Sunggyu looked at the boy with soft eyes. It had been five years since the last time he saw the boy opened his eyes but nothing changed. He was still the innocence boy that Sunggyu knew.

“Hyungnim…” Sungyeol croaked, his vocal cord strained as he hadn’t use it for so long. Sunggyu patted his arm silently and turned to look at Dongwoo.

“How is he?”

“His vitals are fine. Nothing to worry about.  He was alright from back then anyway, he just won’t wake up.” Dongwoo chuckled and passed the folder to Sunggyu. It wasn’t that Sunggyu didn’t trust him, Dongwoo just knew that Sunggyu trust himself the most. Sunggyu simply flipped the papers and gave it back, his eyes giving orders to leave. Dongwoo bowed slightly before leaving them.

You’re on your own now, Lee Sungyeol. He sighed as he left the two alone.

“How are you feeling now, Sungyeolie?” Sunggyu sat on the bed and smiled at the boy.

“Tired.”

“Yah! You slept for five years. How dare you say you are tired?” Sungyeol chuckled at the older’s reprimand.

“Hyungnim… How  is… Myungsoo?” Sunggyu froze and looked away, causing Sungyeol to become restless.

“Hyungnim? Myungsoo… He is okay, right?” Sunggyu turned back at him with a sad smile, tears were pooling in his small eyes.

“He is no longer here, Sungyeolie. He… Died five years ago.” Sungyeol froze.

“No, no, no, no! I saved him back then. I pushed him away!”

Sungyeol groaned in pain as he tried to stand up. He never knew Myungsoo was capable of hitting him that hard, the boy always needed his help even to open the jam. He staggered a little before regaining his balance and turned at Myungsoo. He felt guilty of what he said earlier, he was just trying to make the other boy angry at him. He wanted to apologize but then he saw Myungsoo stumbling onto the road.

Sungyeol heard the horn first before Myungsoo. When he saw the shock on the younger’s face, Sungyeol didn’t even thought twice as he ran forward to push Myungsoo out of the way.
