FASHION:

Eunrin's style is inconsistent as she's the kind that likes a lot of things. Her fashion sense is according to her mood. If she feels like doning a retro look that week, she will don them. She'll tuck in her blue and grey striped shirt, put on a high-waisted jeans, a pair of brown boots and a yellow bomber jacket.

But when she feels girly and sophisticated, Eunrin would put on her best vintage looking dress. Instead of having bold colours like the retro look, this one mainly in pastels or white. most of her dresses and blouses are either plain or have a lot of small flower prints on them

PERSONALITY TRAITS:
(+)creative, understanding, protective, sentimental, respectful.
( - ) always bottle up her feelings, emotional, over thinking,  transparent.

ELABORATION:
Park Eunrin has always been creative, even from the school days. She is more of a right brain user than the left. If given a theme, Eunrin can come up with 1001 different concepts for the theme. Her brain works fast when it comes to the creative world. Her design sense has been improving since she first took up art and the girl has been brushing up on her drawing, colouring and painting skills since she first got into university. The lecturer told her that as a designer, she must have a sketchbook with her at all times and that's exactly what she does. Wherever Eunrin goes, the girl always got a sketchbook and a pencil in her bag. If she's travelling, she would bring her travelling painting kit along. Eunrin practices and often make the time to learn something new within the creative world and what she enjoys designing most are magazines. If they got a project to create a magazine, Eunrin would be jumping in joy because that is her forte too besides illustrations. The reason why Eunrin can be creative too is that she's lazy. She often tries out new ways to do things easier and quicker. She might not realize it but in a way, what she is doing is a different way of learning. The girl would look up some tutorials or life hacks to do things the easy way. One time, her mother told her to fold her bed sheet before ironing it so that it wouldn't crumple as much and it'll be easier to iron. Instead of listening, Eunrin just put on her bedsheet first and just iron it on her bed. She didn't have to go folding the bedsheet, opened the bedsheet, iron the bed sheet and fold it again and spread it on her bed and put it on. The girl skipped a lot of steps there.

Understanding people and the situation is definitely one of Eunrin's good traits. She doesn't like to jump into conclusions or judge depending on just one side of the stories. When a certain thing happened, Eunrin would always try to remind herself that everything happens for a reason. But it's not always that Eunrin is understanding. She is human after all. There are times when she just let it go and couldn't be bothered about it. Or when a certain someone told her a certain something that could really hurt her feelings regarding her personality, Eunrin would flip out. She would fight with the person and disagreeing with everything right there and then. She would stop talking to the person for a few days but within those days, there will be times when she would think about what the person says. She would think rationally as to why the person says something like this, there must have been something that she had unknowingly done to the other person that they feel the need to tell her. In the end, Eunrin would apologize for her behaviour. She is understanding, but not always.

When it comes to family and friends, Eunrin is very much protective over them. Sometimes, she's slightly possessive too over her brothers especially. She hated it when something bad happened to her family members or friends. Well, who does right? If Eunrin and her friend are being scolded in an office, instinctively Eunrin would step forward. This characteristic of her developed because of her big brothers. When they were little, Eunrin and her brothers were having a walk in the neighbourhood. They saw a little boy, probably around Eunrin's age (she was 6) with a puppy in his hand being cornered by a bunch of boys who were laughing and poking him and the puppy, they even pushed him roughly against the wall and spit on the boy's shoes. Upon seeing that, Taejun and Hyungseok got angry and went over to help the boy. In the end, they got into a fight and the twins went home with bruises on the faces and scratches on their hands. The boy and the puppy ran away when the fight broke. Their mother threw a fit but Eunrin thought it was cool. She thought that the moment her brothers went over to protect the boy was very cool and so, that was why Eunrin was very protective.

The girl has an old soul. She's very sentimental and finds value in a lot of old things. Even when it's not hers. This is also because she is slightly old school. Eunrin likes old and vintage items, clothing and materials. She collects old journals, old postcards and letters and some of them even dated back over 100 years. She just likes the aesthetic of it and has them tucked away carefully in her box of collections. She loves reading the love letters, from mother to daughter, parents to their children, lover to lover, she has them all. Whenever she read them, her heart would flutter and she couldn't imagine that person's strong feelings towards the other. Being sentimental really makes Eunrin easy to get along with the old people. She empathizes with them and often talks to them. She listens to their stories and asks a lot of questions about how things were back in the days.

In her humble opinion, everyone should respect everyone. It's a sign of maturity. You can play around, joke around as much as you want but there should be boundaries. The boundaries are easy to spot if you're respectful towards the others. This is what Eunrin understands that some people don't. Eunrin doesn't like raising her voice even in an argument. Instead, she would calmly counter the other person's statement in a very gentle and subtle way because to her, even if they're in a fight, Eunrin still respect the other person even when the other person doesn't do the same. It was all in the mentality. To Eunrin, the louder your raise your voice, the more it shows that you're just like an empty can. Loud but empty. The old, the young, the rich and the poor, she respects them all as human beings. She'll approach and treat people nicely, mindful of her words and behaviour. There was this thing called be yourself and don't give a crap of what others think. Eunrin doesn't really believe in those words. She does care about what people think of her because with that self-consciousness, she can better and improve herself. If she keeps on doing what she wants, she knows that she will never grow as a person. Some part of the words are true, be yourself all you want but take what people say, what people advise, what people critics into consideration as well.

Because Eunrin doesn't like fighting. When someone hurt her feelings or pride, Eunrin just shoves it down. Most of the time she can let go but if it's really hurtful, she tends to bottle it up. No matter how hard she tries to brush it off, she will not be able to do so. At least not until the person knows that he/she hurt her feelings. It doesn't matter if they apologize or not, what matters to her is that the other person knows. But Eunrin doesn't know how to let the other people know. She didn't have the confidence or faith in herself. In the end, rather than telling how she actually feels, Eunrin brushed it off and just bottled up her feelings.

From bottling up her feelings, Eunrin will eventually explode by being irrationally emotional at times. This tends to happen at the end of the months during her cycle. Anything could trigger this even the small and petty things. Because when she bottles up her feelings, it becomes big and the small things just add up to the burden and with her hormones unstable during that time, Eunrin would just cry. But still, she would avoid telling people what is really going on with her. At least not until she is ready. If someone asks her "what is really wrong." she would lie and just tell them that she's hungry and want to eat. For those who don't really know her well would take her out to eat and just that. But for those who know her like the back of their hands would definitely have small talks with her during the meal and slowly ease her into really saying what's on her mind.

One thing that Eunrin hates about herself is that she tends to overthink. It's not that she's doing it on purpose. The thoughts just come flooding her mind and messes with her head. She hates it. She knows most of the time that the things aren't real and just beyond ridiculous but there is no way of stopping it. Even when she's in a relationship, especially when things are rather shaky at the moment, the negative thoughts would just rush in like "He's cheating on you." "he's texting with some other girl." "He's going to dump you." "You're not good enough" "He's playing you." "He got into an accident." "He got mugged." And these are the things that often goes through her mind. When they come, she'll shove it down fiercely but sometimes, she too succumbed to it despite fully knowing that it was just her mind messing with her.

Eunrin is very transparent. She could not hide her facial expressions well and it is easy to read her like an open book. If Eunrin doesn't like a certain someone, she will avoid talking to him/her and would even look at them. She'll talk to them but she will not look at them. She just couldn't and there's a cold tone in her voice as well. If she's feeling happy and giddy, she will not stop smiling from ear to ear. When she blushes, her ears would turn red. no matter how hard she denies it, it will always show. When she lies, her eyes would roll to the left. When she's upset, she'll pout and if asked, she'll say she's not upset. Every single action and facial expression of hers are easy to read. But of course, she tries to control them as well, as not to hurt anyone but most of the time, it'll just slip.

BACKGROUND:
Eunrin comes from an average family of five. Her mother used to own a cafe but now, it belongs to her big brothers. Her father works in a small corporate company but with enough salary to sustain them.

In high school, Eunrin was just an okay student. She was neither popular or a sore loser. She was somewhere in the middle. She barely passed her maths and science and she did just fine on the other subjects. Eunrin only managed to score on English and Arts. But she bucked up for real when it was about time for her to graduate high school because Eunrin needed to score in order to get into a university.

Her first choice was Sungkyunkwan University but Eunrin didn't get in. Her second choice university didn't accept her as well. When everything felt lost and done, unexpectedly
Korea National University of Arts accepted her.

She studies Graphic Design and majoring in illustration. It's only during her university years that Eunrin began to thrive. She got dean's list for every single semester and is pretty much flexible and a fast learner. Eunrin knew she messed up a lot during her high schools days by not studying properly but then again, she wasn't really into studying. Back in high school, everything was exam oriented and in a way, it stressed her out. So when she got into uni, she really went all out on it. Eunrin kept her family in mind and that gave her the motivation to do good in uni. To actually turn over a new leaf and leave that Park Eunrin who was lazy and be the Park Eunrin who is actually doing something she loves, art. The girl rarely had trouble executing her projects and is able to do any task without breaking a sweat and has a good sense of design.

