+ You hardly see her frown. Won Eunrin is known for her generous smiles. She likes to look on the positive side of things rather than the negative. If something bad happens, she'll think rationally and think good of it. For example, if someone died, Eunrin would feel sad for them but at the same time, she'll think "Perhaps they'll be happier up there than down here." or when something doesn't go her way, she'll think "There's a reason behind this and i can't give up yet." It's not that she is naive or anything but she knows that being sad and angry aren't going to change things unless she looks at the positive side. Her friendliness and generous smiles are what makes people easy to approach her or even confide in her.

+ Won EunRin is the type of person that you would turn to when you have problems because you know she will not judge. EunRin also doesn't take side if she doesn't know the whole story. EunRin knows when to comment and when to just sit and listen without a word. When it comes to things that she thinks she knows, EunRin will give advices on that but when it's something that she's not familiar with, she'll keep quiet. Because of this, EunRin knows exactly how to approach people and how to interact with them. She knows how to tell a person subtly that their cooking is too salty without even actually telling them. She'll feed them their cooking as well and they'll know what their cooking taste like. Instead of humiliating someone out in public, EunRin always seek a private audience if she has something to say or confront. Even if it's someone she doesn't like

+ Being protective is also one of EunRin's traits. She learned it from her big brothers. When she was small, her big brothers often got her back and now, she's doing the same for her family and friends. It has become a habit of hers to step in front of the person she's protecting, eventhough it's just from a scolding. She often takes the blame whenever she and her friends are up to their shenanigans despite their protests. "It was my idea." She would often say. When she's driving and had to break abruptly, he hand would immediately shot up to the passenger seat, to stop the passenger from slamming his/her  head on the dashboard. She do this instintively which means it still happens even when the passenger seat is empty.

+ Growing up with a brother who always joke and fool around has influenced EunRin to be just as cheeky, fun  and mischeivous as he is. EunRin likes to play around and is the mood maker. She knows how to cheer someone up just easily and crack jokes a lot. Even though at times, her jokes are lame. EunRin likes to tease anyone who is close to her but she knows her boundaries. She knows when to stop fooling around and get serious and when it is okay to actually play around.

- When EunRin likes someone, she'll avoid him. She don't know what to do or how to react to him, she won't even look at him even if she's talking to him. If she can help it, she wouldn't so much as look at him. But when she's talking to him, she'll stutter a lot because she's nervous and most of the time will avoid any eye contact.

- Won Eunrin tends to overthink. Even when it was a small matter, it will stay on her mind. She doesn't like it and she wanted to stop it but it doesn't work that way. It was something that she needed help with and most of the time, she needs assurance. When she's worried, it really shows on her face and affects her mood. Eunrin can do a good job at hiding her anger or sadness but when something is bothering her? It'll show on her face. She'll space out thinking about it and just couldn't shrug it off until it was settled.

- She can be an airhead sometimes, getting lost in her owl world. Won Eunrin even when she is observant, she can be very careless and clumsy and unaware of her surroundings. Especially when she's bothered by something. When something was on her mind, something that worries her, whatever you say will not be heard.

- It's hard for people to actually understand EunRin because she always hide her true feelings. If she's sad, she won't say she's sad. She'll just act as normal. Most of the time, she'll just brush it off but when it's something that really upsets her, EunRin would still keep quiet about it instead of talking it out. But when it comes to confrontation, EunRin makes sure to not say anything more than she needed to even if she has a lot to say.

Extra : None.

This is the life
Family:

— Big brother : Won Jongjin  / Cafe' owner & barista / 28 / slightly strict and possessive, highly intelligent / Very close

EunRin is close to her brother, Jongjin. He doesn't share the same friendly and warm demeanor as Eunrin but he cares a lot more than you think. Jongjin is pretty much distant with everyone including the parents but as an older brother, he is very protective of Eunrin. He understands her without even her conveying her feelings and always know what to do to make her feel better. Jongjin knows the right words to say or the right actions to take. Sometimes, his presence was enough for Eunrin. If Eunrin is the sun, then Jongjin is the moon. They're the complete opposite but they get along just well. Jongjin, despite his cold looks and sharp eyes, never once scolded Eunrin or raised a voice to her. If anything, he'll have a slow talk with her or let her learn from her own mistakes. Although he is strict, Won Jongjin knows how to have fun. Smiling and laughing are easy when he spends time with his baby sitter. In fact, he is a lot more fun than Eunrin thought he would be. He teases her a lot and likes to pull petty pranks on her.

