background Majority of the beginning is on Melanie's app. Anyways, Serena and Melanie loved to perform for the fun of it as it was a way to send their mother fun videos as they hardly saw one another. The girls would post it online for their grandmother to see and she became quite tech savvy thanks to them in order to keep in touch. The reason the sisters ended up in Seoul was because their father was practically going to disown his own mother because he didn't have time. Their mother agreed as they can spend their summers elsewhere and the fact that their mother never got along with their grandmother either. This upset Melanie greatly and Serena knew something was up when her sister didn't show up to her graduation after party. Anyways, the sisters actually haven't gone home in nearly ten years and have lived and cared for their grandmother insteaad. Somehow to them, life was good here. Also, Serena wasn't really into wanting to be any sort of entertainer or whatever, but her grandmother was quite persuasive and also the fact that she couldn't just let Melanie be alone seeing how they ended up in Seoul in the first place.
