
“Yah why did you get out? You should rest today” SeungCheol said worriedly

“How’s your fever?” Jeonghan asked
“Yah you guys are over reacting, I’m fine, see?” Mingyu said

“No we can’t see” Jun said

“You should rest, Mingyu-ah” Joshua said

“aniya I’m going” Mingyu said

“You can rest if you are sick Mingyu-ah” the manager said

“Aniya hyung, I want to” Mingyu said

“You sure?” the manager asked

“yes” Mingyu said as the manager sighed

 “Okay whatever let’s just go” SeungCheol sighed

A performance of “Mansae” had ended and the boys were eating their lunch as Mingyu closed his eyes

*Aniya I can’t be sick. I can’t let the boys down and I can’t make Byul worried* he thought

“Hyung, join us, the food’s delicious” Seungkwan said

“Neh hyung, chicken never tasted better” Hanseol said

“Aniya, I don’t have the appetite now” Mingyu said

“You want to take some meds then?” Joshua asked

“In an empty stomach? Are you a pabo?” SeungCheol said as Jun nodded in agreement

“I’ll just rest and I’ll be good as new” Mingyu said reassuring the boys that everything was okay.

Soon, the boys headed to the next schedule as they got ready to perform

“Feeling better?” WonWoo asked as Mingyu nodded

“I’m sorry it’s all my fault” WonWoo said as Mingyu hit his head

“Ah~ what was that for!” WonWoo said rubbing his head

“Don’t blame yourself” Mingyu smiled

“I wish some guys would just come and hit on me like these boys did~” they heard Uie, the female MC say as the boys burst out laughing

“Next on stage we have the guys that every girl wants, the rookies of the year -SEVENTEEN with “Mansae”!!!” the male host said as the female fans began cheering

Mingyu walked to the stage

*it’s okay I can do this* he muttered

Half-way through the performance, Mingyu felt himself get drowsy

*I can do this*

Right after the performance ended, Mingyu felt his energy drain as WonWoo helped him get to the practice room.

The next thing Mingyu remembered was waking up on the hospital bed

“You’re awake? How are you feeling?” WonWoo asked as Mingyu sat up

“What? Where are we? What’s the time?” Mingyu asked as the manager walked in with SeungCheol
“Mingyu-ah are you feeling better?” SeungCheol asked

“We need to get to our next schedule” Mingyu muttered

“No way” WonWoo said

“Where are the rest of the boys?” Mingyu asked

“They are filming a radio show, SeungCheol and WonWoo will be heading there too…about you fainting backstage is all over the internet now so we should head to the dorm before the fans flood around here” the manager said

“But hyung—” Mingyu said

“No buts Mingyu, you are taking rest until you get better. I’ve called TaeByul-sshi for now, she’ll take care of you” the manager said

“Why did you tell her?!” Mingyu said getting up

“We had to, I’m sorry” WonWoo said

“Come now, we have to leave” the manager said as he looked at Seung Cheol

“SeungCheol, I’ll meet you at the site, be sure to lead the boys...as the leader I’m trusting you” the manager said as SeungCheol nodded.

Mingyu and the manager got into the car as the manager drove

“Hyung, about TaeByul…” Mingyu muttered

“I know everything, the boys have told me. Right now I just have to trust her to take care of you. But remember you can’t send her out of the dorm for whatever purposes, I’ll tell her everything personally” the manager said

“And I’m not telling the agency anything about this, just make sure you don’t break my trust and so anything stupid” the manager added as Mingyu looked at him
“I swear I’m buying you something nice on your birthday” he smiled as the manager let out a laugh

“Just get well soon Mingyu-ah, your fans, your bandmates, me and even your girlfriend is worried about you” the manager said

“Neh hyung…” Mingyu said.
