HoJin's POV

I woke up when I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Oppa looking at me with a sad face. "What is it, oppa?"

He sighed. "HoJin-ah... Krystal... is dead. She's been murdered."

My eyes went wide. I sat up. "What do you mean? No... That can't happen!" Even though I knew what Krystal-unnie did to me yesterday, she was still my friend, my unnie. She couldn't be dead. "You're lying, oppa! That can't happen!"

He sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm not lying. She's dead. L and CAP found her... hanging from a tree."

"What? No!" L-oppa... found her? His girlfriend? I clutched my head and squeezed my eyes shut. "No! This can't be happening! This is wrong! Why would anyone want to murder Krystal-unnie?" The tears started to fall. I shook my head. Suddenly, I felt a stab of pain from my head. "Argh..."

"Are you alright? HoJin-ah?"

I nodded my head. "Oppa... just. I want to be by myself."

He sighed and I heard him walk out and close the door. I opened my eyes again. I looked around. My room... was a mess. The lamp was broken. My bedside-stand and fallen over. What happened last night to cause this mess? I remembered being unable to move and suffocating... then something broke... then nothing. I shook my head. Now is not the time to be thinking about this. Krystal-unnie was dead. She was murdered. Myungsoo-oppa and CAP-oppa found her hanging from a tree! Anyone would be shocked. Myungsoo-oppa was her boyfriend. That was so unfair! How come anyone would want to seperate two people in love by death? It was so cruel! How could God do something so cruel to Myungsoo-oppa?

I stepped out of bed, careful not to step on any broken glass and grabbed my uniform. It was time to go to school.

"Are you sure you want to come to our school, HoJin-ah?" Oppa asked.

I nodded. "Of course."

"Do you want me to piggy-back you?" Dongwoo-oppa suggested.

I thought for a moment. "Nah. It would be unthoughtful of me... Especially today. I can't turn up at school in front of the other oppas and unnies acting like nothing happened."

"Ok." He nodded.

My school and the oppa's school for close to each other. Just across the road. I haven't dropped by at their school for aaages. I needed to see how everyone was doing. I needed to see for myself.

As we got to oppa's school, there were police everywhere. I saw CAP-oppa being interviewed. He looked pale. The principal of the school was saying to the students, "School, has been cancelled until further notice."

I saw oppa's group of friends and we walked over to them. Victoria-unnie was crying. "Hey Victoria-unnie..." She tried to smile. I nodded, "It's alright..." I hugged her. "It's alright." I sniffed. I looked up so that the tears wouldn't fall. They didn't.

Sulli-unnie was crying. Sungyeol-oppa was comforting her. "It's alright..." He looked like he was on the verge of tears as well.

Amber-unnie was sniffing quietly alongside Luna-unnie. Woohyun-oppa, Sungjong-oppa and Sunggyu-oppa looked distressed. I went over to them and said, "Oppas, are you alright?"

They nodded, sadly. Woohyun-oppa said, "But L is..."

Sunggyu-oppa sighed. "He won't talk to anyone... not the police, not the teachers or principal, not even us."

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He's at the back of the school." Sungjong-oppa said. "But you have to try get past the police first."

I nodded. "I'll go get him..."

"Good luck." Sungjong-oppa smiled sadly.

"Thanks..."

I turned and walked away, towards the police. Nervously, I asked one, "Uhmm... can I go to the back of the school?"

He shook his head. "Sorry. Nobody is allowed in or out of the school yet."

I sighed. "Look, I think I can help..."

He raised his eyebrow.

"Myungsoo-oppa is inside and is refusing to come out or speak to anyone. I can get him to come out and speak."

"Really now? That's what all his friends said before."

I nodded. "Just let me in."

"Let her in." A voice said. The police-officer and I turned to see a man in his mid-forties dressed like a Detective.

The policeman nodded. "Of course, Detective Shin."

Detective Shin looked at me. "We're counting on you."

I nodded. Let's just hope I can do and not just say.

Detective Shin and the policeman led me to the back of the school, in silence. We walked past the crime-scene. I looked at the tree. There was a bit of chain still hanging. I shivered. I saw some people carrying a black bag away. Krystal-unnie was inside that bag... I felt tears in my eyes. Forensic scientists were at the scene, gathering evidence and clues. I could smell the metallic smell of blood. There was blood stained all over the grass and the tree. I felt like puking. Someone placed a hand on my shoulder. I looked up ad saw Detective Shin. "Don't look."

I nodded and looked away. We were finally at the back of the school. Myungsoo-oppa was sitting against the brickwalls, with his knees gathered up to his chest. He had his arms around his knees and he stared blankly into the sky. I looked at the two men beside me. They nodded in understanding and walked away, leaving me with Myungsoo-oppa. I went over and sat down next to him, cross-legged. He didn't react. I leaned against the brick wall and stared at the sky.

We stayed like that for at least five minutes. Not speaking, not moving. The birds tweeted. The clouds moved. The leaves on the trees rustled. I could hear our even breaths. In. Out. In. Out. It was relaxing. I turned to face him. He looked so expressionless... it made my heart die a little. I would rather him be crying then like this. Krystal-unnie would be heart-broken to see him like this.

I sighed. "Myungsoo-oppa... it's alright to cry... it's alright to scream. Just, do something, anything. Don't stay like this. Krystal-unnie would be heart-broken." He didn't even react to Krystal-unnie's name. I sighed. I reached out and patted his head. I hugged him.

"I can't cry anymore..." He whispered. "I can't... my tears... are all dried up now..."

I his soft hair. "Then I will cry for you. Krystal-unnie would never want to see you like this..."

"I'm gonna hunt that bastard down. I swear. I'm gonna kill him."

"You can't do that on your own... you have to tell the police what you saw. What happened. Detective Shin will be able to help."

He clutched onto my uniform. "I'm gonna make that bastard pay for what he did..."

I continued to hug him. "It'll be alright..."

He sighed. "Krystal... why did you have to leave me? Why? You promised me that we'd stay together forever... you promised."

The tears in my eyes began to fall. I bit my lip and squeezed my eyes shut. I continued to Myungsoo-oppa's hair.

He must have heard me cry, because he hugged my tight and pulled my head onto his chest. "I swear, I'm gonna make that bastard pay." He my hair. I clutched onto his uniform. "I promise you, Krystal. I promise.''

His tears dropped silently down. I sat up properly again. I grabbed some tissues from my bag and wiped his face. "M-myungsoo-oppa, tha-that's it... cr-cry it-it ta-tall all out..."

He closed his eyes and leaned back against the wall. Tears continued to flow down his cheek.

After ten minutes of staying like that, we both stopped crying. I stood up and held my hand out. He looked at me then at my hand, before grabbing it and standing up. We headed to the front, where everyone was waiting. As we past the tree, Myungsoo-oppa looked at it then looked away. He walked quickly. "Let's go HoJin-ah." He said, smiling sadly at me.

I nodded. "Let's go..." I looked at the tree one last time then looked away.