Life Background:

Won EunRin comes from an average family of four. Her mother owned a cafe that is now belonged to both of her big brother. Her father works in a small corporate company but with enough salary to sustain the family.

In high school, she was average too. She barely passed her Maths and Science, she did an okay job in other subjects. Her parents, being typical sometimes compared her to her big brother but Eunrin never felt pressured. She only have good thoughts that her parents only wanted the best for her. Seeing how she always struggled with her subjects, Jongjin always helped her out with her subjects and never once did he downgraded her. Even if she messed up or didn't understand certain formulas after so many explanations, Jongjin never lost his temper or patience and made sure to compliment her when she did good. But Jongjin was never worried about Eunrin with her English or Arts subject. He never liked reading but Eunrin, on the other hand was an avid reader, a book hoarder and most of the books she read was in English.

During the summer, when she has nothing do, EunRin often helped out at the cafe. She helped out when it was her mother's and helped out still when her brother took over. It was one particular summer that Eunrin suddenly announced to her family that she wanted join SME. Her parents weren't very keen of it but they didn't object it. Her brother was genuinely worried about her abrupt decision so he sat down and talked to her. He had never heard her sing before nor did he ever heard of her talking about music. But when he asked her about it, Eunrin said that she had been thinking about it for a while now. The two sat in silence until her brother spoke again, asking her to sing. When she did, he was surprised. What he just heard was something that he was not expecting and he admitted she certainly have the voice and with the right training, perhaps then she could be a singer. So when Eunrin went to auditions, Jongjin didn't tell their parents.

How you became a trainee:
Every year, SM would hold an audition for new fresh talents. But Eunrin had been trying for three years in a row and didn't get in, not until her fourth try. It was 2012 and she was 17 years old by then while others were already debuting at this age. But Eunrin thought it would be a waste if she just quit now since she had been trying to get in for years.
From Busan to Seoul and living with the other trainees wasn't exactly rainbows and sunshines. It was hardwork and sleepless nights and lack of cash all the time. On her first day of training, Eunrin had no idea what she had to do so she just stood at a corner of the dance studio and watched the other trainees before slowly trying to follow the steps. She made friends easily with the others and learned from them as well. That night, after training, Eunrin went to her assigned dorm and realized that there were already 8 people in the house. She felt bad for them but the girls didn't complain. Even if she wasn't close to everyone, she never had any problem with them.
After 2 years of training, Eunrin was offered the chance to debut along in a girl group Red Velvet but she rejected it. She felt that she was not ready for debut yet and wanted to train some more and she already have a few other girls that she was close with that she wanted to debut together with them.
It wasn't until another 6 years that she again, offered the chance to debut and this time, she took it.

clothing style:

EunRin's style is inconsistent as she's the kind that likes a lot of things. Her fashion sense are according to her mood. If she feel like doning a retro style that week, she will don them. She'll tuck in her blue and grey striped shirt, put on a high waisted jeans, a pair of brown boots and a yellow bomber jacket.

But when she feels girly and giddy, EunRin would put on her best vintage looking dress. Instead of having bold colours like the retro style that she likes, this one mainly in pastels and in a lot of white. Most of her dresses and blouses have a lot of flower prints on them and she would put on her heels or boots with them.

