Eunrin has an old soul. she prefers books over the tablet, she prefers the old over the new, the vintage over the modern. to her, old things have more sentimental values to it rather than the new ones and they have that memories and stories that no one ever knew. eunrin appreciates things like that. she even has her own collection of old letters, telegrams, postcards and some of them were well aged well over 100 years old.
because of the books she'd read, eunrin craves for adventures. she likes to travel but she also likes to stay at home. no matter how long or where she dissappeared to, eunrin would always come back home. it is the only place where she feels like she belongs. sometimes, she doesn't have to go far, she only have to go to the forest on the hill behind the town and just stay there for a few hours.
one thing about eunrin, when she dissappeared, she never told anyone where she went which caused the people around her to be worried. sometimes, eunrin doesn't think of her actions or what the consequences might be. she can be selfish at times when it comes to getting what she wants, but she's not doing it on purpose. that's just how she is.

EUNRIN COMES FROM AN AVERAGE FAMILY OF FIVE. HER MOTHER USED TO OWN A CAFE BUT NOW, IT BELONGS TO HER BIG BROTHERS. HER FATHER WORKS IN A SMALL CORPORATE COMPAMY BUT WITH ENOUGH SALARY TO SUSTAIN THE FAMILY.
IN HIGH SCHOOL, EUNRIN WAS JUST AN OKAY STUDENT. SHE BARELY PASSED HER MATHS AND SCIENCE AND SHE DID JUST FINE ON THE OTHER SUBJECTS TOO. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ENGLISH AND ARTS, EUNRIN COULD ANSWER THE EXAM PAPERS AND PAINT WITH HER EYES CLOSED. SHE MAY NOT BE AN EXPERT IN CERTAIN SUBJECTS BUT SURE KNOWS WHERE YOU THRIVE. EVENTHOUGH EUNRIN WAS NOT LIKE HER BIG BROTHERS IN STUDIES, SHE WAS REALLY GOOD IN SPORTS. SHE MANAGED TO WIN A SECOND PLACE IN ARCHERY IN THE NATIONALS AND EARNED HER FIRST PLACE IN THE TRACK TEAM DURING AGAINST OTHER SCHOOLS.
bolin wasn't exactly Eunrin's first choice. she wanted to get into Seoul institute of arts but apparently, being only good in arts isn't exactly helping to get a place there. so eunrin started searching for other universities and found out that bolin university is holding an open day. she went to check out the place and fell in love with it instantly. the rain, the cold weather, the beautiful building. who would have thought that such a small town could offer so much? her brothers thought she was rash in making her decisions when she went straight ahead and registered, but her heart just knew that this is where she wanted to be.
eunrin tries to stay out of the spotlight ever since she first enrolled there but it was hard to stay low when she's an art student. everyone in her department has that aura that could distinguished them from anyone else and eunrin couldn't escape this too. it could be the way she brings herself or the way she talks or maybe it's just her. so anywhere she goes, people know her.

those are the things eunrin often heard. truthfully, deep down eunrin feels good. it's good to have something that people appreciate and envy of because back in her school days, art was nothing. she couldn't excel in other subjects but arts was her saviour. it's just sad that arts tend to be looked down upon.

bolin was perfect and it got more perfect when a certain someone came into the picture. she was head over heels over this guy. they met, they became friends, they got close and eventually, they started to have feelings for each other. but eunrin's perfect little world didn't last. things started to get tough for her when there were rumours circulating about her and the guy. people talked about her and him and as if they knew what was going on. they talked like it was nothing when it meant something in someone's life.

life style:EunRin majoring in arts. Which means she always sleep late to finish her projects and wakes up early for class. her sleeping pattern is pretty much messed up.no matter how early she starts on her projects, eunrin will be one of the students who submit them last minute. last minute as in only 5 minutes left before the deadline. that's eunrin
her favourite subjects are history in asian arts and illustrations (both traditional and digital). she never missed a single class when it comes to these two subjects.
being in art major means a lot of sleepless nights for eunrin. to keep awake, she'll have to drink coffee. she's not a coffee lover but you know if you see her drinking a cup, that means she got a lot of work to do.
Eventhough it's always raining in Bolin, Eunrin actually likes it. Rainy days are her favourites. she feels comfortable and cozy whenever she hears the water drops on her roof.
eunrin never misses a single meeting even if she wanted to. she spent a lot of her free time at cafe rhi, sometimes just chilling, most of the time just reading.
She only got four subjects this semester. three of it are day classes and only one night class.

eunrin is extremely close to both of her brothers. They spoilt her senseless in their own way. while taejun is the fun one, hyungseok is always the who keeps her in check. when it comes to her brothers, eunrin is very protective of them, just how they are over her. they fight a lot too but they always make up with each other. whenever eunrin needs someone by her side, her brothers are the first to pop in her mind. they always know how to make her feel better and give her the best advices even though they know that their little sister is stubborn and doesn't always do as what they told her, but they are there to support her anyway.

eunrin and minhee started to become friends during their first years in university. during the first semester, even though they are from different department, there are certain subjects that they have to take together, such as entrepreneurship or english. they paired up for most group works simply because they were roommates and it was easier to discuss but after time, minhee and sora started to be more than just groupmates and roommates. they were inseperable, like sisters. the two take care of each other and understand each other the best. they don't have to do everything together or talk all the time. sometimes the two can just sit down and do nothing and they have their own group of friends. but neither of them really take it personally because they know, no matter what, in the end they're still best friends.

