L tip toed silently and peeked around the door, in case there were bodyguards stationed at the emergency stair. He released a relieved sigh when he saw there was nobody there but his relieve was short-lived when a hand grabbed his shoulder.

“Omona!” L jumped and held his chest, he swore his heart almost jumped out of his chest at the shock. He gave his best glare at the culprit that was giggling behind him.

“Yah! Lee Sungjong!” He wanted to shout that idiot name but he held himself back, in case anyone heard him.

“L hyung… You should have seen your face… You looked like you just saw a ghost…” Sungjong was giggling so much, his stomach hurt from holding his laughter.

“Tch!” He smacked Sungjong’s head before continuing his mission, much to Sungjong’s curiousity.

“Why are you trying to sneak into floor 19 anyway? You know it’s restricted, right?”

“Doesn’t that make you curious?” L raised his eyebrow at the younger, knowing exactly how curious Sungjong was about everything.

“Let’s go!” suddenly, L found himself the one that was dragged along the hallway, dodging the bodyguards like a thief. He sneaked a peek at the younger, how did he get this good at avoiding authorities?

They finally reached the room at the end of the hallway, practically fall into the room and L locked the door behind them. Both of them were panting, too excited from the adrenalin coursing through their body just from the thought that they did something bad.

“You’re good at this.”

“I had enough practice from skipping school.” Sungjong was looking around the room, amazed at the luxuries a hospital room could offer. L just went straight to the bed, he had been there before. This was his room when he got admitted five years ago. The VIP room was reserved for the families of the chairman, so he had wondered about the person currently sleeping on the bed.

When he saw the man’s face, L couldn’t stop himself. His heart was beating so hard, he expected the man to wake up from the sound of his heart. L thought he knew him, he should. But no name came into his mind, neither did any memories. However, he knew something. He loved him. He loved the man that was sleeping on the bed, the nameless man that he never met