Your lover :
Zhang Yixing / Lay | EXO + Crushing then dating

How you met?:
Eunrin only joined SME on the same year as his debut. They didn't train together nor attend classes together. Yixing had no idea who Eunrin was, at least not until two years later when she rejected the offer to debut with Red Velvet. They've exchanged greetings before, of course, in the hallways or in the lobby. It was just a really brief, simple "Annyeong, Lay sunbaenim!" from Eunrin most of the time. Lay never knew what her name was and only take note of her as "the smiley trainee" as she always smiled at him or at anyone. So when Eunrin rejected the offer, word spread fast through the SME and everybody was wondering which trainee was crazy enough to turn down such an offer? Just like everybody else, Lay was curious as well.
On the same day, Eunrin was having lunch in the SME cafeteria along with her other trainee friends. Their table was right next to EXO's. Not all members were there, only Jongdae, Sehun, Baekhyun, Xiumin and Lay was there and that was when they overheard the conversation between the girls.
"Why would you reject the offer?" One of girls asked.
Eunrin just shrugged with a smile on her face. "I just feel like I'm not ready yet." She paused. "And I don't feel connected to the girls." She referred to the Red Velvet.
Jung Minhee, her bestfriend frowned. "But still, relationships can be built and fixed. I would have jumped at the opportunity Eunrin." She sighed.
Upon hearing the conversation, the EXO members only exchanged looks. They weren't expecting that at all but at least they knew which girl turned down the offer.

While the other trainees had gone back to the dorm, Eunrin was left alone in the dancing studio. She rarely stayed behind but tonight, she felt like training harder than before. And also because there were still a lot of staffs on the floor, if the floor was empty, Eunrin would have gone home with the rest. She knew she was lacking in dancing. It wasn't just her forte but she had to do it.
Zhang Yixing was walking in the hallway when he heard someone grunted and groaned in frustration. He stopped on his tracks when he arrived at a dance studio and saw the girl that rejected the offer to debut. He wondered why. He knew that she said she wasn't ready but he was sure that it was more than that. For a moment, he just watched her dancing before entering the studio.
His presence caught her by surprise that she lost balance and stumbled backwards.
"Sunbaenim! Yes? Is there anything you need?" Eunrin asked, her breathing uneven from the dance.
Lay just shook his head and looked at her through the mirror. "No. I was just watching you from outside."
"I'm terrible, I know." She laughed. "But I'm doing my best."
"You're an okay dancer." At her words, he nodded his head.
"I'm not even mad at you saying that." She grabbed her bottle and started to chug it down. "Why are you here, sunbaenim? Don't you have a schedule?"
The idol just jammed his hands into his pockets and took a step forward. "I'm on schedule right now but it's Chanyeol's turn in the recording studio. I'm just taking a breather."
"I see."
They stood there in awkward silence. Both didn't know what to say until Eunrin spoke again. "Well, excuse me, sunbaenim but I got to brush up on my 'okay' dance." She as she got back into her position.
He knew that stance perfectly. He had been practicing it over and over again during his trainee days so when Eunrin was getting ready, Lay stood beside her.
"Let's try this together shall we?" He offered.
Eunrin looked at him, surprised and puzzled. "Are you sure? Why?"
"Because you're an okay dancer and I'm" he pointed to himself. "a one heck of a dancer."

Ever since then, whenever the two bumped into each other in the company, Eunrin would smile wider than she usually did and even waved at him and this time, her greetings were replied.

As time passed by, Eunrin started to develop a crush on Lay but she never noticed them until Minhee pointed it out for her. At first she was baffled by her friend's statement but then she started to notice the little things, the little habits she'd developed. She would stutter from time to time while talking to him or avoid any eye-contact. Her stomach did a flip whenever he was around and when he smiled or called her name, her heart skipped a beat. It was impossible for Eunrin not to feel a certain way towards him when he had been treating her so well. They had their ups and downs, they fought too but they always made up. Yixing dropped by her training whenever he could despite his tight schedule and Eunrin never missed any of EXO's concert or their fanmeetings. Whenever Lay got a day off, he would go to the dance studio that Eunrin was in and helped the trainees or maybe just her alone when it was only the two of them. In other rare times, Eunrin and Lay would go out for ice creams during lunch times. Yixing had to wear a disguise while Eunrin could be as free as she wanted. The EXO members dropped by from time to time, exchanging hellos with the trainees when the truth was they just wanted to see who this girl that managed to make Lay spent so much time here? The little things that Lay did for her, she took notice of it. He never let her have anything that had chicken in it because she was allergic to it. He made sure to match his pace with her instead of her matching with his. If she had went home late, he would wait for her text message telling him that she was home and Won Eunrin was definitely, without a doubt, in love with the EXO member, Zhang Yixing.

