Chapter 5

“Hey” she told me.

“Long time no see.” I replied with a cold voice.

“You should get back.” She told me.

 “I’m sorry.” I told her. She looked at me.

“I understand.” She told me. I know she’s hurting deep inside but at that time I was not strong enough to face her I’m not strong enough to face myself

Flashback

“We’re going to fish this weekend, do you want to come?” I asked her.

“sure, I’d love to.” She replied. Everything is going great. With her by my side I couldn’t ask for more.

Weekend came. It was Sunday, I never knew then what horrible thing would happen. In the middle of the bonfire dancing. She just collapsed. I don’t know what to do. I’m lost? We bring her to the nearest hospital. I was there the whole time. Not daring to leave her side when the people around ask me to. After that day, I thought everything will be normal again, or so I thought.

As I was waiting for her to come out, so that we could go to school together. She didn’t go outside. She’s been absent for a week. Neither of her friends know why. I’ve been waiting. I still am. Then one day, she just left. Without a word.
