Why are you here now ?” gwi asked as hye ryeong entered his palace
“it is nearing the full moon day and it is time for you to have blood, since you couldn’t come out for a few days”
“and why couldn’t I come out ?” gwi asked her, hye ryeong knew he is roaming around during night but she needed a reason for her entry and decided on what she has to tell
“people are already suspicious and a lot of stories have been going around about you”
“should I believe that ?” hye ryeong could hear suspision in gwi's voice, she has to act as if she caught on nothinng and like as self who carved for power being on gwi's side,
“I just came here to serve you the blood, no matter what is going on, I still saw you from my childhood and served you, I can’t let that go”
“I thought you forgot that after power” gwi mocked hye ryeong with a sarcastic expression, hye ryeong didn’t respond for that, she knew she has no answer but she moved towards one of the dead guards and slit his hand with a knife and extracted some blood for gwi and handed it in a bowl, a bowl she secretly broke an edge so that it has become sharper, her plan is simple, somehow make gwi catch that part of the bowl, so that he gets a cut and then she will clean the wound by herself again and use that cloth stained with his blood for the plan. Hye ryeong took steps towards gwi’s throne and handed him his bowl, today she took a few steps ahead of where she always stands, a little closer to gwi, today she feared for her life, every day she came earlier into this place she previously welcomed death hoping she could be free after death and that didn’t happen, but now she doesn’t want to die at the moment since yoon is waiting for her outside and also for the one thing she is doing without regret , she is both confident and weak now. She slowly handed the blood to gwi and he took it, as she expected he caught it in the right place she wanted. Gwi hissed in pain for a second and threw that bowl away in frustration and looked at hye ryeong
“you call this as loyality towards me ?” there he went mocking her again, but hye ryeong took the opportunity,
“I am sorry didn’t notice it was broken” and took her steps and cleaned the wound on his palm, she achieved what she needed, and left without gwi doubting her.

“don’t be so worried majesty, she will be fine” kim sung yeol said as he saw yoon’s worried expression
“how can I not be ? she is my queen” yoon  said not realizing that he added ‘my’ there, but it didn’t get unnoticed by sung yeol, ‘my ? does this mean you acknowledged her and she is still unaware of that ? sung yeol immediately asked
“what ?” because he saw her pain, pain that she is having loving yoon and thinking that he doesn’t acknowledge her in that regards, but if that isn’t the case it would be better if she at least knew that she is of importance to him, it will definitely help her
“what ? I didn’t get you ?” yoon asked sung yeol since he didn’t understand what sung yeol meant by asking that question and his mind was already occupied with worry of what is happening inside that he can’t think of anything else.sung yeol decided it is best to ask him directly
“majesty, do you still like yang sun ?” there fell awkwardness,  sung yeol asked since he wanted to clarify, he thought it is unfair for hye ryeong to not at least know what yoon thinks and also that he himself want to know answers, because even if yoon likes hye ryeong back it will still be a sad thing since for the second time yoon will be broke for people leaving him, three people are going to get effected in the current events that if doesn’t include himself, yoon, hye ryeong and yang sun.
do I like yang sun anymore ? Or is that place taken by someone else ? yoon asked himself in his mind, and what does he really think of hye ryeong, he empathizes her, she is similar to him in many aspects and they both suffered from childhood, but what does that mean ? do he like hye ryeong now ? did he already give her a place in his heart ? many questions and no answers yoon thought, that is when a guard spoke
“the queen is coming” and like hye ryeong walked with a smile towards him, a smile that filled his heart, the answer to all his question , I guess I started falling for you my queen he said to himself, and this time he acknowledged how he said her to be my queen, queen of his heart.
“sunbae, here” hye ryeong extended the blood stained robe towards him happy for her accomplishment
“you are really brave” sung yeol interrupted after a few seconds, only then yoon realized that he was staring at her without responding to her, hye ryeong smiled to sung yeol in response, seeing both hye ryeong and yoon’s expression one with enthusiasm and one with a sort of realization, sung yeol decided that it is best for him to leave
“I will take my leave then majesty” he thought he can leave when yoon approached him and asked “when I leave tomorrow for search of that place, please check on the queen, I fear her safety if she is alone in the palace”
“sure majesty” sung yeol thought he will already do that since she is already helping them so much it is his responsbilty to protect her. Yoon came back towards hye ryeong and spoke
“did you not fear going there alone ?” yoon asked and then slapped for the dumbest question he can ask and he knew the answer before hye ryeong giving him
“I went there alone for more than a decade of my life” yoon laughed at his stupidity and so did hye ryeong seeing him laugh.
“I want you to come with me to some place”
“to the temple sunbae ?” hye ryeong asked thinking he might want to visit his mother before going on the search
“no somewhere else” yoon said as he suggested hye ryeong to follow him, hye ryeong followed him and as they neared, she could already sense where it was, the cliff top, and why is he bringing her there ? does he remember what happened here ? Confusion crept her.
yoon on the other hand was happy, a feeling he didn’t experience even with yang sun, even if things have worked out with yang sun he never would have thought to bring her to a place which gave him comfort only for a few moments it may be but it did, but with hye ryeong he wanted to share that place, for some reason he feels that hye ryeong can relate more to that place than yang sun, and true it was, it is a meaningful place for her, but now she was confused.
“why did you bring me here sunbae ?” she asked wanting to hear his intentions
“this place, isn’t it peaceful ?”
“sure it is sunbae, it is peaceful, it feels like we are at a place where there is nothing left to worry about, every worry is left at the bottom of the cliff, no burdens or anything else” hye ryeong said, this is what her definition of this place is, though the number of times she visited here can be counted on fingertips, this meant a lot to her and it is indeed somewhere she can always find some solace
“I thought you will like it” yoon said happily, the explanation she gave really delighted him, it felt like he was hearing his thoughts from her, like they have communicated without words being necessary and they still talked a thousand words.
“it is beautiful” hye ryeong said as she sat on a rock and admired the view, happy that he didn’t forget this place, happy that he thought he finds this place peaceful.

