Mankind lost Eden because of their sinfulness. 

Jeon Wonwoo is a 21 year old college student (22 years old Korean age). He is a third year student pursuing a degree in Law and Psychology.

Kim Mingyu is a 20 year old trainee (21 years old Korean age) at an entertainment company – Polaris Entertainment. He is soon to debut as an idol in a boy group.  

Jeon Wonwoo is Kim Mingyu’s protector, harbour and haven since Wonwoo was 5 years old (6 years old Korean age) and Mingyu was 4 years old (5 years old Korean age). They first met at an orphanage after Mingyu’s parents passed away in a car accident and left him an orphan. Wonwoo was abandoned by his mother when he was a few months old.

The two boys had to cope with physical and ual abuse in the orphanage during the teenage years. Wonwoo was always there to comfort Mingyu. While Mingyu was aware Wonwoo was physically by the administrator – a priest, Mingyu was never aware Wonwoo had suffered ual abuse too.

Wonwoo wants justice – this is why he chose his pathway towards law. He wants to put the abuse behind him but he still suffers nightmares as a result of the abuse. He is a diligent student who works towards his goal of becoming a lawyer. He is doing well in his studies.

On the other hand, Mingyu auditioned at Polaris Entertainment and was accepted as a trainee. Mingyu works hard because he wants to stand on stage. He wants Wonwoo to be proud of him. He thinks if he becomes successful and famous, he can help support Wonwoo in his studies. But Mingyu has put himself on a path of no return with the seedy nature of the entertainment business.

Both Wonwoo and Mingyu love one another more than just friends or brothers, or the cousin relationship they put on show for the people around them to cover their identities as orphans.  But neither party has admitted his love for the other. As they embark on different lives, they grow apart. But will their feelings change? Along with the other interference and misunderstandings and with the abuse Mingyu continues to endure, but tries to hide from Wonwoo, leading him on the path of self-destruction, will this lead to a tragedy for Mingyu or for the both of them?

Can they find the Eden they've been looking for or will they be doomed to be in Gethsemane? 

Other Seventeen members will appear as characters of the boy group. Expect other characters from other groups to make appearances as well.

This story is about abuse/ual abuse by people who are in power over powerless – based loosely on the ual abuse scandals that continues to rock the Catholic Church, as well as the rumoured seedy and dodgy conduct of entertainment companies in the entertainment industry. Certain chapters might be rated [M] for disturbing content.

I'll try to update this as frequent as I can, but as I am working on a JiKook fic - The Year, the Sun Shines which I encourage to check out, the updates for Finding Eden may not be as frequent as the JiKook fic. I just feel so inspired by Meanie that I want to write a story about them.