During the semester break, Eunrin would work at her brothers' cafe as a cashier during the day and finishes her art commissions during the night. Most of the time she does loose floral watercolour painting but she also takes commissions for a logo design, script writing, corporate identity and anything that is related to her field.

LIFESTYLE:
Eunrin is currently a student at Korea National University of Arts. Despite the fact that she's a student, Eunrin always makes sure to sleep before midnight. Not because she wants her beauty sleep or anything but because to Eunrin, there's really no point of her staying up late at night, struggling to finish her assignments with her brain being slow and her eyes threaten to close. No. Eunrin would rather sleep early, let her brain and body get some rest and wake up around 4 AM in the morning and finish her assignments then. But of course, when she's overwhelmed with work or has no choice, she would pull an all-nighter, sometimes three nights in a row but never more.

During the weekend, Eunrin would either rest at home or go out. It depends on her mood. Because of the books she reads, Eunrin craves for an adventure, she is a wanderlust but at the same time, she prefers to stay at home. When laziness strikes, Eunrin would just sit and go for an adventure through her books.

Not to mention Eunrin also does freelance jobs during her studies. She takes commissions for illustrations and freelance designing for a corporate or companies. Her financial isn't stable as it depends on the jobs she gets. If she doesn't have any job for a month, she'll be a bit tight but most of the time, she got cash but just enough for her to sustain what's necessary for a human to live with.

In a way, she looked up to her cousin and they oftened have a sleepover together. The reason why her parents let her move to Seoul was that she said that she will be living with Eunrin. Even though Eunrin took up Arts, Choi YooJung knew exactly what she wants. She didn't enrol in the same university as Eunrin, instead, she went to another and took up Hotel Management and Kitchen. Full known of Eunrin's lack of eating because of her projects, YooJung is the official chef in the house.

PERSONALITY
When he's on stage, Jiyong has this over-flowing charisma and charm that define him as G-dragon. The way he walks, the way he talks, the way he performed, everything screams bad boy and swag. When he's on stage, he's professional, he gives his best. There's no slacking. It doesn't matter if he's sick, G-Dragon would always give his best.
On variety shows, GD mainly remains quiet and only talks when the hosts are speaking to him. He's very respectful towards others and would bow lower than the other. When he talks, he's always careful with his words and promotes positivity because he knows, he's a public figure. He let loose when he's on variety shows but not too much. He gets embarrassed easily when the hosts ask him to do cute expressions but does it anyway. If anything, GDragon is a professional.

But off camera, he is nothing like his stage image portrayed. While on stage, he swaggered confidently, performed amazingly, behind the scene he is actually a very shy person. He can talk easily to boys but when it comes to girls, especially those who he just met, he can be very shy and timid and often covers his face when he's embarrassed.

He's a very hard-working person to the point that he would get himself sick. He can go on days without sleeping just so he could finish his album producing. He doesn't fool around when it comes to his career, he worked so hard to reach where he is now, he's not going to give it up that easily. Being hardworking is both his strength and his downfall. He rarely takes care of himself and is often sick. He rarely eats because he doesn't want to waste any time. He's also stubborn especially when he works and doesn't really pay attention to anything else, as long as he gets his album done. In other words, Jiyong is a workaholic.

When he's comfortable with someone, he'll talk more and open up more. He'll crack jokes and keep a conversation going for as long as he could. He likes to be pampered by the people around him, people that he is comfortable with and is a bit gentler with them. He would give in to them just so they would be happy.

He can be a gossip at times. He enjoys the tea spilling session. If someone has news to be spread, they would just go to him and within the next few minutes, everybody would know about it. But still, he knows that certain things are meant to be private and one's personal secret so he would speak a single thing about it to a single soul. He can keep secrets too and won't use it for his own benefits.
Because he is a quiet type of person, people often think that he is gentle. He is, except when he's angry. He doesn't scold or shout or yell. He'll talk to the person in a calm manner but his words could be harsh. He doesn't cuss or hurt the person's feelings on purpose, sometimes, in his opinion, harsh words are needed in order for a person to realize about something. If a soft nudge won't do it, then a throw off the cliff could do the trick.
Jiyong also has a complicated way of thinking. It's really hard to understand what he wants at times and he's not very open about his feelings either. Sometimes, he can brush off what hurt his feelings but sometimes he couldn't and the worse part is he doesn't know how to open up about it. Not that he doesn't know, but he just doesn't bring that up.

He can also be a bit insensitive at times. Because of him being an idol, he expected for his partner to understand every single thing he does. In his opinion, it's fine for him to take photos with girls or be close to them because he's a celebrity but it's not okay when his partner does it. He is possessive over his lover, probably because he loves her too much and dove too deep. He doesn't express his love much to her through words but most of the time through his actions, sometimes even the little ones to the point that they are very subtle that she often missed it.

— Loves being on stage.
— Secretly loves it when Eunrin surprises him in his waiting room.

—The song 'Girlfriend' was one of Jiyong's way of telling Eunrin about how much he loves and appreciates her and there was nothing for her to worry about.

LOVE STORY

15 November 2015

It was Eunrin's first time in Japan and so it also happened to be the first time she will ever attend a concert by her favourite band, Big Bang. She had planned this trip to Japan with her cousin since they were in high school and had been collecting money and when Big Bang released their tour dates, they knew they just had to attend even if they were not in their own country. In the end, they bought the tickets to see Big Bang in Japan.
Eunrin was thrilled-- actually no, she was beyond thrilled because she managed to score 2 VIP backstage passes through a contest. Even though she was slightly disappointed that her boyfriend couldn't come along with her on this trip, Eunrin overcame it with the thought of Big Bang.
To be honest, Eunrin was worried about her boyfriend. She knew that he was busy but for him to be so busy to the point that he didn’t have the time for her seemed ridiculous. If you love someone, no matter how busy you are, you’ll make the time for him or her. But she shrugged it off, shoving away the negative thoughts.

She was here in Japan to have fun. That was why she was in this hotel room with her cousin, getting ready for the concert.

“Are you ready to parteeeeehhhhh?!” Her cousin YooJung stood up on the bed, flipping her hair back and forth.
Eunrin just laughed and grabbed her sling bag. “BORN READY!” She was about to grab her novel on the nightstand when YooJung slapped her hand away.

“You’re going to a concert, you don’t need a book.”
“Sorry. It’s a habit.” She felt stupid. Who would bring a book to a concert?
Both of them exited the hotel and took a cab to Tokyo Dome. They were early. Of course they had to be early if they want to make use of the VIP Backstage pass.
Once they arrived, the first thing they did was to look for the staffs for the concert. When they finally found one, they showed their VIP backstage pass, slightly unsure what to ask but the staff seemed to understand and lead them to the VIP pass door.
Once inside, the staff led both of them into what looked like a lounge and invited them to sit down. There were around 8 more fans in the room, chatting to each other eagerly and expressing how excited they were to finally meet Big Bang face to face.
Another 10 more minutes, right on cue, Big Bang came out and had meet and greet with their fans. They talked, took selfies but Eunrin remained quiet the whole time. She was too embarrassed, too speechless to say anything. She couldn’t even look at Jiyong whenever he spoke. They had a group photo together and that was when everyone wanted to have a one on one photo with Big Bang. Yoo Jung had her photo taken with T.O.P while Eunrin just remained on her spot. She still had trouble believing that they were standing in front of her.
“Eunrin! Don’t you want to take a photo with them?!” Yoo Jung’s voice was a bit too loud that the Big Bang members all looked at her.
She could feel her ears reddened but Eunrin just nodded. “You were so stoked to meet them and now you’re just keeping quiet. Really, Eunrin.” Her cousin complained as she pulled Eunrin to stand next to Jiyong.
“What is that pose?!” Her cousin laughed. “You’re not posing for a passport photo. Why are you so uptight tonight?”
“I’m just nervous!” Eunrin blurted out. She wasn’t mad at YooJung. If anything, she was grateful. If YooJung didn’t whine like this, Eunrin would have missed this opportunity.
She heard a small chuckle from Jiyong and when she turned up to look at him, she found that Jiyong was looking at her with a soothing smile. That was when YooJung took the photo.
“Nice!”
After the meet and greet ended, Big Bang wished their fans to have fun tonight at the concert. Eunrin smiled widely and nodded her head before meeting eyes with Jiyong. He pumped his fist at her and mouthed, “have fun.” Before disappearing back to wherever the staff had taken them.