It has been more than a day since yoon left and sung yeol put a few of his men to look over hye ryeong. He already said yang sun the plan but now excluding the part of his death like hye ryeond hid that she will die. Just as yoon was depresses thinking on what will happen to yang sun if sung yeol dies, yang sun was depressed thinking how will yoon react if the queen dies, it is like the story played the same with people changed. Sung yeol was happy at the moment that yang sun didn’t doubt him, and she was happy that she can help in taking down gwi, and he knew now what kind of relief it gave and understood hye ryeong’s actions better. Sung yeol wanted to do something for yang sun, something like one last gift, but what will be the most appropriate thing which will not make her sad when she see’s that in future but will always smile ? he didn’t know the answer. Hoping he still have time to think. He decided to visit hye ryeong and check on her.

“you draw well” sung yeol said as he saw hye ryeong drawing on a sheet of paper
 “you know myeong hee is also good at this” he further said and studied the drawing, , a cliff, tree and two people sitting, hye ryeong smiled in response and continued drawing while sung yeol put a thought into it, a cliff is this the cliff where she met yoon ?
“why are you drawing yourself and majesty together ? you two did not visit there together right ?” he asked soon upon realization
“we did visit there brother-in-law, after gwi’s palace he took me there ”
“does this means he remember you ?” sung yeol asked her curiously
“he finds that place to be peaceful for his heart and I am happy knowing that” hye ryeong replied gladly to sung yeol sharing her happiness with him.
“then why are you drawing it for ?”
“I want to gift him this brother-in-law, like a gift when we first met ,I want to gift him for the last time, something that he may like and may smile remembering our friendship” hye ryeong explained gladly, she really want that, by now she already accepted that she is dying, there was no bitterness when she said those words since she has no regret in deciding to do that. But to sung yeol it sounded like a sad story and not to mention the confusion yoon has when he asked if he liked yang sun anymore, a no he can see in yoon’s eyes and he has to tell this to hye ryeong
“I think majesty is in love with you hye ryeong ah” sung yeol said to hye ryeong,
“don’t joke brother-in-law” hye ryeong said as she stopped her drawing thinking he is joking but sung yeol was serious
“no I saw it in his eyes”
“even I saw it in his eyes , the care and love he has for yang sun, I saw him in tears, I saw him taking care of yang sun himself, and I heard him asking you to live and make happy, all this doesn’t happen without love”  she said with a serious tone, how can he think that yoon likes her she thought, and if there was any evidence, when she told yoon he can have a mistress if he wanted, yoon didn’t object but remained silent, it was enough answer hye ryeong thought
“I think that is in the past now” sung yeol said since he believed that yoon has a spot in his heart for hye ryeong though he himself may have not recognized yet. It could not have changed, yoon feels responsibility towards her but that definitely was not love, even if it was she can’t let him die, hye ryeong already knew that much and nothing is going to change what she thought of doing, she declared
“even if it changes I am still going to go with what I decided” sung yeol could only sigh. There was tension and seriousness , but sung yeol thought to break it, he decided to joke on something anything about her love for yoon
“you know I wonder if there was a yoon back there 120 years ago too and you ,myeong hee cheated on me ”
“I don’t know that, but if yoon was there, I might have cheated on you then” hye ryeong said playfully as she came back to her normal self, if really she was myeong hee’s reincarnation, but if yoon was there and sung yeol too and her present self, she would have choose yoon back then too, but myeong hee was not her since myeong hee died for sung yeol but not for yoon
“don’t worry, myeong hee was not me” she added
