Exerpts from the Volumes of Light, from the private collection of the High Mage of the Tower. These were taken into particular scrutiny by High Mage Dongwan in the years before the events that led to the culmination of prophecy. My question is now this, one that will forever remain unanswered: Did Dongwan set on his path to ensure that the Prophecies came true,  therefore making them self-fulfilling prophecies? Or was he truly in the search for more power and his study of the texts had not truly been of the level of expertise that we all assumed? I prefer to think it was the former, and that he did what he must to ensure that the Seals came to be. As such, I shall remember him fondly and call him a martyr for the safety of the world. -Hyesung

There shall come a day when man has grown comfortable, the Tower has grown complacent, and that is when the Dark shall rise. When a dark mist falls upon the world and the tower collapses, a dark shroud will cover the hopes of men.

The seals will weaken and the Light shall falter, and when this comes to pass, the four must be found. Look to the four, to find the way to free the Light. If they break then the world is lost, if they hold then the Tower will fail.

Even as the first Seal rises, the Dancers shall shut themselves away, hiding behind their fears. The long-lived continue without change, their eyes closed while the world collapses around them.

The rivers dry and the world we know withers away, while those who cannot see it continue blindly on their paths. Only in the depths shall hope be found, yet even those will die. Only the breaking of the darkness can correct the paths of the moon.

The dancers shall fall out of step and the world will fall into darkness, and the entirety of nations shall be captive to war. Sure as the turn of the world changes night to day, the call of power changes the hearts of men. The candles are snuffed, one by one, until only one shines with a dark light. The truth shall be revealed when the four come to the Well, and the dark quest shall end. The five shall hold fast and the four shall end it.

The Seals are protectors. The Seals are providers. The Seals are power. He who holds the Seals is King. Fortune's sword, bloodied in the sun yet born in the snow. The Dancer's

Chapter 36: I highly enjoyed this story and the connections between the characters was very nicely portrayed. I actually liked that you only hinted at a JeongCheol ship that didn't quite sail, giving this a very real turn. The high fantasy feel was something I had been driving toward in this contest and I'm glad this really delved into it. The characters were nicely written, as well. I especially like Mingyu, but loved all of them.

Chapter 34: That was a very intense battle scene and nice teamwork.

Chapter 33: I feel really bad for Hyesung, knowing how close he once was to Dongwan. I hope they can stop him before it's too late and all is lost.

Chapter 26: First of all, I really like the chemistry between Mingyu and Wonwoo and I hope they'll get the chance to explore the possibilities that are obvious between them. I think they'll be okay, given the Prophecies, but things can always go wrong. Secondly, I'm back to not trusting Hyesung. I just hope the two will succeed and do what they need to do.

Chapter 22: To me, it looks like Youngsaeng was trying to back them into a corner, but I'm glad it didn't work. It's interesting that Seungcheol is being read as untrue, and I hope they can find out why. There's so much suspicion going on and I'm not sure what to make of it so far.

Chapter 20: From what Jeonghan had seen, I definitely don't trust Siwon, since I think he's in league with his father. Seungcheol seems to have distanced himself from his family, though, so I don't think he's involved. There's always rooms for doubt, though.

Chapter 15: Oh goodness! So maybe my thought that Hyesung was turning against them was incorrect, then. I hope they can get out of this safely, but it's not looking good. They want the Seals dead, so will likely do whatever they need to.

Chapter 13: This chapter was bone-chilling with that attack from the demons. I hope they'll get out of this safely and that Wonwoo is okay.

Chapter 7: I'm glad that Seungcheol and Mingyu for their differences cleared up, so now maybe they can begin to understand one another. And now I still don't trust Hyesung. He's being shady...
I like how you've built this world and taken care to give cities and clear reasons for actions, as well.

Chapter 5: First of all, the way you described the horses and their antics cracked me up. It's so typical of horses, honestly;). Hyesung seems to be a little suspicious and I don't really trust him. There's something strange about him, but I could be wrong. And now with him being convinced that the Seals are people, they'll need to be more careful.
