background Seol's parents were a mixture of Chinese and Korean and so how far back she can trace her actual background is hard. Seol's life also involved music, but it wasn't a practical way to live and earn money from what her parents told her and her sister. Seol relied on music as it was a way to connect with her sister after her death. Seol's sister committed suicide and there wasn't really anyway she could have known and it shpaed her life in a sense, but she didn't let it control her once she was able to move on. Seol was only eightteen when her sister died. Anyways, before joining Starship, Seol was a previous trainee under SM Entertainment as it was a company her sister really enjoyed and wanted to audition for. Seol went in with that belief and was a trainee, but left after about two years or so in. Starship was able to scout her over shortly afterwards and she felt better here.
