“agasshi, you will kill all the fish if you feed them so much” the maid said worriedly as she saw hye ryeong throw so much of fish food into the pond, but that is what hye ryeong has been trying to do, she knew what she was doing, and she also knew that he treasures those fish so much
‘what can he achieve by treasuring some pet fish when he sold his own daughter for power’ she said to herself, that is when her father stepped in and demanded her an explination
“don’t you know that they are your father’s treasured fish ?” she sighed in annoyance and a little sadness at his thought, but had a reply for him

Ever since she returned back after becoming healthy, she had to work for gwi again, he always said that she resembled some myung hee, and she had to lure kim sung yeol to him, she faced sung yeol who desperately thought she was myung hee instead of hye ryeong and even hugged her in public,  she slapped him and left and didn’t report that she met him to gwi, the desperation he had in his eyes showed that he was not someone to be harmed and she couldn’t do that yet, if she did that she will be no different than her father who was carving too much for power that he could even lay his child’s life in danger. Life is something precious to anyone and no one has the right to kill others despite any reason she always thought. But having to do all these things was against what she grew up in child hood, when she has a mother who took care of her than now her taking care of her mother, she was struggling hard between the two things that are opposites, be the good one and fall prey to gwi since that is what her father will do if she went against him and die, or carve for power and live. All these thoughts gave her a headache. Trying to find some solace she came to one place that she stayed for the last four years, when she was terribly sick and someone helped her, someone who took the place of her mother in taking care of her as she was ill and made her healthy again, someone she found a mother in. asking her maid to leave her alone for sometime hye ryeong entered the temple, it was almost noon, so why not go and offer some food as she can spend some time in the temple, hye ryeong knocked on the door.

“I hope you are not going in the same path that your father choose” yoon’s mother said to him, that was the only worry she has and distanced herself from him, to let him live and not follow his father’s footsteps against gwi, yoon didn’t reply honestly since he knew he was following that path, he wanted revenge, and he didn’t want his kingdom to be under a vampire’s control, soon he changed the topic and asked her again
“please come back to the palace”
“why didn’t you come and visit me till now ?” she questioned
“I thought if I didn’t come you would come for me”  he knew he acted stubborn, in the angry of her leaving him, she didn’t want to visit her, but couldn’t stay long away from her and finally gave in, his mother laughed a little at his reply,
“I plan to live my life here yoon-ah, just promised me one thing”
“please tell me”
“don’t let me mourn the same way I had to for your father” and once again he knew he couldn’t answer her, he was the lustful student she didn’t want him to be. He was saved when someone knocked on the door

“mother, lunch is ready” hye ryeong said as she knocked on the door, if it was her normal self she would have went in after knock, but there were an extra pair of shoes means she had a visitor. Yoon’s mother could recognize that voice and called her in
“come in, I have someone to introduce you to” hearing that hye ryeong slowly opened the door and stepped in
“hye ryeong ah, meet my son lee yoon” she said to her and then to yoon “yoon-ah, meet her, the gap you created she always fulfilled, she always made time to talk to me” seeing that there was a little dissatisfaction in her towards her son, hye ryeong immediately said
“no mother, if it weren’t you I wouldn’t have been healthy as I am now, I am very grateful for that” hye ryeong said politely,
“really, I am very thankful for that then” yoon said as he felt thankful for her that she accompanied her mother and then looked towards her, he just smiled at hye reong as he remembered that he saw her earlier once on the street, the lady who dropped off her handkerchief.  Leaving the mother and son to have their talk, Hye reong excused herself from there later,  his eyes, they were so pretty she thought as she closed the door behind her but mentally slapped herself at that thought as she shouldn’t think of anyone else but the crown prince whom she will marry as she requested gwi as that is the only way she could get her wish fulfilled.

it was her only motive, after what he had did to her and her mother, selling her for a vampire and causing her mother to become like that, lose her mental stability.

The next day, she went to the market, since she hasn’t still completed the task gwi has given her, find kim sung yeol and she did find him in one of the streets, unlike the longing look that was there when he first approached her, now he was looking at her with questions in his eyes, may be now he was wondering if I am her or not, but the longing he had for his lover for such a long time, 120 years made him gain respect from him, she bowed and smiled to him before she continued walking. But seeing him follow her, she decided to give him the answer to his confusion
“I am not the one who you think you are”
“I know, but why did you smile to me just now ?” he asked, he knew and yet followed her ? why ? but being her now self she let out a cold laugh and said
“I thought you would go and call me myung hee again” and she left there and walked a few steps into her house, the prime minister’s house, though she didn’t intend this way for it to happen but she let him know her house and whose daughter she was as he followed. Later that night when she was called bu gwi to report any news she told him that sung yeol now knew whose daughter she was and gwi once again said her to make him believe it was myung hee.

And since there were too many troubles caused by him being the lustful student, all his followers are being captured and punished, what concerned him more was yang sun, being one of the book sellers who sold lustful student’s books, yang sun also had to leave the place and flee to the other land, when previously he got to knew  that she was a girl, and now seeing her in a real girls costume, he knew that she was indeed pretty and it torn him more that she was leaving because of him
“promise me that you will write to me frequently” he asked her
“de hyung-nim, I will” yang sun assured him while her eyes were still in the direction where sung yeol left.  Many things happened, and yang sun’s father had to declare that he was the lustful student and had to die, yoon got to know that the king his grandfather whom he loathed all these years for not doing anything for his father was actually doing things to go against gwi but in secret, which made his heart at ease, but now he together with the king had to act as if he changed his mannerisms and lost the will to fight gwi, to act like he was now not the kind prince once he was but a cold  one who seeks power more than his people’s welfare.

                      
“ hye reong ah, do prayers for the followers of ‘lustful students’ ”  yoon’s mother asked her, hye reong was shocked, what could have happened that she is requesting for that ? and why ?
“why  ? ” she asked hoping that she could hear her reasons
“hye reong ah, lustful student isn’t someone bad, he just wanted to show people a way that they can live their lives by themselves without help of a vampire thirsting for their blood” hye reong soon remembered how she had to offer to gwi peoples blood to drink, and also how he almost tried to bite her once when she went to inform him of the flyers outlining his existence. She didn’t show her fear on her face but she was very much frightened that day, she thought that might be the end of her.
but then there was another vampire, kim sung yeol who followed her that day, what a vampire stuck life she was living in. but what has those innocent people’s death mean, they were all fighting against vampire that seeks human blood, as the mother suggested, hye ryeong went to the temple to offer prayers for the dead.

“what do you think you are doing ?” an angry voice said as startling her, she turned around to see lee yoon,
“why are you praying for lustful students followers ? don’t you know they are the ones against the king” he startled her, but she was not any less than him, there were somethings that she could decide herself, and praying for their souls to have peace isn’t wrong, soon she replied him coldly
“is praying for dead that much wrong ?” her reply made him wonder why does she not have fear for being labeled as a traitor, he himself had to do that, though he had an ulterior motive of finding the secret plan, due to the present situations he himself has hid the motives being a crown prince and a normal citizen was doing that
“you could be named as a traitor for this if you know” he said to her coldly, it was a warning for her to not commit such things in future
“it is me who asked her to do that” yoon’s mother defended hye ryeong as she heard him accusing for that while she was entering the temple. She took over from there as she talked over that to him. he knew that his mother doing that thing is understandable as it was something related to his father, but why hye ryeong ? even yang sun had decided to leave for good, why was she doing it upon one request ? Does hye ryeong give such value to his mother ? does she really means more to his mother than to him that she choose her to do such thing thank ask her son, many questions filled his heart but one question more prominent, who are you ?
