“please I will do it” hye ryeong asked sung yeol as they both sat in silence after her bursting out on finding the hidden letter
“why do you want to do it?” sung yeol asked her, a sacrifice why does she want to sacrifice herself for love and die in name of gwi, already he saw her dying infront of his eyes, she stabbed herself and asked him to take her blood and live, giving him a life she died once, and again she is willing to die for who ? ad hye ryeong answered the question in his mind
“lee oppa”  
“what ?” sung yeol asked wondering who it was
“you have friends kim sung yeol, the friends you started doing this for, the then crown prince jung hyun and your first love myeong hee, you are doing this for them right ? it was their cause , to be precise the prince’s wish to get rid of gwi and myeong hee helped you survive and get that done by sacrificing herself, you do this for them if I am not wrong ?” hye ryeong asked as she put together all the information she had about kim sung yeol, sung yeol nodded, as he remembered everything, the most two important people who once existed in his life flashed in his mind and one of their look alike is currently asking this question to him, bewildered he was but he has an answer for hye ryeong too
“yes I am doing it for them, if not they would have died for nothing, gwi has to die, but what about you ?”
“I am doing this for my oppa”
“who is that ?” sung yeol asked, he was also a person with full information about hye ryeong first he gathered due to curiosity and then for her being gwi’s person which she clearly was not now but he didn’t knew she has an oppa
“like they were your friends you could do anything for, oppa is my only friend in a friendship that didn’t even last a day” hye ryeong said as she reminisced the time in her childhood where she talked out to yoon and asked him to share him troubles with her and became friends with him.  sung yeol waited for her to explain clearly and hye ryeong told him about her that friend, she loved years back and now too and that oppa she is married to now but also who is in love with yang sun. Sung yeol asked her a question
“doesn’t he know who you are ?” hye ryeong answered him bitterly
“I don’t think that will be needed since I am going to be out of his way to yang sun”
“what do you mean by that ?” sung yeol immediately asked her angrily since that meant he should leave yang sun too, but his anger cooled down since he knew he can do nothing about that too. Seeing his expression calm down a little hye ryeon spoke again
“I will stab myself instead of king with the silver sword, and since the royal and the guardian vampire both are fated to die with the death of gwi, I want it to be me since, after our leaving” it is hard for her to say but she have , closing her eyes she completed her sentence
“I want the king and yang sun to be together so that they can have a happy life” sung yeol couldn’t say anything but feel sorry for his and her’s situation, she is once again going to sacrifice herself, now for the king ; hye ryeong or indeed myeong hee’s reincarnation is a person full of love but a one gifted with an unlucky fate as he was. Sung yeol accepted her proposal, since her plan satisfies all the requirements there will be no trouble too in getting rid of gwi since she is now a royal and also if he died and also the king, who is yang sun’s friend, she might not be able to handle things well, it is for good that the king should be alive so that after him he can take care of yang sun since the queen didn’t mind that, a little selfish on this thought he knew but all he wanted is yang sun’s well being like hye ryeong wanted the king’s which can be only achieved after we both die and they can be together sung yeol thought.
hye ryeong know what she was doing, The blood and everything else, can be done by no one but her since she is someone gwi let’s in for whatever reason she didn’t bother of, she can get his blood by doing something and see if she can get that smelled by the horse to search for the right place for gwi’s burial.
“please exclude the last part of a royal stabbing when you talk to the king later, rest I will handle”
She asked sung yeol after he agreed to her plan, she thought the royal stabbing need not be known to him, she can do that part since she is a royal now.
“I will not” sung yeol assured her, hye ryeong stood up to leave back to the palace when she heard him speaking again
“myeong hee ah, thank you” she didn’t understand what is that thank you for, and she clearly is not myeong hee, so she asked
“why are you thanking me ?”
“for sacrificing yourself for me, I couldn’t thank you then and also for now for thinking so much” sung yeol meant what he said, she is really someone that goes out of way for her loved ones and this reincarnation of her gained respect from him more, his reply earned a smile from hye ryeong and then she spoke
“should I call you oraboeni again then ?” hye  ryeong joked as she imitated myeong hee and used the word she uses, sung yeol laughed at her words and replied
“I am afraid not, but you can call me brother-in-law till the gwi’s death day arrives” since now he already thought of yoon as his younger brother and she is someone respectable as the queen of the nation and his brother’s wife while his brother is in an unrequited love at the moment. All of their fates were entangled in various ways,
“sure brother-in-law, please do take care of your brother during the battle” hye ryeong joked, but that joke didn’t last long, since that meant her death and also sung yeol’s death, she decided things there and returned to palace that night only to see king curious, she can’t face him yet, though she will never regret losing her life for him she didn’t want to bother him by that fact, she wanted to compose herself first and better thought not to reply to him yet. What hye ryeong doesn’t know then was on how yoon felt seeing her silent like that.