Ji sub is basically everyone's favourite professor. he's funny, he's open and he's very smart. despite his cold and fierce look, seo ji sub is actually a very warm person inside. when he cares, he cares more than the others. because of this, he's very observant. ji sub always know how to handle a situation calmly and in a very mature way. probably because of his age and life experiences. he knows that not everybody is the same, therefore he approach different people with different ways. depending on what he thinks they're comfortable with. most of the time, it works.
While in class, ji sub takes his work seriously. he's knows his subject, history of asian art is boring that's why every time he comes to class, he'll try different fun methods to attract the students' attention. true, they are not kids anymore but if it's boring, it's still boring regardless of their age. but when it comes to grading, ji sub doesn't play around. he grades his students fairly and consult them when he sees there's a problem with their studies. all kinds of students come to see him, for a consultation session, he has to deal with a lot of them. some were just there for the sake of being there, some wanted to have an alone time with him, some were just plain weird. it's amazing with the amount of patience he has in handling them.
he can be very childish when he's with the person he likes(despite his age), ji sub likes to . a lot. he won't call her names but he just joke around with her more than he often do with other people. he'd treat her like everybody else but always make a point to make her feel special, maybe through flirting, or through his advices or actions. he's very open and straightforward about his feelings too that sometimes she thinks he's just joking. but just because he is straighforward and open, doesn't mean that he shows everything he do for her. sometimes, he goes behind her back, wether it's the little things or the big things, it doesn't matter. he judge the situation, process the events, think of the consequences, and only then, he'll take action because he's the kind of guy who always think things through. he sees the whole picture instead just focusing on one point. he also likes cheesy and corny jokes or pick up lines.
with his age, one would think he's very mature. but jisub isn't perfect. he can be petty and insecure too at times. especially when he's jealous. even though he isn't the type to get jealous easily, he also has his dark thoughts that plays with his mind. because of the , jisub sometimes wonder what is it about him that makes eunrin likes him so much. he sometimes think that the girl might just want to toy with him and he can be petty towardst any boy who flirts with eunrin.

bolin university is his third university to teach at. ji sub was a professor at two universities in seoul before he quit and come here. back in the days, he studied korean literature instead of arts but he fell in love in arts along the way. he did his degree in arts after his diploma in literature and continued his masters in arts as well.
ji sub is the only child in his family and he takes care of his parents. he sends them cash every month every time he visits. his family owns a small farm and whenever it's semester break, ji sub would help his parents out there. being a good son, he spoilt his parents senseless. he's also somewhat of a country bumpkin so he knows his way through the gardening, farming and rearing.
he's been in a few relationships before, got engaged once but never married. only two months left before the wedding when his ex-fiancee decided to break it off. she got a job offer in switzerland and decided to pursue it. ji sub knows better than to ask her to stay when clearly she wants to go. in the end, they broke the engagement.

eun rin and ji sub didn't intend to fall in love. it started out as a harmless friendship. neither expected for things to turn out this way. they first met in the forest that eunrin often take walks in. he was just there, geeking himself out over some plants and eunrin joined him, listening him explaining some very boring details about plants. but she listened anyway. she was just amused with this 40 year old man who talk so passionately about plants.
"DO YOU KNOW WHY BIRDS ALWAYS FLY tilted in bolin? it's because they flap one wing while the other is covering their faces because of the rain."
one day, while jogging, eunrin spotted him again so she approached the man. the two jogged side by side and she found out that he was a professor there. they just have empty conversations before parted ways again. from time to time, they bumped into each other and just jogged together so they became jog buddies.
"i'm a very lovable person, especially towards my students. so i'm giving you guys my love"
when the new semester starts, eunrin almost flipped her table when ji sub entered her class and introduced himself. she knows that he's a professor, but she never thought that they would be in the same department. in the class, the two maintained a student teacher relationship. ji sub likes to wink to his students because they always give out the best reaction but eunrin always felt that his winks are meant for her and only her.
"you don't have to come to my office every time you have a question. here, take my number. just message me if you have any questions. any. question."
eunrin always made up excuses to see ji sub in his office. most of the time she just pretended that she didn't understand his lesson when she understood them perfectly. ji sub wasn't slow. he knew exactly what she was up to and took the first step. he gave her his phone number by using the same excuses that eunrin gave him. he gave her permissions to contact him anytime she wanted except when he was in class. she can even call him, he said if the questions were too long or too hard to be explained in a message.
"i'm sorry this happened to you. i should have been more careful..."
because of their close relationship, rumours started to circulate that they were dating. as much as eunrin and ji sub wanted it to be true, they weren't dating. at least not yet. eunrin didn't want to put ji sub's career in jeopardy and ji sub didn't want to ruin eunrin's future.
