Unlike her sister, Melanie is the type to make quick decisions which of course are usually effective. More or less to her own convenience. Melanie can be quite thrifty when spending money and her time. She usually has an outline of sort and already planned in her head. Then again, there are times depending if its limited edition or something like that, Melanie spends more than needed.Which makes her a bit complicated at times as those around her don't know how to read her at times. However there are times when Melanie's easy to read, but that's usually in predictable situations like when she's hungry or drawing and the likes. When she's banging on the drums is what you gotta watch out. Still to this day, Melanie still acts, does, and say things without a forethought. background Melanie and her sister lived a pretty good life while growing up in the states. Her parents did well and they would visit Seoul every other summer to visit their father's mother. Her mother's family all moved to the states, it was just her grandmother on her father side who didn't want to leave home even if she had to live alone. Anyways, it was because of Melanie that she found herself and her sister taking a very spontaneous trip to Seoul after she had an argument with her dad about his mom's well-being. He was gonna cut ties since his mom was being stubborn about moving and his time at work didn't permit for him to care for her all the way overseas. Melanie was actually planning to go live with the grandma all alone, but Serena caught wind of it and tried to stop her sister, but it was too late and the two ended up in Seoul. It was because of their grandmother that the sisters got scouted by the newly founded Starship because their grandmother knew the owner from babysitting him years ago. He was a good friend of their father before they went their separate ways. Anyways, the reason why they never debuted was because they focused on school and caring for their grandmother who would grow frail and recover. They didn't want her to die alone if they were too busy only focusing on training.