“hye ryeong ah, are you fine ?” she was brought back to reality by yoon’s words, lost in her thought she completely forgot she was in between a conversation with yoon.
“yes sunbae, I am fine, sorry I was lost for a moment” hye ryeong apologized to him, what was she thinking on for so long, he was actually trying and calling her for a while now but his words didn’t reach her ears, so he decided to jolt her up and that is when she was back to reality, what is she thinking so hard ? and this thought is bothering him too much.
“sunbae, even though the thought of kim sung yeol dying may be a sad news please understand that it is something needed and cannot be avoided ” hye ryeong said to yoon trying to assure him since after a few days he will find a happiness hidden in the present sadness. Yoon just nodded to her, he knew he has to accept this fact no matter he liked it or not.
“sunbae, do you want to have some tea ? I am trying to brew it sweeter” hye ryeong said with a cheerful expression, since she wanted to have her few days seeing him smile and from what she heard from his mother at the temple, her child is someone who likes sweets a lot, she scolded herself since she forgot that fact earlier in the morning and used less sweetening, she really wanted to brew him a good tea since he has a liking for them and that she can do without worrying about her position in his heart as a friend.
“how do you know I like sweet food ?” yoon asked as he wanted his tea to be a little sweeter but didn’t say her though
“I heard it from your mother sunbae, so do you want some tea sunbae ?” hye ryeong asked him again with a smile. Yoon nodded to her seeing her enthusiasm. Hye ryeong left for the kitchen so that she can brew him a tea while yoon opened his table and took out a sheet of rolled paper. He unfolded it to complete the drawing which he left half way earlier. He took out hye ryeong’s drawing that he drew earlier and dipped his brush in the ink drew over the light patterns that he drew and left half way that night and completed drawing with a smile.
“I am going to give this to you once it is completed hye ryeong ah, only the colors are left which I will finish tonight when you are asleep” yoon said to himself proud at the drawing he made, he decided to do this in secret since that is when he get to see a peaceful face of her away from all the tensions, her coldness and all, a peaceful her will be there before him, he really like that side of her, away from all the mystery and confusion he has when he was around her. Why are you doing this? a voice in his head asked, he didn’t even ask her permission to make her drawing, why ? he remembered the small smiles that night hye ryeong gave off once a while when she was asleep may be dreaming of something good and he has an answer to that question
“because she is a lot more beautiful when she leaves back the sadness, and her smile” yoon answered with a smile on his face.

“sunbae I got the tea” hye ryeong said as she was outside the door before opening, yoon immediately rolled his paper and put it back in the desk and looked at the direction of the door as if he did nothing the whole time. Hye ryeong slowly placed the tray down again the same way she did earlier and pored him some tea and handed it to him, waiting curiously and trying to read his expression if he likes it or not. Yoon sipped the tea and it is really sweeter than it was previously and it surely enhanced it’s taste to his liking
“I love the tea” he said as he took one more sip of it enjoying its aroma
“thank you sunbae” hye ryeong said satisfied that yoon loved the tea. Yoon finished his tea with and decided to come into the serious matters, gwi. He decided that he don’t want to make any delay in his death, so he said
“hye ryeong ah, I am planning to leave for search of the place required for gwi’s burial tomorrow” hye ryeong knew it was the time she has to do it, with no fear she stated
“I will go to the underground palace tonight then majety, we need his blood for this to be successful ” yoon couldn’t help but be concerned for her safety, he definitely doesn’t want her in the vicinity of gwi again, but then again if someone can trick gwi and get at least a drop of his blood it is no one but hye ryeong. But he can’t let her go in alone too, yoon already decided what to do and said
“please be careful, I am going to come with you and wait near to his place, I will also send a word to kim sung yeol that you are going in tonight and if you are not going out in an hour, I am going to come in with the guards, arasso ?” is this concern for me oppa ? hye ryeong thought as she heard his words, but she dropped asking that question and asked him
“why sunbae ? what if gwi get’s furious ?” since if gwi finds out yoon will be in trouble
“like I said I can’t put even one life in danger for sake of getting rid of gwi”and definitely not you, I can’t lose you too, I can’t even imagine standing alone again yoon said the last few words in his mind and looked towards hye ryeong. Hye ryeong just nodded in his agreement, I am just another life from the numerous people of his country, hye ryeong thought but she also knew that him giving her that much atleast is enough for her. Yoon started writing a letter so that he could send it to sung yeol while hye ryeong watched him doing that, her thoughts went again towards him and seeing him she told herself
I may not be able to tell you this directly oppa, but I love you. Please be happy after me with yang sun and I wish you will love me back in the next life .
