It was a typical day and Onew was cleaning some tables when the entrance doors were thrown open. In came Donghae with such an energetic look on his face the man was sure he was going to be a handful. Luckily Eunhyuk followed right after at a more calmer pace. He had an amused, but fond, look on his face as he watched his boyfriend practically bounce to the counter. The man turned to Onew who was showing a mixture of amusement and fright on his face.

"Hello Onew. Sorry about Donghae. He had sugar this morning." Eunhyuk explained with a grin.

"Hyukkie don’t lie!" Donghae called from across the room. "You know why I'm so happy."

"I do. But sugar rush would make so much sense as well." The other replied as he made his way over.

Donghae made a face at him before turning back to Minho who was at the counter. The excitement that was pouring off the man was so intense that they all knew what news he had to tell was going to be good. Or entertaining, knowing Donghae.

"Minho-ah! Where is Leeteuk-hyung?"

"He is not in yet. But I figure he will be here soon. He normally stops by the café after his lunch dates with Kangin." Minho explained as he glanced at the time.

"Okay! We will wait! Hey, where is Wookie."

"He quit." Onew explained.

"What!?"

"Hae I told you this already. He signed a contract with SM Entertainment so he works with Yesung now."

"Oh yeah! I remember now! And Yesung almost got fired because of it."

"What?" The two Shinee workers yelled in surprise.

"That part he remembers." Eunhyuk mutters under his breath. "Long story short. A new trainee was getting too friendly with Ryeowook in Yesung's eyes and he told the kid to back off. And when the kid didn’t Yesung punched him in the face."

"Gave him a black eye because of it."

"Right? So he was suspended for it. The only reason he still has a job is because he is very talented at what he does and a lot of the idols under him threatened to annul their contracts if he was let go."

"Woah…"

"Yeah we were all surprised too. But Yesung is very possessive when it comes to Ryeowook."

"Apparently." Onew muttered under his breath. He never remembered the singer to ever be violent in the café. But he supposed that since none of them flirted with the pianist while he was working Yesung didn’t have any reason to be angry.

"Come on Hae. Now that we filled them in on the latest gossip lets grab a table and wait for hyung."

"Okay!" Donghae followed his boyfriend to a table where they ordered a couple of drinks. Minho went in back to get them and when he dropped off Donghae's coffee and Eunhyuk's strawberry milk the pair decided to make their visit a little date as well.

Minho came back to the counter where Onew was standing. The man had an amused grin on his face.

"Never would have guessed about Yesung-hyung."

"Tell me about it."

"But that is good right? It means he really cares about Ryeowook-hyung."

"Well that's one way of putting it."

Onew couldn't help but laugh. Apparently his friend was also pretty surprised by their usually docile hyung violent nature. But you learn something new every day. The pair went back to their own work while they waited for Leeteuk to come back so everyone could hear what the big surprise was from Eunhyuk and Donghae.

It only took another thirty minutes before Leeteuk and Kangin came walking back into the café. The engaged couple had matching smiles on their faces which showed that their lunch went well. The owner barely had time to greet anyone in the café before he was almost tackled by the ever energetic Donghae. He would have been knocked down if Kangin was not there to keep him upright. Leeteuk was surprised by the hit but could only laugh. Donghae looked like a playful puppy with that look on his face.

"What on earth is this all for Hae-ah?" He questioned with a laugh.

"Hyung! We have something big to tell you! Guess what it is!"

"I couldn't even begin to guess Donghae. Why don't you just tell me." He answered the excited man with a bright smile.

"We are going to have a baby!" Donghae shouted in his ear.

"What?!" Leeteuk said back in shock. Whatever he was expecting this was definitely not it.

"How?" An equally bewildered Kangin asked. "Neither of you are women."

"We are going to try adoption." Eunhyuk explained in a much calmer voice. "Donghae and I have decided we wanted to start a family of our own, and this was the way to go."

There was a pause before a suddenly thrilled Leeteuk hugged Donghae to him tightly. He gave a loud squeal in the younger's ear.

"Donghae that's wonderful news! Congratulations!" He said happily.

"I know! I'm going to be a daddy and Hyukkie is going to be a mommy!"

"Wait, why am I the mom? I am also a man." Eunhyuk argued with his arms crossed.