“sure not, my myeong hee died for me” sung yeol said proudly, he was happy that he can have these conversations with hye ryeong, it was like the grief of myeong hee finally disappeared seeing her, and myeong hee is someone who he has known from his childhood days, and like jung hyun was she was a dear friend to him whom he shared a great friendship with even before their love.  Seeing hye ryeong he felt as if he got that friendship back and put that foot for her, hye ryeong didn’t hesitate his friendship too, for hye ryeong sung yeol was someone can relate her sadness to, all her childhood she heard things on what sung yeol did from gwi and always has respect for him which grew after meeting him directly, it felt like having an older brother she never had who can enjoy their time together talking their experiences and teasing one another on their lovers.
“did you tell yang sun ?” hye ryeong asked him as the thought of lovers crossed her mind
“I did, but excluded my death since it will only bring grief from now and will help on nothing” sung yeol said to hye ryeong
“we are doing the right thing” hye ryeong stated since that is the only way they both can protect and ensure future of their loved ones to which sung yeol nodded In agreement.

the next morning,hye ryeong visited her mother and spent some time there and stayed till dawn and after dinner she waited till her mother fell asleep. Sitting beside the sleeping figure hye ryeong said
“omma, sorry that I am not able to protect you any more, I am sorry but I am going to die” tears flowed, but her responsibility didn’t die, on the way back to palace hye ryeong thought about her responsibility, she called her maid into her cabinet and told her everything, if there was anyone she can entrust her mother to, it was her maid since she has already know her and has been taking care of her for years. The maid cried in sorrow hearing that hye ryeong will be going to die, hye ryeong asked her not to cry and be strong and help her in this one. The maid nodded in agreement.

yoon could find a place, a place where his horse finally stopped after a day journey, and a day return, he already ordered his men to build a grave made of hard wood and retured, he reached his or their quarters, he thought hye ryeong might have already been asleep so without making much noise he thought of going in, he was about to open the door when he heard
“here, have this money” hye ryeong’s voice
“agasshi, I can’t take money for this, I can’t, please let me be loyal to you” the maid pleaded she can’t be taking money from her master and all she has done, though hye ryeong was always cold she never mis treated her and taking money now will mean she can’t be loyal to her miss the maid though
“I know you are loyal to me but this will help your survival later so don’t reject it” hye ryeong said, she trusted the tears her maid let and felt happy that she found someone who can take care of her mother, but survival needs money and hye ryeong knew she will need it in future, the maid could not reject anymore and accepted
“I will take care of her like she is my own mother Agassi, please be ensured” the maid said assuring ye ryeong again, hye ryeong nodded to her. Taking care of hye ryeong’s mother ? why ? yoon didn’t understand at all. Hye ryeong dismissed her maid for the day and thought of sleeping. Yoon waited for the maid to come out and she did in a few moments
“why did the queen make you such request ?” he asked her, not just asked, it was demanding an answer because hye ryeong making that request is something really serious since he knew hye ryeong loves her mother very dearly.

hye ryeong ready to die for him
when i previously saw, i didn't understand their words just only assumed, but their words made me cry more, their love is so pure, yoon ryeong, made me feel more attatched to them,

i also didn't like the way sung yeol didn't come on time and heal hye ryeong, he only arrived after she was dead,
oh god, where have you been stuck all the time? why didn't you come early and heal her before she can die.
and poor yoon , he was there crying and saying
'i can't go on anymore' their love, is so great. yoon ryeong <3