After the concert was finished, Eunrin and YooJung headed back to the hotel with a few Big Bang merchandises that they’ve bought at the concert. YooJung got a few signed posters, lomo cards and albums while Eunrin just got herself a lightstick and a Big Bang t-shirt. She was content with just that.
“I think I need some air.” Eunrin said, looking down to her phone. She wanted to call her boyfriend so bad and tell him everything but in order to do that; she needed to get Yoo Jung out of the way. She wanted to have a private intimate conversation with him. “Why don’t you head upstairs first?”
“You’re sure?”
“Yeah, I’ll be at the pool.” She assured YooJung.
Eunrin handed YooJung the Big Bang t-shirt she bought but kept the lightstick with her. She wanted to hold it for a little longer. What she just experienced was beyond words and this lightstick was the witness. YooJung headed upstairs to their room while Eunrin headed straight to the pool.

She sat there quietly, with both of her legs dipped in the pool. No one else was around, it was complete privacy and Eunrin appreciated that. She tried contacting her boyfriend but he didn’t pick up. She called him three times in a row but to her dismay, still no answer. She put her phone down, behind her where it was nowhere near the water and looked at the lighstick in her hand.
He never answered her calls nowadays and even when he did, it would be brief. Her hand couldn’t stop twirling the lightstick until her own clumsiness made her accidentally drop the lightstick into the pool.
“Oh no!” She exclaimed and without any second thought, Eunrin dove into the water, trying to get her lightstick back.
She rose to the surface when she got a hole of the lightstick and pulled herself out of the pool. The cold night breeze made her shiver uncontrollably and her teeth chatter. She decided it was time to go up and clean up.
She quickly squeezed the water out of her hair and clothes and hugged her body. The water dripped, as she walked but not as much as earlier.
“This is ridiculous! I’m ridiculous.” She thought to herself as her teeth chattered. She felt like a vibrating skeleton.
The poor girl kept on rubbing her arms to keep warm as she waited for the elevator. It wasn’t until five minutes later that the elevator opened, only to reveal five members of Big Bang, their masks were off.
They looked at her, surprised at how soaked she was and she was even more surprised to see them here. Awkwardly, she got inside the elevator and the members made space for her. She kept her head down.
“You were at our concert right?” it was Daesung who spoke first.
Eunrin nodded her head slightly, unable to move as Jiyong was the one who stood besides her.
“Did you have fun?” TOP asked and once again Eunrin nodded.
“It was really great. That was my first time attending a concert actually.” She admitted.
“Oh! We’re honoured to be the first then!” Seungri laughed.
“But if you don’t mind me asking, why are you soaking wet?” Jiyong finally asked.
“I…” She looked elsewhere besides him. “I dropped the lightstick in the pool and… had to get it back.”
Jiyong opened his mouth to say something but Eunrin sneezed, 4 times in a row, which made the members chuckled in amusement.
“Excuse me,” she sniffed.
Taeyang took off his coat and put it on Eunrin. “Take this. We can’t bear it to see a fan being sick.” His voice was soft and gentle.
When the elevator slowed down, the Big Bang members put their masks back on. “Someone’s getting in.” TOP stated.
Just then, the elevator door dinged open. It wans’t Eunrin’s floor, nor was it Big Bang’s. In front of it, stood a very familiar figure.
Eunrin recognized it anywhere.

“Oppa!” She couldn’t help but to exclaimed in excitement when she saw her boyfriend, Sang Gil standing on the other side of the door.
He had a shocked look on his face when he saw Eunrin but regained his composure as he hastily stepped inside the elevator, squeezing himself beside Eunrin, where the buttons were and quickly pressed on the ‘close door’ symbol.
“Oppa, what are you doing here? I didn't know you’re here in Japan too!” There was excitement in Eunrin’s voice that Jiyong didn’t hear before.
“Oh oh, it was a last minute thing, my boss wanted me to follow him--”
“Wait wait! Don’t close yet!” A voice shouted from outside.
With a quick hand, Eunrin pressed on the ‘open door’ symbol and a girl stepped inside. She thanked Eunrin for stopping the elevator before squeezing between Eunrin and Sang Gil. Eunrin was pushed closer to Sang Gil and the man held her arm, not wanting her to lose balance
“Why didn’t you wait for me?” She cooed, unaware of the Big Bang members in there as well as she wrapped her arms around Sang Gil’s arm.
Eunrin stiffened at the sight. She looked at Sang Gil but the guy just ignored her, not wanting to meet her gaze. The whole elevator was quiet. Eunrin didn’t look or say anything at the couple. She was too shocked to say anything.
The couple then exited the elevator at level 10 and there were space again. Eunrin pulled herself away from Jiyong and just stared ahead.
“Who was that?” Seungri asked, just out of curiosity, which earned him a smack from Taeyang.
Eunrin was about to reply when her phone vibrated once, indicating that she got a message.
It was Sang Gil.
“I’m breaking up with you.” That was it. That was his text.
She read the message in silence, processing it through her head. She didn’t know what to think or to say or to reply.
Little did she noticed that Jiyong accidentally saw the text. He frowned at the context.
What kind of guy breaks up through text?” He thought.
He noticed that Eunrin was sniffing. Not because she was cold, but he knew it was because she was hurt.

Without thinking, he clapped his hands loudly and said. “You know what?!”
She yelped at the suddenness of his voice. “Let’s go out tomorrow!” Jiyong looked at s and turned to Eunrin. “You too. Let’s go out together.”
“Wh..what?”
“I think that’s a fun idea.” Daesung agreed.
“We’ll go shopping, or we’ll go food hunting,” Jiyong listed the things that they can do together.
“What say you?” TOP asked.
The members understood what Jiyong was trying to do. It wasn’t like they had anything for tomorrow, even though they wanted to stay at the hotel and just relax for a while but maybe it would be fun to spend time with this girl.
“Your friend too, bring your friend too.” Seungri reminded.

Level 18.
“This is my level…” Eunrin said sheepishly. “Okay, uhm I see you tomorrow…” She took off Taeyang’s coat and passed it back to her.
“Oh, this is our level too.” Taeyang smiled at her as they all stepped outside of the elevator behind her.
She awkwardly nodded and just waved them goodbye which made the situation more awkward when they happened to have the same direction.
“You’re funny.” Daesung laughed.
This time, Eunrin laughed too.
That was the first time they’d seen you laugh without a care.
“That was nice.” Jiyong said.

“What is?”
“You attended our concert.” He lied. He wanted to say her laughter was nice to see.
Eunrin and the members talked until Eunrin reached her room first.
“Alright. This is my stop and thank you for the amazing concert!” She bowed 90 degrees.
When she lifted her head, she saw Jiyong swiping the card on the knob at the room next-door and winked. “Well, this is our stop.”
“Thank you for attending. Glad you had fun.” TOP grinned and went inside the room.
Taeyang just smiled back at her. Daesung gave her thumbs up while Seungri did a fist pump.
Jiyong was the last. “Aren’t you going to go inside?”
“Right right!” She pressed the doorbell and heard her cousin answered. “Good night,” Eunrin’s lip curled up.
“Sleep well and sweet dreams,” and with that, he disappeared into his room.

November 16 2015

Morning finally came and Eunrin insisted that her cousin get up early. She didn’t tell her what happened, not yet. Yoo Jung could die out of happiness if she found out what was about to happen that day.
While they were getting ready, the hotel phone rang and Eunrin answered it.
“Hello?”
“Hi, is this… is this.. Eun-Eunrin? The one in the elevator yesterday?”
“Oh yes! Speaking,”
“Great, it’s me, Seungri.”
Eunrin stopped herself from gasping. “Y-yes?”
“Who’s that?” YooJung asked, double checking herself in the mirror.
“The concierge.” Eunrin lied and paid attention to the phone again. “Yes? Please, continue…”
“I’m the concierge now?” He laughed. “We’ll be going down first to the basement but you can just head down to the lobby and we’ll pick you up there at the entrance.”
“Oh.. okay.”
“Black van alright? Can you please give me your number? So that it’s easier to get in touch.”
“Absolutely!” And so Eunrin gave the idol her number.
“See you then!”
“Alright, thank you!”

By the time they got downstairs, there was a black van parked in front of the entrance of the lobby.
Ting
Eunrin received a notification from an unknown number.
“This is Jiyong. We’re in the black van. Come in.”
The girls slowly approached the van and the door slid opened, revealing the members in disguise.
“Hello,” Daesung waved from the very back seat, sitting next to Seungri.
Eunrin waved back as she got inside first, sitting next to Jiyong. YooJung got in, slightly confused as to what was going on.
“Hello girls.” He greeted them when the door finally closed and the members took off their disguise.
TOP was sitting next to the driver.
YooJung ended up gasping and fanned herself. “What is going on?!”
Daesung stretched his hand out to her and gladly, almost giddily Yoojung shook it. “Hello, nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too!” She replied, way too eager.
After exchanging greetings with the members, YooJung shot her cousin a look. “I’m so confused right now but I am slightly angry that you know Big Bang and didn’t tell me but I’m letting it slip because I am going to enjoy this.”

This earned laughter from the Big Bang members.

