ELABORATION
outgoing: youngsun can sing in front of anyone anywhere. around her members youngsun is extra loud and extra energetic and extra everything. her parents being performers themselves made her a bit dramatic with her reaction to things, and by a bit i mean a lot. sometimes it can seem annoying sicne she's at a 10 all the time.
positive: youngsun tries to stay on the positive side of things. even if she gets down she tries to remind herself that it'll all be okay. she has to be this way because she's failed so many times before that if she doesn't she'll go back into the depression she was in. that's why people call her sunny or the vitamin of ultraviolet because even when the mood is down, she wants to bring it up to avoid negative thinking.
motherly: even though she's the third youngest, youngsun calls herself the mom of the group because she helps her members so much. since she treasures her members she wants to make sure they're ok, everytime they're sad or upset or need something she tries to get it. though for some reason she never seems to get it right because she's so clumsy and just extra. her members can bet money that she'll trip on her way back with the food because she usually does. she really does mean well though ends up causing more of a mess than intended.
overthinker: youngsun has a really bad overthinking habit because of her past experience in the industry. she can't help to think of the worst case scenarios and that's why she tries so hard to stay positive and be happy because she doesn't want to spread negativity to herself and others. its also why she loves being around her memebrs and trying so hard to help them. sometimes she'd let these thoughts slip out but after three years of being together her members can tell when somethings wrong because she rambles about an unrelated topic.
dependent: youngsun depends on her members a lot. she's with them all the time and struggles to be alone because of her thoughts so she basically never is. around her members she's this playful person though when none of them are there she might be more quiet and sad, especially with the pressures of produce angel. it's been so long since they were apart that she doesn't know how she'll be.
perfectionist: due to her overthinking youngsun is a big perfectionist, almost to the point that its unhealthy. she's the kind of person to drag people out the studio when they work too hard but when she's in that mode she can't drag herself out, she needs someone to literally prevent her from singing until hurts.

youngsun's dream to become a singer came from her parents. her parents are singers at a local cabaret in seoul, they perform 4 nights a week as a duo so growing up youngsun heard her parents practicing and saw their performances all the time. youngsun used to think her parents were the coolest people ever, it wasn't until she was older did she realize that the boss often mistreats them. she thought working at a cabaret and putting on shows for people was amazing yet the boss called them just cabaret singers and said they should be happy with whatever he pays them because no one else would hire a mediocre act. since youngsun just overheard she barged in the room and said "my parents are the bestest and someday she'll be a big singer like them!" their boss laughed and said "you'll be lucky if you even got a cabaret job, let alone be a big singer. take your kid out of here, she has no manners." instead of defending her her parents apologized because they needed the money. youngsun always wanted to be a singer but that experience made her 10 times more determined.

CONECTION TO THE KPOP INDUSTRY
youngsun was a cube trainee for 2 and a half years before getting transferred to maroo. she doesn't really know why they transferred her, she didn't really have a choice in the matter but thinks it was a blessing in disguise because she was able to debut in prism after 6 months.

ELABORATION
when youngsun debuted in prism on january 1 in 2017 with urikiri she was so happy that her dream was finally coming true. she was the maknae, lead vocalist and dancer of the group. every year many groups debut and only a handful make it but youngsun was hopeful that prism would be one of them because they had a cute and refreshing concept though it didn't happen. the rest of the group wasn't very close to youngsun because unlike the others she didn't go through puberty so her voice was still high like their songs. but the other members had to strain their voices to each that high, one of them even got vocal nodules from it. they became jealous whenever youngsun got praised or they were compared to her so they made her feel left out and bullied her. it didn't take long for youngsun to get depressed because she was getting bullied within her group and they weren't doing well. prism only had 2 singles in early 2017 then basically disappeared off the face of the earth and maroo never said anything because they barely had fans anyways.
since prism wasn't doing well, maroo tried to debut another group but this time a duo and wanted youngsun to join. youngsun left prism in 2018 to join khan with another member of prism who was also in maroo's girl group named myb that lasted a year. the other member wasn't fond of youngsun so their relationship was strictly business. she was already of age so when they didn't have schedule or practice, she was out drinking while youngsun was at their dorm alone or practicing on her own.
khan did better than prism but not good enough to satisfy maroo so once again they just went silent until maroo removed them from their website. youngsun remained in maroo, uncertain about her fate as a singer because in 2 years she was already in 2 failed groups. until mmg entertainment reached out to her wanting her to join their first girl group named ultraviolet. youngsun was hesitant at first because it was just another small company however she also didn't want to wait around at maroo anymore so she took her chance and joined mmg.
she was the last member to join ultraviolet and was hard to approach at first. ultraviolet was more successful than any of her other groups so when they got 18,000 sales for their first ep she thought those numbers were really impressive. hearing those numbers made her eager and excited to continue as a group. since she was so burned from the past, it took her 6 months to get close to her members. but now her members and her fans know her as the happy virus that keeps them all energized.
as the main vocalist, youngsun does most of the high notes which is really hard on . her voice is still high but not as high as before so she has to strain to reach notes she used to. she got vocal nodules four times and had to get surgery twice but she always recovers by the time the comeback starts, even if she's not she has to perform anyways. before comebacks she too goes on a strict diet but for her she can at least drink lemon and honey tea for her vocals. even though being an idol is hard, she wouldn't trade it for anything in the in the world and she doesn't know what she'd do without her sisters.

IF YOU WERE A MEMBER OF A K-POP GROUP, WHAT WOULD YOUR POSITION BE? i'm currently the main vocalist of my group so i want to stay that way. i think i'm a good dancer but i'll be fine without having that title because at least i can take a break when i do adlibs and high notes haha. i'll let koi do all the dancing for me.
OUT OF 10 HOW TALENTED WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF? can i be honest? i think i'm an eight out of ten but i'm afraid my vocals will be lacking compared to the new trainees because i have weak vocal cords. actually no i'll be positive! i'm an eight out of ten! ten out of ten! thats all!
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A KPOP IDOL? my parents are singers and i want to be just like them. before ultraviolet i was an idol twice before in prism and khan and i almost gave up but my little sister and my members gave me hope again.
