I grabbed his phone with both of my hands, as my other hand was placed beneath my eye. Dark, red eyes. Impossible, my mind said.

“Irene,” he called.

My eyes darted to him, and I panicked, panicked that he might hate me for who I am and what I am.

“It’s all right,” that’s what he said.

“All right?” I said, in confusion. Although, he just walked pass through me, almost leaving me behind with Sehun on his back now.

Once we got outside, the ambulance was already there. Jungkook immediately placed Sehun in the ambulance car, and they were set off.

My eyes wandered the surrounding, and there were still lots of people. Others were a mess, and some cried, due to shock and pain.

I felt Jungkook’s hand wrapped around my wrist, and I was faced to him. He was staring into my eyes deeply, and I couldn’t guess what he was thinking.

“Come with me. We need to talk.”



This is going to be my second time, entering his house. It was just the two of us, under this roof. Everything was peaceful and quiet, until he broke the silence.

“What can you do?” He faced me.

“Jungkook,” I called his name softly, aside from answering his question. “You’re hurt.” I scanned his face, and it was full of scratches and bruise now. He must have searched for me, throughout the whole school…

He was about to ignore my statement, but my hand went up to his cheek, caressing it. His skin was smooth, but it was ruined because of the scratches and bruises.

His eyes were suddenly soft, and he seemed fragile and hurt. He looks like he’s been smashed into pieces. Why?

JUNGKOOK’S POV

Her touch, I think it was the best feeling in the world. She caressed my cheek, as she looked deeply into my eyes. One thing just came into my mind, once she looked at me.

Hyerin.
This is just hurting me, knowing that she is gone. But, this is just impossible. It seems like she’s here with me, in front of me, alive and breathing at the same time. They look alike. How come? Unless, she’s the one.