“We bumped into each other in the elevator.” Taeyang said and nobody mentioned of the incident that happened after that.
“Yeah and Jiyong hyung thought it would be a good idea to spend a day with a fan. We’ve never done that before, there’s the first to everything.” Seungri added.
Hearing that, YooJung said. “That’s great! It’s actually Eunrin’s first time in Japan, as well as attending a concert too!”
“Then how lucky you are to be spending time with your idols too, for the first time.” Jiyong nudged Eunrin teasingly.
She tensed slightly at the touch and he noticed it. Immediately, he regretted his actions. Perhaps she was not used to being physical contacts with guys. He wondered how she was with her boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend.

With their disguise on, hiding their faces and figures perfectly, the members and the girls exited the van when they arrived at a mall. They went for a movie and then headed for lunch. Yoojung was really excited, so was Eunrin but with Jiyong around, she became stiff. She’d love to talk to him more, but whenever she was around the person she likes, Eunrin would never be able to talk. Perhaps she needed more time to get to know and be comfortable with him. Seeing how casual YooJung can be with the members made her slightly jealous. It wasn’t that Eunrin wasn’t carefree like YooJung. It was only because Jiyong was there or else, she too might be able to talk normally.

The members brought the girls to their usual restaurant and requested for a VIP room, just for them to eat in private without any disguise on. After they’ve ordered their food, they talked some more until Eunrin’s phone rang. When she saw the number, Eunrin hesitated for a while but YooJung just teasingly said.

“Ohhh, love calls huh?” Clearly she hadn’t a single clue of what happened. Eunrin didn’t fill her in. She wasn’t sure if she should answer it but if he called, it must be important.
Jiyong watched Eunrin in silent as she excused herself from the room.

“Hey,”
“You didn’t reply my text yesterday.” SanG Gil said.
“I, didn’t get the chance to.” The truth was she didn’t know what to reply. How could she respond to a text that was more like a statement than a question? A text that gave her no space to answer properly.
“I just wanted to make sure that you get it. That’s all.”
“I got it.” She remained calm even though all she wanted to do throw her phone and smash it onto Sang Gil’s face.
“Okay, then we’re done.”
“We’re done.”
“That’s it? You’re not going to fight me?”
She hated it when he did this. He was the one who wanted to break up and when she was fine with it, he would guilt trip her like this.
“What do you mean I’m not going to fight you over this? What’s left to fight for?”
“You could have said no to me and ask me to stay.”
She hate hate hate it when the conversation turned over to her, making it seemed like she was the bad guy here for not fighting him. For not fighting for this relationship.
Before Eunrin could reply, someone took her phone and did the answering for her. “No, she’s not going to ask you to stay nor will she fight you over this.” It was Jiyong.
He’d gone out to check on her. Probably because he knew what actually happened. The others members might have seen something they didn’t expect to on the elevator but Jiyong was the one who saw the breakup text by chance. They only thought of cheering her up because her boyfriend cheated on her but Jiyong thought of cheering her up because she deserved better.
“Who are you?”
“Kwon Jiyong.”
“Kwon Jiyong? Yah! This is between me and my girlfriend!”
“Ex-girlfriend.” He flat out said it and with that, he hung up.
Without any word, he handed Eunrin her phone back. “Don’t talk to him again. He’s an . In fact, he’s abusive.”
“Oh…okay…”
“Both of you are done.” He knew what he said stung her. “But it’s better to end it now than being stuck in an abusive relationship.”
“I know, I wanted to end it but he just--”
“Played the victim. I heard. Your call volume wasn’t exactly low.” He just gave her a sad smile. “Forget about him and just have fun today. You’re with us. Yoojung’s having a great time and so should you.”
“Thank you.”
One thing that Jiyong noticed was that, she never once looked at him when he talked to her.
“I just want to ask you something. Why won’t you ever look at me?”
That question hit Eunrin like a slap. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to look at him but when she did, her heart beat so fast that she could hardly breathe. She felt like she would be crying if she did and she didn’t want that.

“So, finally he called you?” YooJung grinned at her cousin when Eunrin got inside the room again. The drinks had been served on the table.
Eunrin nodded her head. “We broke up.”

This shocked YooJung. “What happened?!”
The Big Bang members shifted in their seats uncomfortably, not knowing what to say so Eunrin proceeded. “I don’t date cheaters and two timers.”
“He two timed you?!”
“Yes and they,” Eunrin gestured to the members. “were there when it happened.”
“In the elevator? He was at our hotel?!” Recalling that Eunrin bumped into them in an elevator.
“Yes.” She paused for a moment, realizing the tension in the air. They were worried about her, she could tell that. “Owhhh, oppaaa~ why didn’t you wait for me~” She playfully imitated the girl Sang Gil was with last night.
Seeing how easily she could turn this into a joke, the members relaxed a little and Seungri joined in. “Omo omo, I didn’t wait for you because my girlfriend who I cheated on is in the elevator~” He pretended to be Sang Gil.
Eunrin laughed.
“Owh, oppaaa~ that’s so mean~ You could have told her that you didn’t want her anymore~”
“I’m sorry~ I’m just a low-life who’s incapable of being a gentleman~”
TOP lifted his drink into the air. “TO EUNRIN AND HER SINGLE LIFE!”
The others lifted their drinks as well and clunked their drinks together.
“TO EUNRIN AND HER SINGLE LIFE!”

Lunch was over within an hour and thirty minutes. They meant to make the day meaningful and make use of the time. Next stop was a bookstore, upon Eunrin’s request.
The moment she saw the bookstore, Eunrin started to walk faster. Yoojung knew this would happen and so, she pulled her cousin by the collar. “Control yourself woman.”
Once inside, Eunrin couldn’t help but to rush straight to the Young Adults section. She browsed the books carefully, looking for any new releases. The members scattered elsewhere, Yoojung was nowhere to be found too. Jiyong however, lingered around Eunrin.
“Found anything you fancy?”
“Not yet. I’m still looking.”
“What are you looking?”
“Anything that catches my eyes.” She felt a bit comfortable talking to him now after their talk at the restaurant..
“What kind of book catches your-” He was cut off by Eunrin gasping dramatically and hushed squealed as she picked up a book called “Six of crows.”
“-so that catches your eyes.”
“It’s here!” She looked at Jiyong happily. It was his first time seeing her so excited since last night. He felt a his heart skipped a beat.
“This is the book you’ve been looking for?”
“No, I already have this book. I’m just excited seeing it here on the shelf.” Eunrin caressed the book as if it was her own baby.
“Oh.”
“It’s ridiculous, I know.” She admitted. “I just get excited over books. When I buy, I’ll 3 or more.”

Jiyong watched her as she took out her phone and took a photo of the book and posted it on her IG story with the caption. “Look what I found in Japan!” and within seconds, her phone couldn’t stop ringing as endless notifications flooded in.
“You’re quite famous.” Jiyong raised a brow.
“That’s silly. You’re famous. Not me.” She said, scrolling still on her Jiyong feed.
“You have quite a number of followers.” He noted.
“Only bookworms.” She stared at the 23.5k followers she has. “It’s like a community on Instagram.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. I started posting about books 3 years ago, every day without fail and made some friends there. Then I started to post reviews and publishers keep on sending me free books and free limited edition merchandises.”
“Really? Can I see how it works? This is the first time I heard about this.”
Gladly, Eunrin opened her IG feed, which was full of books and flatlays. They were aesthetic. Her props were messy but messily beautiful. “This is basically what I do.” She said.
“For a living?”
“No, a hobby.”
“Wow, that’s a lot of investment.” He said, tapping on one of Eunrin’s photos. “Did you buy all the props- you sure have a lot of books, Eunrin.”
“Yeah, I know. I invest a lot in this but I love doing it so it’s fine.” She paused. “But I do get companies approaching me for my photos. They want me take flatlays for their products.”
“You’re making a living out of your hobby then.” Jiyong was impressed.

They spent roughly about three hours in the bookstores. Eunrin spent 1 hour and a half browsing the books and deciding what to pick. Then she spent another 1 hour and a half simply trying to decide if she should buy them. She ended up with 4 books, all bought by Jiyong. He saw she had a hard time trying to pick just one book, so when she put back the other three books, he picked them up and placed them on the counter when she was about to pay.
“Let me.” He didn’t give her a chance to protest.

The day went by as quickly as it had come. YooJung and Eunrin had a very wonderful time with the members. Once inside their respective rooms, Eunrin received a text from Jiyong.

“I hope you had fun today. I did.

- Jiyong”

She couldn’t help but smile at it. “I did. Thank you very much for today. YooJung and I appreciated it.”

With that, Eunrin sent the message. She waited for a few minutes but there was no reply. Instead of wasting any time, she bathed and got ready for bed. When she checked her phone again, nothing was there.
What was she thinking? That Jiyong would entertain her forever? Surely not. The girl groaned in frustration and bury her face under the pillow.