"Well you bottom so you’re the mommy." Donghae calmly replied.

Across the room Onew and Minho watched the exchange with wide eyes. When Onew heard the choking sound next to him he raised a hand a hit the others back a couple of times. Minho was finally able to breath normally and gave a whispered thanks to the other. Onew hummed his reply, his eyes never leaving the free entertainment that was in front of him.

"Donghae you bottom too." Eunhyuk hissed under his breath.

"Yes, but not as often as you." Donghae countered with a tongue stuck out.

Kangin looked rather pale in the face and Leeteuk was trying to keep the laugh down. Apparently this type of conversation was normal for Eunhyuk and Donghae as neither seemed bother that the topic was being discussed in a rather public place. But Leeteuk finally had enough and started to giggle.

"You two never disappoint in making me laugh. But I think we have heard enough of that topic. Let's get back to the fact you are adopting. That is very exciting and a big responsibility, are you sure you are up for it?"

"Of course hyung. We are both financially stable and have jobs where we can change our schedules if needed. We also think this is a good next step for us."

"Doesn't marriage come before a baby?" Kangin asked.

"Well what's the point in doing that? We already share everything and our names are already the same. We pretty much are already married." Eunhyuk argued back.

Both men had to nod at this. That actually made sense.

"So when do we get to meet them?" Leeteuk asked.

"Soon we hope. We are in the final stages of getting approved. It was rather difficult to find an adoption agency that would allow for us to do this. But we were assured there shouldn't be any problems."

"We will be sure to bring the baby over soon after we get them. I'm hoping for a girl personally."

Leeteuk pulled Eunhyuk into a hug. As a hyung who was very close with him, the news that they were going to be parents was very exciting. He released him and led him to a table. The four of them took a seat as they continued their conversation about babies and the future and everything else. Onew watched them with a smile before he went back to work. He was looking forward to when the soon to be parents bring their baby into the café.

The next few days had the café in a subdued excitement. Everyone in their group of friends knew about the big news and were waiting on bated breath for the day the couple came in with a baby. Some of them were more impatient than others, Heechul being the type to call constantly for any updates. But nothing happened. Eunhyuk reminded everyone that it was going to take time for the agency to not only approve them, but also find them the perfect kid to adopt. Onew hoped, for everyone's sanity, that it would be sooner than later.

The baby talk has taken over all forms of conversation inside the building. Jonghyun was wondering what it would take for Key to agree to kids and Taemin looked terrified at the idea of someone younger than him running around. Joon from next door laughed at the idea and Ren, the hairstylist at Nu'est, found the whole thing fascinating to watch. But the best was Nichkhun who came over to announce that he and Minho would be the next to have kids and that they all had to wait until after. Minho looked absolutely scandalized by it and Jonghyun was quick to announce dibs for the next spot.

The regular Hyungs that also visited the café were swept in it as well. Leeteuk was excited about turning some aspects of the place to a daycare center and Heechul wanted to know when the couple was visiting him in China with the baby. Yesung had all sorts of questions to asked, some more odd than others. While Kyuhyun seemed rather uninterested in the whole topic. But Sungmin was clearly on the baby trend. Onew wondered what it would actually be like when the baby finally arrived.

And Eunhyuk and Donghae were on cloud nine the entire time. It was as if nothing was going to ruin their happy mood.

After a long and stressful two months the café was decorating their main room for the baby shower. It was finally the day where everyone was going to meet the new baby. There was a scare a month back where the adoption agency told the couple that they may not be able to adopt due to their relationship but it all luckily cleared up before it actually became an issue. So everyone was in high spirits as they hung streamers and balloons all over the place. All of the hyungs had taken time out of their day to be there for the new welcome. Even Heechul made a special visit to Korea to meet the baby. He was unfortunately alone since Han Geng could not get away from his work, but he was behaving himself rather nicely. He was even helping with the decorations with a bright smile on his face. They only had a little time left before Eunhyuk  and Donghae arrived and they wanted everything to be perfect for the baby as well.