Won Eunrin had been in love with him for the last three years since they first met but she never confessed to him nor did she act any differently around him. Eunrin was good at concealing her feelings and maintaining her cool, but what she could not stop was the stuttering whenever he was around. Perhaps she was just too nervous. Eunrin was heading towards the dance studio when she saw Lay leaning on the doorframe talking to another trainee. He had his back on her and using this chance, Eunrin darted around the corner and went into the bathroom. Trying to ease the rate of her heartbeat, she splashed her face with the cold tap water. But it didn't work when she received a text message from the same person that caused her heart to beat such ways.

"Where are you?" - Lay Sunbaenim
"I stepped out for a moment. Why?" - Eunrin.
"I wanted to see you for a moment before heading off for our shooting." -
Lay Sunbaenim
"If you don't mind me asking, why?" - Eunrin.
"No particular reason. I just wanted to see you ^^"
- Lay Sunbaenim
Eunrin could feel her temperature rising and the blood rushing in her veins. "Why is he doing this to me?" She whined. Her fingers was about to type in a reply when another message came in from him.
"Don't forget about tomorrow! I look forward to you coming to our fanmeeting." - Lay Sunbaenim

Won Eunrin kept her promise and was now waiting in line with the other fans to meet EXO. She had been to almost every single one of their fanmeetings and had developed friendship with them. Instead of calling them sunbaenim, she called them oppa now, except for Lay. She still called him sunbaenim and he never said anything about it either. The line was moving slowly but steadily. When it was her turn, she greeted Chanyeol first, the two had a friendly chat and exchanged inner jokes, then it was Kyungsoo, who gave her huge smile and told her to do her best in her training. Then came Jongdae, Xiumin, Kai, Suho, Sehun, Baekhyun and finally, Lay. Her palms starting to feel sweaty. Everything felt alright with the other members, they talked, exchanged greetings, did a few handshakes that only they know but now that she was about to face Lay, she felt numb.

"Hello, Lay sunbaenim!" She smiled softly at him as he took her EXO photobook album and flipped it open to his photo.
He looked at her with that smile that she had found endearing. "Hello, how are you?"
"I'm great, a bit tired but great."
"Glad to hear that, Eunrin." He laughed as he signed his photo and wrote a little something, a bit longer.
"I hope you're taking care of your health too. I don't want you to overworked yourself."
He closed the photobook and reached his hand out to her and patted her head which made the other fangirls who saw the whole thing to either squealed or screamed. "Thanks for worrying about me."  He said.

As much as she wanted to stay until the event is finished, Eunrin had a vocal class in the evening and she couldn't afford to miss it. With all her might, she ran back to the SME building within the nick of time. Her training was intense but her instructor was satisfied as she had improved immensely throughout the years. They had a little talk, where her instructor advised her on her skills and how to touch it up until her eyes darted to the EXO photobook on Eunrin's bag.
"You went to their fanmeeting today?" Her instructor asked.
Eunrin took a quick glance at the photobook and nodded. "Yes, I made a promise to Lay sunbaenim that I'll be there."
"Ah, must be nice isn't it? To be in love?"
"What?! No! Haha, not at all! We're not in love."
"Are you sure? Because you seem to be very much in love with him." She teased when she saw Eunrin's face turned red.
"I'm not!" The trainee whined but her instructor just laughed it off.
"Eunrin, there's nothing wrong with admitting your feelings. It's pretty obvious. When you debut, I don't think it will be a problem despite what the contract says. You're pretty much a responsible girl, so I'm confident that you won't do anything that will, you know, get you into trouble."

That night, Eunrin was just lazing around on her bed with the EXO photobook on her lap. Some of her roommates were outside, playing monopoly to kill time while the others were off to a convenient store to buy food. She haven't got the chance to look at what the EXO members wrote earlier so she went through the photobook page by page of each members.
"Your jokes are getting better!" - Chanyeol.
"Hardwork will pay off, hwaiting!" - Kyungsoo.
"Thank you for your endless support!" - Jongdae.
"That's a really nice outfit you got there!" - Xiumin.
"Your dancing is getting better, keep it up!" - Kai.
"EXO is really lucky to have a 'fan' like you." - Suho
He put the apostrophe there because clearly, she wasn't just any fan, she was their junior and friend.
"You're lucky to know this handsome EXO maknae" - Sehun. Of course, typical Sehun.
"Heard your singing, beautiful!" - Baekhyun.

