She hears the bystanders’ giggles and whispers from the background, but she stops the urge to shout at them to stay quiet. Instead, she glares at the person in front of her who has no interest with her whatsoever.
“Hey! Are you even listening to me?”
From the start of the school year, her seatmate proved to be an irritating head. So serious about almost everything; such a model student to everyone. She thought they could be friends and that’s why she put aside their differences in personality to befriend him.
He shot her offer every single time. And every time he said,
“I don’t need friends,”
her pride got scratched. She was known for being able to befriend anyone – even a suicidal person. That’s why it felt like he intentionally spat on her reputation.
Spat and spat and spat.
She sighs when she recieves no answer from him. Her clenched fist trembles by the want to connect it on his small face. He always treated her presence invisible, and rolls his eyes whenever she says something relevant or not.
As usual, he gives her the cold shoulder, only side-eyed her before drifting his attention back to the books inside his locker. He intends to organize before the school bell rings to signify lunch break where students simultaneously come out from the classrooms and leave the peaceful hallways crowded and full of unneeded chatter.
“Hey! Min Yoongi!” She shouts in his ear in an attempt to anger him and make him look at her.
The model student is also known for his terrifying patience. Yet somehow, Yoon Bomi finds a lot of ways to break his calm.
