            I put my phone on my lap. Ahh, today's going to be a good day. Finally, we stepped outside of the hospital. A car pulled up.

“Dad!!” Jackie ran towards the car. Jackie and Dad hugged.

Dad turned to me.

“Amber!!” He hugged me tightly. “Sorry I couldn't visit you any sooner. You look better, I think.” He was still hugging me.

“Dad, I'm happy to see you, but I might break my remaining bones from your hug!” He let go.

“Ha. Ha.” He said sarcastically. “Let's go.”

Author's POV

            The Lius spent the whole afternoon and evening together at Amber's apartment. They had to leave the next day, so they wanted to make the most of it. The four played board games, made lunch and dinner, watched TV, karaoked, and just talked, catching up with each other. Amber excused herself to her room around 11:40.

“Let me help you to your room, my dear dongsaeng.” Jackie put her hands over the wheelchair handles.

Amber looked over her shoulder and grabbed Jackie's hands.

“It's okay, I got this. And don't act all nice just because I'm a patient, please. It's scary!” Amber said and giggled. Jackie scoffed and walked back to their parents.

            Amber wheeled her way to her room. It took a while since she was pushing the wheelchair with one arm. She got in and plopped down on the bed. Good thing her bed height was really low.

“Ouch.” She accidently let her leg swing and hit the side of her bed.

            The llama quickly pulled out her phone to check her text messages. Nothing. She sighed. Amber was about to drift to sleep when a text came in. Bzz bzz