November 20, 2015

It had been three days since Eunrin was back in Korea and today was back to school. She dreaded it and just wished that the holiday would be longer. With a sigh, she shuffled through the university’s compound, with an art canvas in her hand. She got Illustration subject today, perhaps, maybe she could illustrate when she just went through in Japan. Perhaps she could even draw Jiyong’s face.
No, that’ll be weird. She thought.

The day went by without any hassle, but the thought of Sang Gil did come through her mind from time to time. She tried to think of the reason why would he cheat on her. Why couldn’t he just break up with her in the first place and then get together with the other girl? Perhaps it was because of the fact that Eunrin was just a student and Sang Gil was already working. Of course there’ll be a lot of other attractive females. She fiercely shoved the thoughts away, there was no point thinking about it now. They were done. He was using her, he was abusive, he just wanted to keep her dominated. That was why he guilt trip her a lot. She knew that a long time but she stayed. Possibly out of love, possibly because she just couldn’t bear the thought of losing him. It wasn’t until someone else told her in the face that Sang Gil was abusive. Not physically abusive, but emotionally and mentally.

Then her thoughts shifted to the time when she and YooJung were hanging out with the BigBang members. It felt surreal, she still had trouble believing it. It could have been a dream but the books that Jiyong bought for her sat still on her nightstand beside her bed. As if he knew she was thinking about her, Eunrin received a brief text from the idol.

“How are you? I’m sorry for not contacting you earlier. Are you still in Japan?”

Her heart skipped a beat. He texted her first. Kwon Jiyong, an idol with full schedule, an idol who rarely got the time for tirivial things texted her first.

“I’m okay and no, class started today. I’m back in Korea. Are you still there?”
“Yes. The concert is in a few more hours. Currently preparing for a meet and greet and just thought of you.”
She blushed at his words. Reading it over and over again.
“Have fun performing then!” Was all that she could come up with to reply him.

Jiyong just stared at the message. “I will. You take care okay? Tomorrow will be a better day.”
“And it will be.” Was her respond.

26 November 2015

They’ve been exchanging texts. Usually brief ones and just simple wishes like “Don’t push yourself too hard.” Or “make sure to eat and get enough sleep.” Sometimes even “don’t think too much.”. Simple but meaningful.

It frustrated Jiyong at times that Eunrin never the one to text him first. No matter how busy he was, he would make time for the girl. He was just worried about her. Seeing her boyfriend cheated on her in front of her eyes and having to receive a break up after that without the slightest sorry was a bit too much in Jiyong’s opinion. Whenever he asked her if she was fine, she would say she was.

“You’ve been texting a lot Eunrin.” Minhee eyed the girl as she giggled at something Jiyong sent.
Flustered, Eunrin just shook her head. “It’s nothing. Just someone I met.”
“You seem happier single than in a relationship.”
“Maybe I am.” Eunrin wasn’t so sure about that. The reason why she didn’t cry just yet was because there was someone there to keep her distracted. Her texting with Jiyong had made her so happy and distracted that she didn’t really stop to think or to cry over her previous relationship. She was hurting still but she just kept it in. Like always.

3 December 2015

This day marked the first time Eunrin ever video calling with Jiyong. She was out with some of her friends when her phone rang. Luckily Eunrin was quick enough to cover her phone from her friends’ visions when she saw the name and dashed to an empty corridor. Quickly, she answered him and was put on video.

“Hi!” Jiyong was slightly disheveled but still looking handsome nevertheless. He got a thin mustache forming above his upper lips.
“Hello,” Eunrin greeted back meekly. “I’m in campus.”
His eyes widened at her answer and turned his camera towards a wall.
“But nobody’s here, Ji.” She laughed.
“Oh,” Jiyong was back on screen. “I feel stupid.”
“You’re cute.”
“Shall we date then?”
Eunrin just looked at him in disbelief and blinked a few times, trying to process whether he was joking or not. But he had to be joking.
Seeing how Eunrin didn’t know how to respond to what he just said, he changed the subject. “How’s everything?”
“Everything’s fine.” She answered a little too quickly.
She was flustered and shy and it was obvious. Now he felt like teasing her more.
“Everything’s fine when you think of me.” He teased.
She flustered even more.
The girl blushed so hard that it was impossible for Jiyong not to notice. That was when it hit him.
She really did think of me.

“Eunrin ssi, I have to go.” He didn’t want to make the girl more uncomfortable than she already was. “I’ll text you again tonight okay?”
“O-okay.” She nodded and the line was disconnected.

Eunrin held her phone close to her chest where she could feel the beat of her heart thumping louder as Jiyong’s voice replayed in her mind. “Shall we date then?”

Jiyong tossed his phone aside on the bed and covered his face with a pillow. He let out a frustrated groan, thinking how uncomfortable he’d made Eunrin.

Both thought differently but both sure did agree on one thing. That was a very awkward video call.

Ever since then, the two only stuck with text messages. To Eunrin surprise, Jiyong never ignored her replies. He would always respond back no matter how late.

As time passed by, the two began to go on phone calls. Just brief short ones because Eunrin didn’t want to consume Jiyong’s time and Jiyong didn’t want to push Eunrin. But both wanted to talk a bit longer. Their phone calls never took more than 10 minutes and they both craved for more.

December approaching soon and it was the holiday season. Instead of spending it at her dorm, Eunrin decided to go home and spend it with her family even though her parents were off to Jeju Island, Eunrin still got her brothers.
During the holidays, she spent most of her time at the café owned by her brothers and helped them around. She was there from morning till night every single day to keep her thoughts busy. She kept on thinking about how nice it would have been to spend the holiday season with Jiyong and sometimes, old memories with Sang Gil flooded into her mind uninvited. Used to having someone to spent the season with, she felt exceptionally lonely whenever she saw her brother, Taejun giggled at something his girlfriend sent or when Hyungseok’s girlfriend dropped by the café just to check on him.

“Do you want me to come over?” She heard Jiyong said through the phone. She was on call with the idol for about 5 minutes now on her break, just telling him that she felt slightly lonely seeing the couples around her.
“Whatever for? There’s no need for that.” She laughed. “I’m just saying that I’m lonely, not sad and desperate.”
“You don’t sound desperate but you do sound sad.”
“Well, I’m not. It’s just--it’s just tough trying to do the things that I’ve used to doing with someone else alone, you know? I mean, 4 years wasn’t a short period of time.”
“I supposed it is.” He wished he didn’t understand what she meant. He wished he didn’t know what she meant and who she was talking about.
“Oh, I better get going. You too Jiyong ssi, any concerts today?”
“No. We’re heading to the airport right now actually, going back to Korea in…” his voice trailed off. “Another 4 hours.”
“I guess we’ll be seeing the same stars soon.” She genuinely sounded happy and this made Jiyong happy too.
“I know we will. You take care, alright?”
“You too. Have a safe flight!”
Jiyong opened his mouth to reply but She already hung up.
Eunrin always hung up before waiting for any of his reply. This happened way too often for Jiyong to finally understand she was not doing this on purpose. It was really how she was.

“You seem happy, hyung.” Seungri teased.
“He just got off the phone with Eunrin, of course he is.” Taeyang chimed in.
The members noticed all these little things in Jiyong. When he smiled and blushed alone, sometimes murmuring something under his breath like “How was your day? No no, how was your day~? No no no, that sounds erted- how do you do? Too formal.” And how he constantly looked at his phone, sometimes waking up in the middle of the night just to check any messages.

They noticed how he began to browse any books that might be to Eunrin’s liking and kept an eye out for old vintage items. Once, Jiyong slipped.
“Eunrin would really love this.” And that was when the members knew.

12 December 2015

Even though the tour ended for now, Jiyong still had a lot of things to do. He had another upcoming Big Bang album going on, PEACEMINUSONE launching and this was not just going to be solely a resting period for him since he got to show up for another concert rehearsal soon. All these didn’t include any tv shows that he had to appear on later.

He looked at the books he bought in Japan. Two of them were poetry books and another two were high fantasies. He wasn’t sure if Eunrin already have them since he didn’t ask. He meant to surprise her. “She owns a lot of books, I’m unsure of what she has.”
“Why didn’t you just ask her?” Seungri looked at the books Jiyong bought. “Do you want me to ask her for you?”
“No. It’s okay. I’ll talk to her or something.”
“Really? I can just ask her, she’s talking to me right now.” He pointed to his phone, looking innocently at the older member.

If Jiyong felt anything of a jealousy, he didn’t show it. “I see. You guys have been texting?”
“Everyday of our lives.” The youngest replied nonchalantly as he returned to texting Eunrin.
Jiyong frowned at this. He wasn’t really happy that Seungri texted her everyday but they were not an item and Jiyong couldn’t claim anything over her. Not that he wanted to but he thought he was the only who texted her. What made it worse was that, Eunrin and Seungri texted daily, while Jiyong had to struggle to make time for her between his schedule.
“Hyung, do you know that her parents owned a cafe?” Seungri forwarded the location Eunrin had sent him to Jiyong.
Okay, now Seungri was just adding fuel to the fire. How come Eunrin didn’t tell him that her family owned a café? He would have gone down there the moment she told him about it.
Keeping his cool, Jiyong just checked out the place with a bored expression and just nodded. “Oh, okay.” With that, he left the room, leaving Seungri alone.