Trying not to think about anything, she flipped the pages to Lay's photo. Her heart stopped. Her cheeks were flushed, her body temperature was rising and once again, the blood rushed through her veins. He really knew how to make her feels certain ways. On the page, Lay had written.
"I'm in love with you."
That was it. Nothing more.

They didn't meet each other until roughly about three weeks later due to EXO's busy schedule. Their promotions were endless and Lay didn't text Eunrin either. Even if he did, it didn't say anything about what he'd written so Eunrin didn't bring it up as well. As usual, Eunrin would stay back in the studio, to brush up on her dancing skills which she was getting better at. She started to miss the private dance practice she had with Lay. The very thought of him being there filled her mind. She thought about how gentle he had held her hands while guiding her, how patient he was in repeating the steps for her, how he would watch her intensely as he examined her every moves and how he would laugh every time she messed up to lift up her tension.
"I think-I think I'm in love with you too." She admitted and sighed. "I miss you, sunbaenim." Then she crouched down and rested her forheard on her knees.
"Then why didn't you text me?" His voice was heard.
Eunrin lifted her head up and gasped when she saw Lay leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest. Quickly, she stood up and dusted the invisible dust off her clothes.
"Hello," he greeted her as if he heard nothing of what she said earlier. "How are you? How was your day?"
"Fine, just fine. It's the same." She shyly looked down to her shoes as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "How about you, sunbae-?" When she looked up again to face him, Lay was already in front of her, his hand caressing her cheek softly, it gently with his thumb before cupping her face and pulling her into a kiss.
Eunrin was taken aback by him for a moment but returned his kiss as she closed her eyes. Her hands found their way around his neck and she pulled him a bit more. She couldn't help but to smile into the kiss and Lay pulled away, resting his forehead on hers.
"So you're in love with me?" He asked again with a hint of playfulness in his voice.
He knew that answer to that question perfectly but he just wanted to see Eunrin's blushing face.

Your lovers personality?:

On stage while performing, he is the epitome of charisma. Fans would go crazy for him. His dance moves were fluid yet sharp and sensual. But offstage? He's far from charismatic. People found him to be very lovable and warm. He can be a bit clueless in a few things but he is learning and day by day, he's getting better at it including his Korean.
Zhang Yixing is a very humble and down to earth man. He doesn't like to brag his successfulness nor did he flaunts his achievements. When he got offered to star in movies or won awards, Zhang Yixing never failed to thank anyone who had helped him through thick and thin and continued to work harder for his sake as well as for the others. He wanted to make them proud. He was so humble that at times he couldn't believe that all these people waiting outside of his agency's building were solely his fans.
Yixing, or known as Lay is a very hardworking man. In other words, he's a workaholic. Instead of waiting for opportunities to come knocking on his door, he'll find one for himself. No, not one, he made sure to find as many opportunities as he could. If he couldn't find them, he create them.
EXO members are like brothers to him and he treated them like family. He's very grateful towards what they've done for him and never take his brothers for granted. Even when Lay couldn't promote with them, he still have them in his heart.

When he's with Eunrin, he's very protective over her just as how she is protective over him. He takes note of the little things she does and the little changes when she isn't herself. Lay is never tired of assuring Eunrin whenever she is feeling rather insecure with herself. He doesn't show his affections in public or in front of s, but when they're alone, Lay can be the biggest baby and the sweetest romanticist towards her. Instead of getting her flowers, he would get her books and send her postcards from whichever country he's travelling in. He loves skinship so he touches her a lot but he respects her. When Eunrin says no, it means no to him and he wouldn't do touch her for the rest of the day until Eunrin initiates the first move. He listens and understands her and is not afraid to ask her questions. He lowers his ego more with Eunrin than with s.