Minho was tying the last of the Welcome banner to the ceiling when the café bell gave the traditional jingle of someone entering. The entire room turned as Donghae and Eunhyuk entered the room. In Eunhyuk's arms was a little Korean girl who looked close to the age of one or two. She had short black hair that was pulled up in a small pony tail and dark almond colored eyes. She was wearing a simple blue dress with frills and cute matching black shoes. Her wide eyes were looking curiously around the room. Almost as one, the whole group made their way to her. The sudden rush of people made her suddenly shy and she hid her face in Eunhyuk's chest. The dancer gave a low chuckle as he pressed plump lips to her chubby cheeks which made her pulled back slightly and smile.

"Oh my god Eunhyuk," Leeteuk was the first to gush in a gentle voice as to not startle her. "She is absolutely adorable."

"I know right. She is the prettiest thing ever." Donghae replied back with a proud smile. He reached over and tickled her cheek with his finger. "I think we got the prettiest baby ever."

"All parents say that about their kids." Heechul replied with a grin. "What's her name?"

The two men looked at each other and then at the little girl with proud and fond smiles.

"Eunhae." They announced together.

There was a short across the room from Kyuhyun who shook his head in disbelief. But the others seemed to love the name and they started to coo again at the little girl. They called her by her name in a cute baby voice in order to get her attention. She seemed more comfortable with the large number of men paying attention to her and smiled in an adorable way at them. She was one who was happy with being the center of attention. Eunhyuk shifted her a bit in his arms and pressed his lips to her cheek again. Donghae stood next to his boyfriend and his new daughter and was also cooing at her with a big smile on his face. It was obvious the two were beyond thrilled at their new addition.

When everyone had their fill at cooing at her the group took turns holding her and getting some special one on one time. She was being passed between all of them with the next person clamoring over to hopefully get their next turn sooner. It was obvious that the baby fever was going to intensify because of her.

When Minho turned to hand Onew the baby the man froze. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to hold her, it was that he had a unfortunate memory of dropping a puppy one time that his biggest fear was dropping a baby as well. So he gave a sharp shake of his head and stepped away from the group. Minho seemed to understand his mistake and gave a sheepish smile before passing the baby to Taemin instead. Minho followed after him and the two sat at a table away from the excitement.

"I'm sorry hyung, I forgot." The man muttered softly.

"It's okay Minho, I forget a lot myself. I was so excited and happy for our hyungs that I didn’t remember my own fear until you turned to me with her. I hope they don’t think I'm rude or anything."

"No, I don’t think so. But just to be safe. You should probably say something to them."

Onew nodded his agreement and looked at the group.

The baby had seemed to make her rounds and was now back in Donghae's arms. The man was bouncing her in his lap and was cheerfully chatting with Kibum who seemed rather interested in the baby. Eunhyuk was laughing with Leeteuk as he was explaining something with large hand gestures. The rest of the group had broken off in their own groups and were happily chatting with each other. Minho had bumped shoulders with him and offered him a smile before standing up to head over to the group again. Onew continued to stay in his seat as he watched everyone. A small grin appeared on his face as he watch little Eunhae gurgle something to her new daddy.

"You know, it would probably be better to get closer to her if you are, you know, actually close to her." A voice from behind him said.

Turning he looked up at Heechul who was staring down at him with a smirk on his face.

"Hyung." He muttered softly. "I'm not really good with kids."

"I don’t think that's the case. You do a pretty good job keeping everyone here in good health and spirits. You are a natural with people. Eunhae is just a regular person. Besides being you know a baby."

"A really fragile baby that can easily break if I do anything wrong." Onew muttered.

"Man you do have some baby issues." Heechul replied with a shake of his head. "Just remember its just a really little person. And you should be fine."

"Easy for you to say." Onew softly replied as the man left. He turned back to Eunhae who had found playing with Sungmin's necklace. The baby had a bright toothless smile as she tugged on it with enthused glee. Onew smiled again.

"Not right away, but soon I will hold you like all the others. This I promise you, our new little Eunhae." He whispered softly. "Please be patient with your cowardly oppa until then."

Standing up he went over to the rest of the group. He knew Eunhae was going to be the best thing that happened to their little café. She was after all surrounded by all these people who were going to love and protect her with all of their being. And as Eunhyuk leaned across the baby to kiss Donghae on the lips, Onew knew that this was the best type of family to have at all.