14 December 2015

Eunrin almost had a heart attack when Seungri and Jiyong appeared at the café. It was almost closing time and there weren’t many customers there but Eunrin lead them to her favorite sitting spot, hidden from the views of the crowd.
“What are you guys doing here?” She looked back and forth between Jiyong and Seungri.
Both had their disguises on. Seungri had a white mask on with sunglasses and a winter hoodie covering his head while Jiyong had a black mask on and a fishing hat covering the upper part of his face. He wore a baggy turtleneck with a jacket over it.

“Just dropping by.” Seungri did the talking. Jiyong didn’t say a word, didn’t so much look at Eunrin too.
The reason why he followed Seungri here was because, well, he wanted to see Eunrin but also because he didn’t want Seungri to charm Eunrin away right under his nose and of course, he had her books in the paper bag he brought. He should be talking to her right now, but his ego got the best of him.

“You got a nice place here, Eunrin.” Seungri looked around.
Eunrin just thanked him for the compliment and proceeded to take their orders. Jiyong just had a drink but Seungri ordered a few ramen.
After giving them what they ordered, Eunrin moved on to another customer. Seungri kept on munching down on the ramen and took in the interior once again.
“For your ramen shop?”
“Yes.” He admitted. “Came here to support but there’s no harm in seeing what I can add to the shop before the launching.”

They spent almost two hours in the café, just talking and ordering more stuff to eat and drink. Jiyong eyed the barista that Eunrin was so comfortable and touchy with. He just watched her from afar, feeling slightly jealous that she didn’t mind any physical contacts with the barista. He even ruffled her hair and pushed her away to the waiter, who caught Eunrin by the waist when she almost slipped. He then, playfully knocked Eunrin’s forehead, telling her to be more careful. Jiyong stood up calmly, grabbed the paper bag and walked over to Eunrin, right in front of the barista and waiter.
“For you.” He handed her the paper bag.
She took a peek inside. “These are books? For me?”
“From,” He jerked his head towards Seungri who was still enjoying his food “He asked me to give these to you.”
Now Eunrin beamed at him. “I’ll say my thanks to him!”

20 December 2015

Today was definitely a nightmare.
She hadn’t expected for him to come to the café but he did. Not only that he came here but he had the audacity to come here with the girl he cheated on her with.
What was worse was that, none of her brothers were in yet. Eunrin had to handle the customers alone for today. She looked over into the kitchen and see if any of the other staff were available but to her dismay, they were all busy making food. Reluctantly, Eunrin headed for their table.

“Can I take your order?” She tried to sound casual.
Sang Gil just looked at her like she was a low life. “yeah sure.”
“Can I please have one Salmon Steak?” The girl smiled at her.
At least she was nice.
“One salmon steak.” She jotted down the order. “Any drinks?”
“The usual.” Sang Gil said.
She knew his usual. Iced Americano. The girl ordered just a soda. Still waiting for Sang Gil’s order for food, Eunrin stood there quietly, wishing that this nightmare would end soon.

The bell on the door rang, another customer. She turned around and bowed.
“Welcome~” She said joyfully even though her insides were threatening to come out. “I’ll be there In a minute.”
“It’s alright.” The customer replied. She recognized that voice.
She’d just talked to him on the phone this morning.

When she lifted her head, she stood corrected. It was Jiyong.

Even though he had a full disguise on, it was impossible for Eunrin not to recognize him. He had his bucket hat pulled down, cover this head, and sunglasses on covering his eyes. The black mask was there, to cover his lower part of the face and he had a baggy turtle neck, hiding every single tattoos he had on him. In other words, Kwon Jiyong was covered from head to toe.
“I’ll just sit at the previous place.” He said, noting the customers Eunrin currently served. If he remembered them, he didn’t say anything. Instead, Jiyong just walked over to sit at the spot where he and Seungri sat last time he came.

Sang Gil just eyed Eunrin when she headed back into the kitchen to give out the orders. She didn’t even bother to come back to the table or walk next to it. Instead, she served Jiyong next. He just asked for a takeaway, since he couldn’t eat in public or people would have recognized him. While waiting, Jiyong scrolled through the BIGBANG chat group. TOP was lazing around at home, Taeyang was having a meeting with a director for an album concept, Daesung was back visiting his family and Seungri was busy preparing for the his ramen shop launch.

“Here’s your order,” Eunrin said as she sat down the food on Sang Gil’s table. “Enjoy.” She bowed and stalked away.

With his quick reflexes, Jiyong pulled Eunrin’s wrist when she walked pass him.

“Yes?” He noticed how she didn’t flinch at his touch anymore.
“Isn’t that…” Jiyong’s eyes trailed off to the ex-boyfriend and saw that they were being watched.
“Yeah…” She sighed. “I don’t know why he came here.”
Jiyong tightened his grip on her wrist and pulled her closer that Eunrin had to bend down a little. They were just having a conversation but to those who were watching, it was as if they were being intimate.
“He’s here to show you that he’s supposedly fine,” Jiyong’s eyes were still locked on Sang Gil, who now noticed that Jiyong were looking at him, looked away and pretended to be engaged in a conversation with his girlfriend.

“He did a good job then.”
“He’s also here to boost his ego, to show his dominance.” Jiyong explained, looking at Eunrin again.
She blinked at this. “What do you mean?”
“It means that, he wasn’t satisfied with the fact that you didn't even try to stop him from leaving you, he thought he had much power over you and wanted to guilt trip you. But you didn’t fell for it, right?”
Eunrin nodded.
“You didn’t and then I swooped in and had that brief talk with him on the phone.”
She nodded again so Jiyong continued. “And you didn’t contact him after that right? He just wants to test out his dominance on you. He came here because he couldn’t believe that he no longer has that effect on you. So he’s here to make sure that you bow to him.”

Eunrin didn't know what to say but she thought about what Jiyong said. She shouldn’t cower or even felt miserable being with Sang Gil in the same room. If anything, Sang Gil was the one who should be ashamed. Not her. He wanted her to feel small. That was not going to happen.

“Excuse me!” Sang Gil’s voice suddenly boomed, making every customers’ head turned to him.

“Y-yes?” Eunrin straightened up and Jiyong let go of her wrist.
“Why are you both sneaking glancing at me? Why are you looking at me like that?”
Confused, Eunrin tilted her head. “What do you mean?” She didn’t even look at him, Jiyong even focused only on Eunrin when he talked.
Sang Gil stood up, looking down at Eunrin. “Come here.”
“Stop, you’re making a scene in my café.” She put up a hand.

When Sang Gil took a step towards Eunrin, Jiyong stood up next to Eunrin.
“Why the hell did you get up? What? You’re with her?”
“What’s it to you?” Jiyong replied.

“Oppa, stop.” His girlfriend looked at him worriedly. “Just ignore them.”
“She was looking at me. Aren’t you the slightest bit worried that she kept on stealing glances at me?”
“What?” Now the girlfriend looked at Eunrin in shocked.

“I didn’t even breathe your way.” Eunrin tried to keep herself calm.

“Please” Sang Gil mocked her. “I’ve seen the way you looked at me. You’re still not over me.” He walked towards them lazily

Putting himself in front of Eunrin, Jiyong put a hand on Sang Gil chest as the latter was forcing himself on them. “I think that’s enough. Time for you to go.”

“Ah, were you him? The one on the phone?”
“Yeah, that’s me. The one who told you that she’s not going to fight for her relationship with you after you cheated on her in front of her face.”
Sang Gil’s face crumpled into what Eunrin assumed was hatred. Then, forcefully, he pushed himself against Jiyong and Eunrin got out of the way. Sang Gil’s girlfriend rushed over to them to stop them from fighting.

“Stop! Stop!” Eunrin pleaded, worried about Jiyong. Worried about the other customers. Some of them even had their phone out, recording the event.

Jiyong could be in so much trouble if people recognized him.

Then she saw Sang Gil’s hand reaching for Jiyong’s hat. Next thing she knew, she splashed iced coffee on Sang Gil’s face, making the guy flinched and let go of Jiyong. Jiyong straightened himself up and brushed off whatever invisible dust there was on his clothes while Sang Gil grudgingly wiped his face with his hand.

“YOU’RE TAKING HIS SIDE?!”
“He’s right though. You cheated on me with her.” She jerked her chin at the girl, who looked guilty now. Seeing how she reacted, Eunrin added. “I bet you didn’t even tell her you were with me when you met her. So now, please leave.” She stalked towards the entrance and roughly opened the door. “Out.”
Sang Gil shot Jiyong a last deathly glare before storming out of the café. The girl followed him from behind but she stopped at Eunrin. “I’m sorry.” She said and did a 90 degree bow. “I didn’t know.” Was all she said before hurrying after Sang Gil.