He might sound like the perfect guy but let's not forget that Lay is human too. He can be very possessive at times. It's not something that he could control but is working on. He can't bear to see another guy talking to her, especially when he doesn't know the guy well. He doesn't seem to mind s talking or hanging out with Eunrin but when it was someone that he doesn't know, he doesn't like it. Once, Eunrin and Lay got into a fight because he restricted her from hanging out with her guy friends. They didn't talk for a three days and Lay finally gave in and apologized for his behaviour. Eunrin had to assured him that nothing will happen between them and reminded him that she is dating him and not them. He is possessive and gets jealous easily but Lay has to remind himself to think rationally and instead of jumping into conclusions, he should ask or talk about it first.

If something worries him, he doesn't talk about it. While Eunrin needs to get the worry of her chest, Lay tend to keep it hidden. In other things, he can be pretty expressive but if something is bothering him, he keep it quiet. This is because he feels like he will be a burden to others if he tells and might inconvenient them. Therefore, he will keep it quiet and try to face it himself. The members always tell him that it's okay to share the burden together. They don't mind it at all but Lay was hard to convince. They would pester him for days until he finally told them.

Hardworking is one thing but hardworking to the point of injuring oneself is not good. Lay tend to overworked himself and have the tendecy of getting injured within the process. During his trainee days, he used to tie sandbags to his waist in order to improve his dancing skills quickly but in the end, he hurt himself and the injury was incurable. He has a chronic waist injury that could come and go without any warning. One time, his injury came back while he was performing Lotto and it was obvious that he was hurt since he had his body bent down the whole time.

Best friend: Jung Minhee
How did you guys meet? :

Minhee and Eunrin met during their trainee days. She was also Eunrin's roommate in the dorm. While Eunrin debuted in a girl group, Minhee debuted as one of the SME dancing team members. She was never interested in being an idol and just wanted to focus on dancing.

Your best friends personality?:

Jung Minhee is very straightforward and blunt girl. She doesn't hold back what she wants to say and is very expressive of her feelings. Minhee also got into quite a number of fights during her trainee days with the other girls. Mostly because she can't stand them acting like they're better than everybody else when the fact is, they're all the same. They're all trainees and they all want to survive. Even if she's like that, Minhee pick and choose her battles. She doesn't waste any time on unworthy and trivial things.
She is an outgoing person and 100% extrovert. The girl doesn't like to read but never commented anything on Eunrin's books or her habit of reading. She also got her friends' back if need to be but if her friends are in the wrong, the girl isn't afraid to throw them under the bus. Friends are friends but if it's wrong then it's wrong. That's how it is with Minhee.
Also, Minhee likes to mind her own business. She doesn't poke her nose where she shouldn't and always, if possible avoid having people to confide in her which is why people always confide in Eunrin because she was willing to listen. Minhee just doesn't like having the burden to carry someone's secret. She knows she's not like Eunrin who can take it her grave. Minhee knows she might slip while talking so prevention is better than cure.

She is also stubborn and hot-tempered and won't listen to anyone when she's feeling angry. The girl is easily annoyed and when she doesn't like someone, anything that person do, good or bad will iritates her and somehow got under her skin.
Minhee can be a bit prejudiced towards people at times and she has trouble trusting people around her. It took a while for her to warm up to Eunrin as well. When they first met, Minhee thought Eunrin was weird for smiling a lot and a bit naive for thinking only the good things about people but as time passed by, she realized that Eunrin may not be so bad after all.
Tardy. Minhee can never be on time. She is always late and not everyone can put up with this. Eunrin was the only one who could put up with her tardiness. She likes to take her own sweet time and sometimes just couldn't be bothered to be on time.

Friends:

Lee JiEun (IU) - Soloist
Yoo In Na - Actress.
Eunrin has always keep her circle small. So far, her circle only consist of three people besides her members of course. Jung Minhee, Lee JiEun and Yoo In Na. If she's going for a holiday trip, she would definitely go with only these three girls.
While Eunrin and Minhee met during their trainee days, Eunrin was able to become friends with IU and In Na only after her debut. They attended a music show together and Eunrin approached IU backstage and introduced herself. The two talked briefly, and IU wished her all the best before performing. After Eunrin and her members performed, she crossed path with IU while on her way to their changing room. IU smiled at her and Eunrin smiled back.
Whenever they attended the same music shows or varitey shows, the two would exchange greeting. At first formally, but then it started to blossom into friendship and IU then introduced Eunrin to In Na who became fast friends.
