Kim Mingyu is vulnerable when it comes to love, friendship and everything else.

He trusts easily and forgives quickly. Kim Mingyu is a kind hearted young man standing at the age of eighteen with no parents, except his own self and his little sister. His real parents went missing two years ago (vanished without a trace and was declared dead by many but was not proven - yet) and was put under his relative’s wings but they were the complete opposite of Mingyu’s parents who were nice, caring, trusting, and loving – this was where Kim Mingyu got his personality traits. Mingyu’s little sister is named Kim Miho. She is Mingyu’s only world since their parents vanished. From head to toe, this young man doesn’t look like his age and is usually mistaken for being a senior when he’s only a freshman in college – in Pledis University. His best friend is Hong Jisoo, whom he met during his high school years.

Jeon Wonwoo, a very sociable person who is loved by everyone but has his own issues – trust issues.

Sophomore in Pledis University, standing at the age of nineteen. Popular because of his academic grades, features, and talents. A very sociable person and has lots of friends, completely the same with his best friend, Yoon Jeonghan. Lives in a very peaceful home with also loving parents, and has a little brother name Jeon Woong. Jeon Wonwoo has everything already and he could not wish for anything else but he has one problem in life and it's having trust issues. He once had a boyfriend – yes a boyfriend. A boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend, whom he loved oh so very much until one day, just decided to cheat on him with some other guy. Since then, the only close people to his heart were his parents, his little brother, and his best friend Yoon Jeonghan.

Yoon Jeonghan a very feminine-like boy, who helps his best friend with everything he can.

Feminine and always mistaken as a girl, one reason for being popular and almost all the boys fawn over him except for a certain someone also a Junior at Pledis University. Protects Jeon Wonwoo by all means and vice versa, also has a younger sibling, a girl named, Yoon Ji. Parents are very accepting like Jeon Wonwoo’s – a total sweetie to everyone. Has dated a couple boys but it always didn't last because the boys would cheat on him. Never really went far with any of them, the farthest they all did was hug and hold hands because he promised everything else should be done after marriage – maybe not about kissing. Maybe. If a certain someone would just – yes.

Hong Jisoo, born and raised in the US, who doesn’t believe in love – until someone changed that.

Junior at Pledis University, Kim Mingyu’s best friend. Also a very smart student and can speak English very well. Parents are very strict and only wants the best for him and his little brother. Never believes in love because he thinks his parents being strict to him and his little brother is not love but overpowering their rights and will. Has never dated anyone in life, basically the same as Kim Mingyu. Hong Jisoo, a very well-mannered, down to earth young man. Completely different personality from his parents and is very close to his grandparents (shows where he got his manners and personality from). Has a little brother name Hong Jae who looks up to his brother very much. Doesn’t like girls fawning over him because of his looks or English skills. Hates the word love – heck, to him the word ‘love’ doesn’t even exist in his so called, “Hong Jisoo Dictionary.”