22 December 2015

Eunrin stared at the books that were stacking on her bed. She smiled at them, remembering how Jiyong had looked when he gave her the books. She thought it was kind of silly that he claimed Seungri had given her the books when he left a simple note inside the paper bag.

“Thought of you when I saw these. Your birthday might have passed by the time I am able to give you these but nevertheless, enjoy them alright? Then post some reviews about it on your instagram, so that I’ll know what you think of them.”

She had only told Jiyong about her Instagram account. She didn’t tell the other members about it. Truthfully, there was no reason for her to bring the subject up. With Jiyong, because it was in the moment. She didn’t plan to tell him about it, it just came up because of his questions.

“Silly man,” she shook her head as she reached for one of the poetry books and flipped it open.
Poetry wasn’t really her thing but Jiyong bought this for her and so she was going to read it. It would be a waste if she didn't.

Eunrin was almost halfway through the book when Seungri texted her.
“What are you doing right now?”
“Reading.”
“What are you reading?”
“The Princess Saves Herself In This One. Not bad.”
“The one Jiyong hyung bought for you? Are you free on the 24th?”
“Christmas Eve? I’m not sure, why?”
“We’re having a little get-together at my place.” He extended his invitation.
Eunrin’s not really someone who liked to go out at night, but the fact that Seungri had invited her, perhaps she should make time for it.
“We’ll see. I can’t promise. I have to check with my brothers if they need help at the café.”
“No problem, no pressure.” He assured her.
“Good night oppa.”
“Good night, Eunrin~ ^^ sleep well and dream of me~”
Eunrin laughed at his last text.

24 December 2015

Finally the day came and truth be told, Eunrin was nervous. She didn’t mind so much the Big Bang members but surely Seungri would have invited their other friends too. She had no idea who they were or if her first impression on them would good.

But it was too late to turn around now; she was already in front of his house. She took a deep breath and pressed on the doorbell. Soon enough she heard Seungri’s voice from the telecom and his face appeared on the screen.

“Oh hey, you’re here!” He beamed and the door opened.

Seungri poked his head out from the room. “Hi hi, come in Eunrin!” He opened the door wider.

Eunrin stepped inside; rubbing her arms together and was relieved to escape the cold outside.

She saw that TOP was sitting on the couch with his legs crossed, raising the glass of wine in his hand at her. Daesung was at the bar, talking to a guy. When he saw her, his smiled widened. “You’re here already?”
“Hello, Daesung-ssi.”
She took a look around the room; there were around 5 more people who Eunrin didn’t recognize. They must be Seungri’s close friends. Two of them were girls and one guy.
“Make yourself comfortable,” Seungri said to Eunrin, patting her shoulder. TOP raised a brow at the gesture. He wondered since when did Seungri and Eunrin got really close.
The girl settled herself on the single couch next to where TOP was sitting. He leaned forward, making an attempt to help Eunrin feel comfortable in the midst of strangers.
They both talked and Eunrin realized that TOP wasn’t as intimidating as she thought he would be. When they first hung out together, they didn’t talk to each other much. Eunrin avoided him because he looked too sharp but now that they were engaging in a conversation, they actually had a few things in common. For example, their sense of humor.

Roughly around 15 more minutes, the one that Eunrin had been dying to see again arrived. Kwon Jiyong had a huge grin on his face when he saw her as he entered the house with Taeyang. He bowed to the other few guests but didn’t stop walking towards the girl. To her surprise, instead of sitting on empty spot next to TOP, Jiyong proceeded with landing on the Eunrin’s armrest. He placed a hand behind her, supporting himself.

If he expected for no one to notice then he was surely wrong because TOP just smirked as he drank his wine.

“You’re early.” Said Jiyong to Eunrin.

“You’re just late.”
“Fashionably late.” He corrected.

Seeing how all of his guests were finally there, Seungri started to serve the food buffet style. Everyone can just sit anywhere but it didn’t escape the Big Bang members’ eyes that Jiyong attached himself to Eunrin. To test it out, Seungri purposely sat between his leader and the girl. He turned his back on Jiyong and faced Eunrin instead.

“So, Eunrin, now that you’re our friend, who do you like the most?” He asked, poking on the beef on his plate.
She chocked on her drink hearing the question. Jiyong pushed Seungri away and got closer to the girl, patting her back gently. “Really?”
“I’m just curious!” He laughed and offered Eunrin another glass of water. “Or do you prefer wine?”
Eunrin just shook her head, clearing as she thumped her chest. “Not a drinker.”
Daesung looked at Jiyong. “Not a drinker, you hear that hyung?”
“You still haven’t answer him, Eunrin-ssi” TOP reminded her.

While others were busy talking, this group had their undivided attention on Eunrin. “Seungri-ssi.” She didn’t hesitated at all.

“M-me?” He pointed to himself, looking dumbfounded. Behind Eunrin’s back, Jiyong shot him a glare. Perhaps it was a bad idea after all to be asking Eunrin such a question.

It passed midnight and a lot of the guests have already gone him. Taeyang and Daesung went home too. TOP was just chilling in Seungri’s room, the house owner in his kitchen. Eunrin, walked out to the patio, looking up to the cloudless night. It was cold and she could see her breath formed everything she exhaled. But it was just refreshing to get some air.

The sliding door behind her opened and jiyong stepped out. He looked a bit taken aback when he saw Eunrin out there. He was thinking of smoking a little before he headed home but he changed his mind.
“I thought you went home?” He slid the door close gently.
She rubbed her arms together as she shook her head. “I’m trying to call my roommate, to pick me up but she’s not answering.”
“You need a lift?”
“It’s okay, I can just take the cab or the bus home.”
“But it passed midnight already.” He looked at the time. “Come on, let me take you home.” He didn’t wait for her answer. Kwon Jiyong just went back inside the house and motioned for her to follow him.

As much as Eunrin didn’t want to admit it, she was happy.

Usually, Jiyong would be blasting music from his speakers in the car but tonight; he preferred this silence between him and Eunrin. He felt at ease. The girl fell asleep after 1o minutes of getting into the car. He envied her to be honest. She could just sleep anytime she want and get as much rest she could while Jiyong had to struggle between the schedules. He only got one day off, and tomorrow, he had to go back to his schedule.

Jiyong stopped at the traffic light and took a good look at the girl next to him. He blew a raspberry when he thought of her answer. He genuinely thought that she would say his name but of course, Seungri was more charming and funny. He was easier to talk to and he was very open. Unlike him, who was very secretive, doesn’t really have a lot to talk in a full group of people and didn’t have any sort of cheesy pickup lines that he observed seemed to like so much.

The car moved again, almost abruptly that Eunrin woke up.

“Did I wake you? Sorry.” His hand instinctively her head.
Half asleep, she just shook her head, leaning a bit more towards Jiyong, letting him her head.

“No…” her voice was low but loud enough for Jiyong to hear.

She went back to sleep and Jiyong’s lips curled up in a smile. At least now he knew what he was going to do during New Year’s Eve.

31st December 2015

It was 31st December and Eunrin had no one to spend it with. Her brothers were on dates with their respective girlfriends tonight, leaving Eunrin alone in the café. She already put up the ‘CLOSED’ sign but she just left the lights on.

While everyone else were busy celebrating New Year’s Eves with their loved ones, Park Eunrin spent it alone in the café, sitting at her usual spot with stacks of books on her side and a camera in her hand. The table in front of her were full of props and deco and books. She was taking photos for her IG account.

She didn’t update in almost 3 days now, and she needed to post a review on the books she just received from the publishers. If not, they will not contact her anymore and she won’t get any free new releases. She spent about 2 hours, just taking photos of the books, from different angle, different lighting, different props, different layouts and flatlays and this process were being repeated with each books. There were 10 books for her to shoot that night.

The bell on the door chimed, indicating that someone entered the café.
“Sorry but we’re closed!” She walked to the front and came face to face with a red nosed Jiyong.

“Hi.” He panted, rubbing his hand for some warmth.

“Hello,” she blinked. “Let me get you some hot drink. What do you want?”
“Just coffee.”

“Okay, but can you lock the door? We’re closed.” She headed for the kitchen and Jiyong did as he was told.

While Eunrin was in the kitchen, Jiyong settled himself at Eunrin’s usual spot. He saw that she was doing some photoshoot and was amazed. How could anyone be so invested in this? Perhaps it was the same way as how he was so invested in music. Different things, different approach but same fiery passion.

Eunrin came out from the kitchen, with two mugs. One was Jiyong’s hot coffee while the other one was her Hot Cocoa with marshmallow on top.

“That looks tempting.” He commented, looking at Eunrin’s drink.

She passed him his mug and held hers with both hands. “This is mine.” She playfully said. “You want to have a taste?”
“Can I?”
“No.”
“That’s mean.” He teased and Eunrin just laughed. She sat in front of Jiyong and took a sip of her drink.

“It pays to be a little mean sometimes.” She announced and then for a moment, Jiyong thought he would die from his heart beating so fast when she broke into a smile.

Without thinking, he spoke. “Date me.”

“What?”
“Date me.” He repeated a little louder.
“Is this a joke?”
“It’s New Year’s Eves, not April Fools.”

Eunrin didn’t know what to think. She just stared at him for a solid one minute, unable to speak, unable to look away. Jiyong put his head down on the table and looked at her again. He searched her eyes, trying to find some answers on what she was feeling but there was nothing. She was hard to read.

“I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because, because I don’t know what I’m feeling.”
“How can you not know what you feel?” he chuckled a little, trying to lift up the tension. “I’m serious, Eunrin. Date me.”
There it was again. Date me. She couldn’t believe her ears. He was asking her to date him. Why was she hesitating? Wasn’t it every fans’ dream to date their idols?
“I want to give us a try.” Jiyong spoke, he didn’t break eye contact with her. “I really do like- no, I’m falling for you. Hard. Every single day. I fell for you the moment I saw how strong you were when faced with something so hurtful.” He referred to the moment when they all witnessed Sang Gil cheated on her. “I fell for you when you talked about your passion, the books that you loved and all those characters, you talk about them as if they’re alive. When I saw Sang Gil at the café, my heart stopped. I was worried that you might not be over him, or that you might fall for him again. I was scared out of my wits for that. You’re pretty even when you cry but you’re beautiful when you have that smile that I keep on thinking about. Do you see what you’re doing me, Eunrin? Do you have any idea how I look forward to every single one of your replies, how the words I’m supposed to put down into my lyrics slipped my mind because your name seemed to occupy it? I am madly in love with you.” The last words came out as a whisper.

Eunrin broke her gaze away. It was all too much for her to take in. The idol of idols was confessing his love to her and all she could do was look away. Yes she fell for him too. Yes, she wanted to know more about him too.

“I don’t know if I can do this,” She breathed. “I don’t know if this is real… Listen, you could have anyone in this world. You’re in a world that’s different than mine.”
“But do you love me?”
“That’s the thing, I don’t know who I love! I don’t want to be with you because of your status, because of your fame or because you’re G-dragon. Yes, I am madly in love with you. We’ve talked, I felt so connected with you but I don’t know who I am in love with and it’s… it’s frustrating…”

At her words, Jiyong softened.
“Kwon Jiyong. You’ve been talking to Kwon Jiyong. Every single words, every single letters, those were all from Kwon Jiyong. Every time I see you, met you, talk or look at you, I’m Kwon Jiyong. You said you’re in love with me, you’re in love with Kwon Jiyong. So date me. Date me as Kwon Jiyong.”

A single tear felt from her eyes, she didn't know what to feel. It didn’t feel real to her but she knew, that this was very much as real as her existence.

Jiyong got up and leaned forward, wiping the tear from her face and caress her cheeks. It was soft, just like her. Both of them locked eyes and for a moment, the time stopped. He tilted Eunrin’s head back a little and leaned in for a kiss when she didn’t swat his hand away.

He watched her as she closed her eyes and more tears felt. A smile crept on his lips against the kiss and her cupped her face while her hands holding his. This was the moment he had been waiting for.

Jiyong then kissed the tears away and rested his forehead on hers.
“I’m Kwon Jiyong. I will always be Kwon Jiyong with you.”

JIYONG'S INTERACTION WITH GROUPS MEMBERS:

Choi Seunghyun (TOP): 96%
To be growing up in the same neighbourhood when they were just children and to have debuted together in a small group really make Jiyong and TOP closer than ever. The two started to become closer after they worked on their duo album GD&TOP.

Dong Youngbae (Taeyang): 98%
The two of them cared for each other like brothers. They're inseparable and they know everything about each other. It's difficult for any of them to hide anything from one another.

Kang Daesung (Daesung):96%
Daesung is very respectful towards Jiyong and the other members. They got along well during their trainee days and being in band consist only of 5 members, it's impossible to have created a distance between them.

Lee Seunghyun (Seungri): 98%
As much as Jiyong doesn't want to admit it, he likes to spoil Seungri a lot. Even though the youngest member stirs a lot of problems sometimes, Jiyong couldn't help but dote on him. Seungri sometimes get irritated by Jiyong's daily call asking him where he is but he refuses to admit that he feels a bit lonely when Jiyong is off somewhere to another country.

EUNRIN'S NTERACTION WITH GROUPS MEMBERS:

Seungri | 95% closeness.
Eunrin is the closest to the youngest Big Bang member. Probably because he is closer to her by age compared to the other members. Seungri treated Eunrin like a really close friend and he really takes good care of her. If Jiyong isn't around or on a solo tour, Seungri will be the one to check up on Eunrin during the weekends. Ever since he opened his Aori Ramen restaurant, he had been giving Eunrin free food. She came to support him but instead he gives her free meals most of the time. They gossip together too, just simple stuff, sometimes about Jiyong, sometimes Seungri asks Eunrin about setting him up with any of her friends. The two would go out together, just the two of them to just chill out. He's the one who keeps an eye on Eunrin most of the time while Jiyong is in the army with the rest of the members.

Daesung | 70% closeness.

Kang Daesung and Eunrin's interaction aren't much at first. Both didn't know how to approach each other and usually ended up sitting together in silence. But it got better when Daesung fooled around and pulled Eunrin with him. Not wanting to embarrass him, Eunrin just followed his steps and the two of them eventually went crazy. They don't talk or text but when they meet, they have a lot to talk about. Eunrin would sometimes gossip with him and Daesung would spill the tea with her.

Taeyang | 85% closeness.
He is Jiyong's close friend and he knows a great deal of how Jiyong is. Most of the time, Taeyang would drop Eunrin some advice regarding Jiyong and he would drop Jiyong advises regarding Eunrin. Taeyang, if Jiyong didn't have the time, he would check up on Eunrin. He sometimes would call her or texts her. Eunrin likes talking to Taeyang, she feels like he is very brotherly towards her and that is true actually. Taeyang likes listening to Eunrin's random general knowledge but he knows that

TOP | 78% closeness.
Eunrin admitted that she was a bit intimidated by TOP when they first met. But soon after getting to know him, she realized that TOP is just like the other members. One thing that Eunrin and TOP can connect and relate to each other is their love for food. She still has trouble looking at TOP because of his sharp eyes but the two of go out together to grab meals. Sometimes TOP would send Eunrin food coupons or codes for her to get discounts.

JIYONG'S AND EUNRIN'S RELATIONSHIP:

Even though the members know about their relationship, Jiyong never publicly display it to them. He didn't want to make the members uncomfortable is one thing, another is that he just wants to keep the intimate things between him and Eunrin only.
He does a lot and read her like an open book. It didn't take Jiyong long to fully understand how Eunrin acts.
They fought a lot due to misunderstandings and jealousies. Despite the fact that Eunrin is understanding, and knows how Jiyong's, there are times when she couldn't comprehend certain things that Jiyong does and Jiyong at times too couldn't read between the lines and tend to be insensitive towards Eunrin's feelings regarding his behaviour.
But they're both working on it. Instead of throwing the relationship away, the two of them tried to fix it, they sat down and have a talk of what's really going on with them and try to be more understanding of the other and more tolerable. They help each other out and often remind each other that they're together because they love each other. The reason why Eunrin is by Jiyong's side is that Jiyong wants her to be there and Eunrin's there because she wants to be there for him.

If Eunrin were to go out and hang out with her friends, doesn't matter who or what gender, she would always inform Jiyong. She's not asking for permission but more like telling him where she would be and with who so that he wouldn't worry as much. She'll text him when she got home too or not and it's the same with Jiyong. Eunrin doesn't mind skinship but when she's in a relationship, she'll avoid being touch by her guy friends, regardless if it's just a high five, or a handshake or a hug. She respects Jiyong too much to do that. It might seem old school and petty but sometimes, those kinds of acts could lead to misunderstanding and jeopardize her relationship. So she set her boundaries with her guy friends. They can still be as close as ever, but without any physical contact unless it's an emergency.
Jiyong on the other hand, could not avoid physical contact due to his line of work. He just has Eunrin in his thoughts whenever he shoots with a female and when he meets her, he'll be sure to hug her a lot and spoil her.
While Eunrin often shows her appreciation towards Jiyong, Jiyong rarely does that. He appreciates her but he doesn't really express it, which is one of the reasons why they tend to fight a lot because Eunrin felt like she's being used sometimes. When confronted, Jiyong would throw a fit instead of really trying to see her point and they would have a time out for a few days. Three days maximum until one of them checked on the other.

One thing for sure, even though they fight a lot, they laugh and smile a lot too when they're together. They could just stay in silence and be content with the fact that they're there together and not with anyone else. They do a lot of things together and they miss each other a lot too. They would jump at the opportunity to meet up and spend the time together. They would make time for long small talks and serious conversations. Because despite the fact that they fight, they're smitten with one another wouldn't give up on the relationship.
